@@laurajordan4835 no problem! Hope you have a great trip, I can relate because I’m the same way when researching a place. You also might be interested in my “top things to do in Oahu” video 👍
Great video! Any issues flying your drone on any of the hikes? I didn’t see any footage from your #1 hike so wondering if there’s a particular reason. Thanks!
Thanks a lot! And no issues at all, I didn't fly it at the #1 hike because it was very windy at the summit, and there weren't many other good launch points that I can recall
I hiked Lulumahu this weekend and it was amazing! Me and 5 buddies went together and found this "side trail" around half way through. It lead us all the way up the mountain! Definitely was not safe at all, probably a half mile or so of super steep and slippery dirt. If we fell we would have died or been in a wheel chair, but the view on top was unlike anything I have ever seen before. We somehow made it safely down and proceeded to the waterfall which was perfect. Took some amazing pictures and cooled off in the water. 100% recommend, and if you find that trail up the mountain, make sure you have actual hiking shoes unlike us lol
I noticed you did a few drone shots here! Is that allowed in those areas? I would love to take my DJI mini with me, super low profile to knock out some quick shots.
I did and it’s awesome. But police was at the beginning of the stairs, he didn’t care to much but it’s kind of illegal although many people were doing that say

Thanks for a good video...just work on your Hawaiian pronunciation...it's really not very hard to learn at all and I think it would greatly enhance your video and show respect.
Thanks! I definitely work on it, I know you’re supposed to pronounce each vowel, and the w’s in the middle of a word are like v’s - but I’m sure I can still improve a lot!
I lived on Oahu for 14 years and hiked many of these. Saw a whale breach off Kaena Point once- absolutely breathtaking
@@heavenbound3665 wow that sounds incredible!
Really enjoyed the review. Thank you!
Thank you so much, glad to hear it :)
Thank you! I’m a planner and I’ve started planning for our trip in 2027. I want to do the best of everything

Dang I’m jealous, wish I was back in Hawaii - hope you have a great trip and do some legendary hikes!!
We did the #1 and agreed with what you said. You captured the hikes very well. Job well done.
Thanks so much, happy hiking!!
Awesome!!! Thanks for the information. Already did 3/10. On to the next.

Dude! Have you not done Manoa Falls - about 20 mins from Waikiki? It's a good one. Not difficult but nice if you like nature.
I have not actually, thanks for the suggestion!
What app are you using with the screenshots of the hike descriptions? Thanks for the video. I plan on watching all of the Oahu videos you have.
Manoa falls!!! Best waterfall hike in Oahu
Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m almost positive you can use a drone at all of the places I used mine 👍
You should have done Mau Nawiliwili falls that is a great hike to a waterfall.
Maunawilli trail was closed at the time I was there, I really wanted to visit - maybe in the future I can do it!
What kind of camera do you use to make the videos?
iPhone 12 Pro Max, Panasonic LUMIX G7, DJI Mini
Wiliwilinui ridge trail didn’t make the video?
Great suggestion, I've actually never hiked this trail but it sounds similar to Kuliouou so I'm sure its a fantastic one!
I wonder why you didn’t include Moanalua Valley Trail to Stair way heaven. one of the Most insane hike in Hawaii
It sounds like an amazing hike, but I actually never did it - it sounded like it was mostly illegal, and very long. Maybe I will try it in the future!
@@WanderlustWellman It is off limits to everyone because of decaying stairs.

Oops. Found the answer at the end!
No worries, glad you stuck around until the end of the video haha
