I have never been a yellow fan. Ever since I worked at a Hummer dealer right out of high-school. We use to call them short busses, for some reason they sold way to often. But this hands down is the best looking yellow I have ever seen on a vehicle. I would actually put it on my car.
I worked at a Honda dealership a few years back and we had a salesman with one of those hummers. The techs and me called it that too! We had fun teasing him about it and he was a good sport joking back.
This is definitely one of the better yellows out there. It's not so much my jam (I'm just not into bright colors in general) but everyone should have their colors of choice seen. I'll just wait on that matte pluto midnight flip for as long as it takes. Even if I end up waiting as long as Leandro did.
This is a good example of yellow done right. Interference pearls are some of my favorite. Would love to see green and purple. I think a medium green base with a purple interference pearl over top could be pretty cool.
I did a car about 20 years ago in dupont Lemon glow yellow with a blue pearl in the clear and it was very similar. The blue adds to yellow, didn't muddy it at all. Was yellow and sparkled blue. Loved that color, and this one is pretty close. Looks awesome!

I don't even personally have an interest in plast dip per say but as a model builder and airbrusher, i came here to see the pearls you use and candys and how you mix them. Stunning work.
I don’t normally sub to paint vids but you’ve earned my respect with the comedy at the end. Painter for 30 plus years myself. It’s not a job when you love what you’re doing.
That brings the saturation up on utility vehicle yellow. Very bright when the interference kicks in and so nice in the range of color based on angle. It's not a color I'd personally pick right off, but it is a surprise one to catch people off guard. 4/5. As for a name. Arctic Summer Aurora

Pearls are awesome paints!! I was at a car show years ago, they had painted 2 classic minis with the same pearl top coat, no idea what they used, HOC iirc. but one was dark emerald green (black base) the other they put over red base and it was lambourgini tangerinie!! It was so eye popping, I'd love to see that again 😎

What about marketing to the Off Road community and Jeeps as I have suggested before. A good thick coat of clear or color change can add protection from minor scuffs and scratches that could damage the base paint.
Have you guys tried playing with the finish of the topcoat? For example mixing a pearl in a satin clear instead of gloss? Not sure if it would work but it looks cool in my head :P

Hey Fonz, when you dip your finger in the Interference you should wear black gloves, it shows the color change really well
