Niiiiice chrome effect. Though I wonder if you're allowed to be that "reflective" in traffic... could be a bit irritating (but in a traffic jam you might be popular with narcissist around you *evil grin*)
This is crazy! How do you spray a blue pigment and end up with silver??! Then to have Greens and purples dominate on top of it. I can see why she named it imposter.
I can see why she called it Imposter! It changes and shapeshifts through every step. Final effect is a rainbow of everything we saw. I’m giving this 8.5 because the base coat seems to affect what colours come through. Anthracite had the most spectacular effects!
WOW! This is another one of those pigments that puts you in mind of metallic bismuth. Unexpected and colorful all at the same time. I like how it even worked with all the speed shape colors and made the white even look opalescent. Tracy, you hit this pigment out of the ball park and out of the state! I'd highly recommend you somehow manage that pigment and license it for the guys to include in kits. It's wicked fun and it's versatile enough to work on nearly every paint base. I've got to give this one an 8/5 because it not only exceeded expectations, but went well above and beyond in it's shine, shimmer, contrast, and versatility.
This was fun. I love small makeup and nail art shops that do amazing chromes, iridescent pearls, holos, and glitters. It's missing the orange, but for me that's awesome. 5/5. Concord base is really nice too.
One of the most impressive and unique color shift. Clearly here it show that everything's possible and it's exciting. Thanks to Tracy,👏 Big 5! Love this concept video!😉
I don't know why, but it seems so cool. Like, physically cool. Cold, even. Crisp, clean. Just a really sleek transition between colors, and I love it. 5/5
Wow! I love how that totally transformed the whole color! It appears more purples and pinks shows up on the darker bases, but the lighter golds and pearlescent colors show up on the lighter colors
NGL I had to double check my brightness and that I didn't leave the night color shift on, blink harder, make a fresh coffee pot that something didn't go wrong with the last. PURE SORCERY!! I still couldn't wrap my brain around the mixing and colors from it. Then you hit the car with it, and anthracite was the best call for highlighting what it could be. Wow! Those test shapes were all over the place, some home runs (where the hell did it get that much purple shift from?) and some meh, as it truly should be. Not every powder is for every base. You best get that locked down to carry in the store, it will serve everyone, you, her, and the customers very well. Surprise factor 5, delivered results 5, coverage, etc etc 5's. Well done
I think it's safe to say she killed it with the color mix. Definitely not what I thought the end result would look like. Reminds me of the chameleon paint I used to see on cars in the early 2000's
Yeah, I can definitely see where the imposter came from!! Lol. How those colors came from a baby blue powder is beyond me. I see where the chrome came from as well. From a distance, it seems like it has the illusion of a chrome finish to it. Well done, Tracy!!! That is amazing. You definitely picked a good base to try this out on!! I give this a 9 out of 5!!!
I think it would be a great idea for the people that send in custom colors to send in some pictures of how they use it, so we can compare that to being used on a car…
I have the new colour for my Mitsubishi Ralliart... Have always wanted an anthracite base and Tracey's Powder Room has made a trick shifter that looks 100 out of 10... if not for the trickery from jar to car!!! AWESOME
That’s crazy! I was excited about all the blues in the initial pour, and NONE of those show on finished product! Not my style, but very cool! Giving it a 4!
This turned out absolutely sick--think it was definitely the right call to use anthracite lol. Black seemed like it lost the pinks a bit into purples. Outside anthracite, think I liked red and white best for this--the white was subtle but elegant while the red seemed like it picked up greens and golds in a really cool way.
Knowing I'm not easy with ratings > Straight 5 star 🙂It's funny, I actually liked the pearl sky bluish color in the flash, and so one might expect me to be bummed that it showed zero of that in the finished product. But no. The colors it did show were bad ass 🙂 Loved that green. Also, it looked better over the anthracite than it did over any of the other color speed shapes 🙂
Amazing. I love how it goes strait from a drab green to a plum purple without the orange. Great everyday color. I could see an OEM using this on a concept or limited edition.
Lord have mercy! That's utterly INCREDIBLE!! PATENT IT, Tracy! This is the absolute last word in automotive pigments! 5 X 5!!!!! Just about made me faint....
5/5! Loved the darker colors on black base, but anthracite was definitely the way to go. Are custom makeup powders an untapped source and the future of automotive colors?!?!
Perfectly balanced shift, colours are the best shift I've seen, Jade/aqua green/blue with the pink/rose are spot on together. I absolutely love it. From mixing jar to car that was wild. Result stunning 100%. Edit: Thank you Tracy, so cool.
Usually the Anthracite base makes the colors look frosted in contrast to the black base, but this time it was reversed where the black base looked more frosted. 5000/5
I hope Traci’s watching, her submission was one of the best yet!! I ALMOST didn’t watch the speed shapes just knowing that they’d all pale in comparison but I’ve gotta say the concord did look pretty decent. Still that anthracite base just took it for a home run! Great job boys, definitely an easy 5+
Guess where i "came from". I'd been looking for inspiration on what to color hair gel with, got to nail art pigments, then epoxy mica powders and eventually DYC popped into my timeline. That was like two years ago and i think i didn't miss any episode since.
I'm envisioning a Science Fiction film where every vehicle (and other machine?) of whatever base colour is sprayed with this pigment, hinting at some future technology. One of the most spectacular dips I've seen on this channel, even if too extreme for my _personal_ taste (I'm quite restrained).
This is the total Lisa Frank pigment. It just screams unicorns and rainbows, but in a good way. It's amazing that it works over every base you throw at it, but the personality changes with every base! What an adaptable pigment!
🤯 That is just plain sick!!! You guys finally came up with the color shift I've been looking for. I have a custom body for one of my RC crawlers that I bought a couple years ago that has this exact same look. I've been in love with it from day one, and if this was available as a kit, it would be amazing to do a full scale version on my truck. 5 out of 5 fellas. I think you've found a winner. 👊
Tracy is a genius with color. If she ever decides to get into the auto color biz, she'll be amazing. I looked at the car and said out loud, "how do you get that from blue powder?" 5/5
It really is well named! Where are the blues? The golds we saw on top are subtle but damn on the car - the colours are mad! Huge shifts. Great saturation!
I very rarely comment on here, but had to for this one. I have been watching your videos for years and this is one of the best jobs I have ever seen. I’m usually a fan of blues but this imposter is absolutely stunning, and can’t wait to see what other people send in for you to spray!
I really like that colour. And it looks decent over most of the different colour bases. I think it looks the best over the black or anthracite base colours. However it also look pretty good over the white base for a hint of colour
The name "imposter" lived up. Ya thought it was going to be blue and it wasn't. That is a beautifully sick color shift. Can't wait to see what you do next week.
Very cool and unique. Definitely a head-turner. 5/5 as-is...perhaps mixed with a silver would be a cool welded titanium look. I think out of the alternate bases I liked Concord best, but anthracite was definitely the best.
You picked the perfect base for this colour. But, sincerely, just another 5. To my surprise, all of the bases actually looked pretty darn nice. The colour shifts are mind blowing. How does green turn to purple ? Where is the blue we saw as you mixed it ?
*Thoughts??*
Niiiiice chrome effect. Though I wonder if you're allowed to be that "reflective" in traffic... could be a bit irritating (but in a traffic jam you might be popular with narcissist around you *evil grin*)
loved it
Absolutely love it. She needs to get into the car game as well!
This is crazy! How do you spray a blue pigment and end up with silver??! Then to have Greens and purples dominate on top of it. I can see why she named it imposter.
Imposter was a very apt name for this...I was just as confused as you were Fonzi. But...wow!!!
Well, looks like Tracy’s Powder Room is going to get a flood of orders from paint shops now lol
That's some straight Fae Sorcery in a jar. That shift is wild.
Tracy needs to be in the automotive pigments business. That is freaking STUNNING to look at.
said the same
Well she is now!!!😅
WOW. I’d give this one a 5. It shows up better on the colored bases than some, but I think the anthracite was the best choice.
I'd give it a perfect 10 right there, it's beautiful.
I can see why she called it Imposter! It changes and shapeshifts through every step. Final effect is a rainbow of everything we saw. I’m giving this 8.5 because the base coat seems to affect what colours come through. Anthracite had the most spectacular effects!

SORCERY !! Tracey is both a Wizard and an amazing scientist!!
This makes the car look like a bismuth crystal. Very nice.
I agree. It also makes me think that the car is blushing as it drives past. Definitely adds character.
was gonna say the exact same thing!
This was fun. I love small makeup and nail art shops that do amazing chromes, iridescent pearls, holos, and glitters. It's missing the orange, but for me that's awesome. 5/5. Concord base is really nice too.
That was definitely NOT what I was expecting, but damn is it cool.
What a beautiful colour shift! It looks like oil slick puddles, with a hint of magic. 5/5 for sure!
This is GORGEOUS!! There is so much depth and chaos to it. By far my favorite.
As a multichrome makeup enthusiast, it was awesome to see you going wild over the magic ❤️
oh wow, that's really cool! the anthracite was the perfect base color for it, too.
Wow! I love how that totally transformed the whole color! It appears more purples and pinks shows up on the darker bases, but the lighter golds and pearlescent colors show up on the lighter colors

5+. It's too bad it's cloudy. If it was sunny that car would be straight up popping 🎉
Ms Tracy needs a patent and on the payroll.....tht is wicked!! Straight 5!!
pretty much said the sane
I think it's safe to say she killed it with the color mix. Definitely not what I thought the end result would look like. Reminds me of the chameleon paint I used to see on cars in the early 2000's
Scarab! What a cracking colour.
5. Anthracite is most often my favorite. Tracy should do her nails and shoes and make an AD photo with this car…
End result reminds me of a shiny beetle. Looks awesome.
I'm not gonna lie. I absolutely 💯 LOVE this. It shouldn't work from what I witnessed in your mixing of it, but it's BRILLIANT!! Absolute PERFECTION!!!
That is 100% chromatic cotton candy. Amazing. 🔥🔥🔥
I love how it goes from looking like carnival cotton candy to looking like a really hot exhaust pipe/metal. 5/5 for sure!
Now THAT os one feast for the eyes. Absolutely worthy of being added to the catalogue.
YES!!! 5 - Tracy! Amazing!
With the first sweep of the sprayer I knew this was going to be insane. I was still blown away. Wow! 😍
2:37 lol at first I thought Gabe was just seeing his reflection in there, but wow he was right!
When the titanium exhaust tip wasn't enough...
Titanium has way more blue though. This looks more like an oil slick
Holy God of Pigments!!! ❤❤ that is the best colours I have ever seen !!!! Tracy needs an award for that freaky powder
I think it would be a great idea for the people that send in custom colors to send in some pictures of how they use it, so we can compare that to being used on a car…
The only words that will come are wow, that's definitely a solid 5. I'm so glad it was done over anthracite base. Over black was stunning, too. ❤
Wow, that's insane! Thank You Tracy! You're a creative genius. Anthracite was the best choice, black a damn close second. A solid 5/5.
HOLY CRAP! That is absolutely NUTZ!
Definitely a 5+! The dramatic shifting is awesome and creates some beautiful color tones.
Tracey did an outstanding job making this powder. Color changes like an oil slick. Awesome.
5/5 It's pure magic, you might call an exorcist to peel it off 😂
I have the new colour for my Mitsubishi Ralliart... Have always wanted an anthracite base and Tracey's Powder Room has made a trick shifter that looks 100 out of 10... if not for the trickery from jar to car!!! AWESOME
Awesome, 5. It reminds me of the colors of heated chrome headers.
That’s crazy! I was excited about all the blues in the initial pour, and NONE of those show on finished product! Not my style, but very cool! Giving it a 4!
100 w are so dumbfounded! 😂 love the chameleon transformation of the colors!
damn.. you need to put him/her on the staff or just license that powder.. that is one of the better ones that we have seen on this channel
LOVE this. Million/5 over flex blue and concord. Tracy killed it with this
Good work Tracy! 5, it's a mind blowing conundrum of colors!!!

Amazing. I love how it goes strait from a drab green to a plum purple without the orange. Great everyday color. I could see an OEM using this on a concept or limited edition.
6/5 Easily one of my new favorites. I love these.
Fonzi: "What the ff......?" 😂
Love it....5/5
Lord have mercy! That's utterly INCREDIBLE!! PATENT IT, Tracy! This is the absolute last word in automotive pigments! 5 X 5!!!!! Just about made me faint....
Bonkers……!!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯 straight 5 out 5….. nice one Tracy 👍👍👍
Wow! The colors POP! 🍾 None of those lazy hypershift transformations, it know what colors to present and it delivers.
10 of 10. Great job Tracey.
That is a high five all the way. I love it. Tracy should consider marketing it..
That's a Mardi Gras shift: purple, gold and green. Very cool! 👍
5/5 looks fantastic. Anthracite and Black are the best bases for this in my opinion.
Usually the Anthracite base makes the colors look frosted in contrast to the black base, but this time it was reversed where the black base looked more frosted. 5000/5
Wow...someone needs to hire Tracy. That was just nuts. Big 5.
You guys are going to have to figure that one out because it looks great on everything. 5 definitely
I would have to say 15 out of 5!!!! Those Shifts are off the hook/wall/charts!! Let Tracy Know she be having something wild, and MAKE MORE!!!!.
5 for sure!! One of the brightest, sharpest powders yet!!
Wow amazing. That's a 5. One of the best shifts I've seen.
Dude definite 5 on this one you guys need to hire that one
From a blue powder to those green/pink/gold colours, crazy and beautiful Tracy’s a colour witch (in the nicest possible sense) #5
10/10. These episodes based off makeup products are amazing. Potentially a huge, untapped resource?
Guess where i "came from". I'd been looking for inspiration on what to color hair gel with, got to nail art pigments, then epoxy mica powders and eventually DYC popped into my timeline. That was like two years ago and i think i didn't miss any episode since.

Well damn that's the first mix that i can remember looking good on every color! Friggin amazing over anthracite!
Stunning! Props to Tracy's Powder Room 🎉
That color matches the car perfectly
WHERE IS THE BLUE? How does this happen, anyway, love the color and glad you all finally did Anthracite!
Tracy is a genius with color. If she ever decides to get into the auto color biz, she'll be amazing. I looked at the car and said out loud, "how do you get that from blue powder?" 5/5
That is absolutely amazing! 5 out of 5 for sure. The colour shift for that is something you would not believe if you didn't see it.
It really is well named! Where are the blues? The golds we saw on top are subtle but damn on the car - the colours are mad! Huge shifts. Great saturation!
You guys should hire this person. Absolutely beautiful.
I very rarely comment on here, but had to for this one. I have been watching your videos for years and this is one of the best jobs I have ever seen. I’m usually a fan of blues but this imposter is absolutely stunning, and can’t wait to see what other people send in for you to spray!
5 stunning! One of the top 3 I’ve seen you guys do! Chapeau Tracy!
every angle i see something new. i cant stop saying "wow"
I really like that colour. And it looks decent over most of the different colour bases. I think it looks the best over the black or anthracite base colours. However it also look pretty good over the white base for a hint of colour
Definitely love the color. If it has the durability, it should become a permanent addition
Would also imagine she is going to get some orders for that now. You all might get some orders for her blend too...
DUDES!!!!!! That was unbelievable!!! 5/5 And y'all might need to collaborate with her more!!!!
That is a 5 out of 5 but it needs just a little blue in it... Tracy you hit this one out of the park girl
Outstanding who wood have imagined the color that u got am stund I give it a 5 I wood like to see Tracy send a few more
6. Has to be my favorite so far. You should hire her to create for you, love it
The name "imposter" lived up. Ya thought it was going to be blue and it wasn't. That is a beautifully sick color shift. Can't wait to see what you do next week.

I actually was impressed with that. Like to see it over some different bases
Oh my this is otherworldly!
That color would look absolutely phenomenal with the same base color but a lighter base color painted as a design with the magic shift on top
