When mixing, I said to myself, “bro just accidentally made the ever sought after rose gold” And are my eyes deceiving me or is that a blue tone in the shadows? Love it!
It's interesting how much the mixture changed at each stage. Silver at first mix, getting reddish after a more thorough mix, and then setting up pink on the car. Now I know how to make a pearlescent pink my wife likes because she really liked this.
I’m sure there is a reason you use a black base with most of the cars, but I wonder why you don’t use a white base? Thanks. By the way this wasn’t my favorite.
@@baddogdax69It's because a black base brings the colors out and let's them pop. Where a white base tends to hide the colors, and you end up with what basically looks like a dirty white car.

Assuming, by the way you said it, that 1 is 'love it' and 5 is 'hate it', I would have to go into negative numbers. That is easily one of the most beautiful results ever on your channel. Who woulda thought I would like a car in a champagne dusty rose. STUNNING!
With it being solid pearls and not a pigment blend, the separation of colors in the close up makes it look amazing. Can tell the Lava and orange took over with the Gold.
I bet, for a true rose gold, along with red and gold you need the green and silver to tone them down. Red in general is a powerful color and takes over anything it's in, so having all those other colors to cool it down and thin it out probably lends itself well to this color. Love the peachy highlights and violet shadows!
I always love how this channel radiates productive “fuck it we ball” energy. No actual planning, just messing around to see what happens and turning it into something artistic and productive.
4.5 - Looks like a metallic mauve color. Nice metal flake shimmer in the close up shots. It was quite fascinating how it looked like pewter when stirring with just the stick, but as soon as the dispersion blade came into play, it changed to a rose gold viewed from the side, but then the overhead camera made it look like a somewhat violet metallic sludge. Also, I had to laugh just a bit when Fonzie had the "carbon lava" on his finger... I thought it looked like Cheetos dust. 😂
Definite 5/5 (if not more - it's SO. ELEGANT)! Silver & gold, Lilac & Rose... it's literally the visual version of 'sugar & spice, with everything nice' 😆 A perfect combo, and I imagine that it would be VERY popular with the ladies, as its very chic and has a 'timeless classic' kinda vibe to it.
from afar its like a true annealed copper, was not expecting that at all and this is probably the coolest color on a car ive seen. getting a true copper is so difficult with any color matching, for it to just happen to turn out that way is insane. 5/5
I imagine how that would look like with a red, orange or yellow undercoat to tweak the color to a good copper. Then theres green too. I'd like to experiment like these guys do, it's refreshing to see. Somehow the color makes me happy.
I love the boldness that you guys have. Where you guys call a manufacture and ask "What if we do this?" and they tell you NOT to do that....and your like "Well...I know what we're going to do now!". So many happy "accidents" have happened that way on the channel. This pink champangne looks great on this car. 5/5 😊
It actually came out pretty cool. I thought it was going to be a holographic color with all that gray but once the other colors got fully mixed in it made it a really pretty color.
When the immersion blender hit it it definitely turned into a rose gold metallic but like you I wasn't sure how that would translate on the vehicle once it was sprayed and dried but holy cow did I gasp when I saw the car! Rose gold perfection! Need to remember this mix.
Maybe add another half-packet or so of the orange and you'd probably nail the rose-gold; as it is, the blue and some of the green is probably what was giving it that lavender shadow.
