The X5 M competition adds 17 hp more with a track mode, than the X5 M. It’s no difference, I’ve owned both models.

There are three lines on the bmw X5 gear selector. What do they?

To change the speed of the transmission shifting. Setting 1 shifts quickly, setting 3 holds the gears longer before shifting to bring up the RPMs for super quick speeds. I have my X5M set on 2.
