Anybody remember when there was only like 5000 subs. Its amazing to see the groth he has endured over the years. Able to teach everyone about not only animals and reptiles. But the conservation issue all over the world. I would love to see him have a full length television series. My hats off to the entire crew of Brave Wilderness. Just wanted to say thank you for the channel and all the hard work you have putinto the episodes.
I remember taking a field trip in 5th grade to Ano Nuevo back in 1987 when I was 10. It was fantastic seeing them all on the beach. Best field trip ever.
This is one of my favorite videos. I remember in middle school I had to study an animal and I chose a pinniped. That became one of my favorite animals to this day- the Harbor Seal. I love aquatic animals and I hope to help aquatic life in the future.
I have so much respect and thankful for naturalists, environmentalists, and conservationists who work so hard to preserve our planet and for future generations. I thank you🙏❤️

These are juvenile seals in and around about a few years of age. The trunk-like growth doesn't start forming until the males reach sexual maturity hat average at three , close to four years. However, it doesn't reach it's full size until seven , or nine years of age. Even if a few males here are of three years it either just barely had started or the are close but have not reached sexual maturity.

Not quite the same as an elephant's "trunk" per se, but it's where they get their name.
