I own a 2020 kia soul lx base model since August 2019... It has almost 27,000 miles on it! I love love love love love love love love love this great little car!
Just picked up a certified pre-owned 2021 EX with 9,000 miles on it for $17.7k. Loving it. Quiet ride, fun to drive, tons of hauling capacity, has a bit of a lux feel, tech is great, great for 4 occupants.
Thank you for doing such a detailed review of the 2020 Soul S. I think I've watched every video and read every article about old and new Souls over the past few months and no one else has focused on the S and its included added technology features. Your review has tipped the scale for me. Definitely the S. Sadly, it won't be until later this year, but I've done my homework and the Soul S easily wins for what I'm looking for in the $20K range. (btw, I'm 65 yrs old and have ONLY owned smallish sports cars my whole life so this will be a major change for me.)
I have to say that after reviewing the S, like you I didn't see the need to move "up" to another trim level. Its a cool little car with loads of utility and it still gets looks and thumbs up everywhere. Thanks for watching and for your great feedback!
I have my LX for over a month now with the 6 speed manual and no engine shutoff features. I been calculating about 36 mpg combined at fuel pump visits which is more than advertised. I also find this car fun yet simple, and it doesn't even feel like a base model cheap car. Kia has come really far
I'm in the market for a compact vehicle, and this is definitely on my shortlist. Kia did a really good job at making the exterior look more refined for the 2020 models.
I agree. They did an evolutionary design to an already successful shape. The small details of the differences standout to a degree but not so much that it detracts for the overall new design theme. There's no doubt why this is one other best selling vehicles. Thanks for watching!
I highly recommend that you purchase this great little car! Great new resigned engine and spacious room in the trunk! Take my word for it you will not be disappointed!
Thanks for the video. Does it beep / give an audible warning when there is a car in the blind spot and blinker is on? If not, which model has that feature? Thanks in advance.
The 2020 Kia Soul trim levels that include blind spot warning as standard are the S, X line, and EX. It will give you an audible warning if there is a car in your blind spot and your turn signal has been activated in the direction of the vehicle in the blind spot Thanks for watching
Yes. There is a welcome sound that can be turned on or off in the drivers instrument cluster under user settings by using the mode select button and the up/down arrows on the right side of the steering wheel. Thanks for watching!
I see more and more couples in their 50's and 60's puttering around in these things . cheaper than ravs, crvs but still higher off the ground than sedans and offers similar utility to some degree .
Tell them, its got safety and technology and it's reliable. Also let him know the LX trim is a good value and the insurance cost should be fairly low. Thanks for watching!

Have had my 2020 lx for 4 weeks now. We love it. Getting 35 mpg using the engine shut off feature.
That's great to hear...its a really cool and fun little car!

That's the edition I'm looking at. Now the big decision ....in Sparkling silver or Gravity Grey?
Good choice either way! There's lot's of value and fun packed into this "small" SUV/Car
@@TwoGuysandaRide UPDATE : I should be picking up the "S" model in Sparkling Silver next week. :D
Awesome! We'd love to see a picture of it if you care to share.
@@TwoGuysandaRide Will do. :)
I'm kinda interested in one myself.

@@TwoGuysandaRide Thanks guys!
Thanks for the video! Does this model play a little music when you turn the car on and off?
We're looking into that for you...stay tuned

That’s true. It’s a small vehicle that’s easy to live with. Thanks for watching
I'm trying to convince my parents to get me a Kia Soul Base LX model for my 16th birthday. Any advice?

@@TwoGuysandaRide Thankyou!😁
The whatever good luck
Thanks guys! I now know where things are!

Are the only backseat cup holders in the door? Or does that middle seat area pull down as well like in most cars?
Just the doors on this trim level. Thanks for watching
Thank you!
Mine has oil consumption issues. Be aware!
Oh wow. That’s not good. Thanks for watching
That loud clicking engine sounds like a Model T from back in the 1920's
Loud injectors. Thanks for watching
So you say. Maybe.
Whatever the case, it shouldn't be happening -- especially on a new car.
It's a very bad sign. Buyer beware!
G Man ok.
"Below 30 it's very peppy" ....lol...OK, that's enough : )
Just telling the truth
@@TwoGuysandaRide
Well, of course.
But, there is the truth. The whole truth. And then there's nothing but the truth.
