    If you reheat the factory adhesive on the doors it will seal the plastic again without having to use tape

    So far, i have covered the entire area under the carpet on my 06. Made a huge difference. Youd have to yell at your passenger on the highway before. Also r series speakers all around on 125watts. Keep it up!

      I'll make sure to let Eimantas know. Who knows of he ends up wanting to do it then we will post a video on it as well.

    Well done guys. I may have to try this with the amazon basics noise deadener. Thanks

      It truly makes the difference. Good luck!

    Wipe the surface with a degreaser or water/alcohol mix to assure proper adhesion and you won't need much or any heat

      It was cold when we were doing it and I wanted to make sure we got maximum adhesion, will keep that in mind though

    What’s the wheel setup on this?? Wheel spacers and all

    • @lowballgarage
      @lowballgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Back then they were innovits, 19x9.5 and offset was either +35 or 33. Now they are ESR 19x9.5 +35 or 33 can't remember. No spacers were used.

    Geez Ik this video is old but the little pieces of killmat really don’t do anything. Big chunks work far better

    • @lowballgarage
      @lowballgarage  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn't matter what size chunks you put onto the panels. All you're doing is essentially thickening the panels and isolating resonance on larger sections of thin metal. Look up the technology behind kilmat before commenting stupid shit

      @BC_CARS 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@lowballgarage I trust resonix and 5star more. The surface area does matter. No need to be so aggressive

    • @alexw9347
      @alexw9347 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @BC_CARS of course the surface area matters but your saying that the small pieces don't do anything which is completely wrong. Sound deadening follows the law of diminishing returns and so the smaller pieces actually do a lot more "work" than the larger pieces when you compare the surface area to the "work" that the sound deadening "produces".

      Trust who you want, in the end its just butyl which accomplishes the same thing

      What's exactly overkill about it? The sound difference is unreal
