    This is the best demo of an accord with a CANBUS ELD setup (the alternator bullshit you cannot bypass)... I'd be interested in a closeup of the big 3, did he just wire straight to battery and bypass the 'battery sensor' in the black plastic on the positive terminal? Thank you for the content... I am looking into an auto shop with a Hondata that can disable my ELD, I will probably just end up running my headlights to charge my system.
    Do you have any feedback or closer videos? Doing big 3, 2nd battery small 2000 watt rms goal, but again, god damn alternator limiting and power system kinks are making me nervous. I will go through your content, If there isn't a video and this guy is still around, it would be nice to hear if he has feedback on the electrical system. Thank you for this at least.

    • @furrychewbacca7
      @furrychewbacca7 ปีที่แล้ว

      He explained it quick in the video. The can bus voltage sensor in these cars can be tricked by the headlights. By default when the low beam headlights are active the alternator is always putting out full voltage. So if you want your voltage to be high in these cars you either bypass the canbus sensor (which requires some wiring) or just turn the headlights on everytime you drive. You'll lose some overhead amperage but your voltage will be solid wherever the voltage regular is set.

      Jean Castio just installed a 12” Rockford Fosgate with a mids and mono amp about a month ago. After about 20+ hours of running wires directly to my speakers, taking apart doors, different compartments, etc, (basically completing the system) I go to drive my car and a strong low frequency constantly plays from the sub. I’m absolutely frustrated and have no idea as I’ve been trying to troubleshoot it for hours. Right before I call it quits for the night, I remember the good old ANC🤦🏽‍♂️. Disconnect that and boom. Back in business. A 5 minute problem solved in 3 hours, we live and we learn lol.

      @@ronaldredlerjr3411 so im assuming you have a 9th gen accord. So on the negative side of battery you will see the black box there is a ground going to it connected to it with a nut. You need to relocate that ground wire to the front where you would normally tighten the terminal with. Doing that you can not put that terminal back on the battery just zip tie it to the side. Then you will need to add a new terminal to the negative side to complete your big 3. Hopefully you understand its really easy.

    • @robmd3851
      @robmd3851 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it gets faster when you add weight, it counters the effect of gravity and inertia. .... All the high end Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche go for as much weight as possible in their car to make it go faster.

    • @3Pedal_Accord
      @3Pedal_Accord 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rob MD I’d have to disagree with you on that. The fastest cars look to cut weight, remove any unneeded weight, and do everything possible to get to it’s lightest weight. More weight = more resistance which leads to the engine working harder to reach a certain output level compared to if the car had less weight. In other words the fastest runners are slim, the fastest planes are small, and the fastest mammal looks like it barely eats. And for Ethan (10 months later), a Honda Accord only pushes around 185-230 hp. Adding about 50+ pounds won’t necessarily decrease the speed, rather you’d feel the back end of the car dip down slightly

      E-mail User I read a very long forum by a man that’s supposed to be the “ELD Master” and basically he gave up on it because he was running like 1500 watts on stock alt so he just said he didn’t need it. I have a voltage monitor in my car and honestly the alt kicks off for about one second every once in a while (only when idle, it stays on when driving) and then kicks right back on so, I’m not sure this bypass would even be needed? Granted I always have climate control on so that could factor into the reasoning, but I’m similar to the eld master and won’t be running much more than 1500 watts rms

      Thanks Jordan. I plan on running about 2500 watts, so I may be in some borderline gray area where I might need it and I might not. I guess I will just have to do the install first, and then see. By the way, I think I read the same forum thread you're referring to. The 'ELD Master' was able to find a solution to his model year car, but no one has really come up with a fix for later models. At any rate, thanks for responding.

      E-mail User ofc man. I mean I know I’m far from an “electricity expert” but I mean all were really needing as a high voltage correct? Like this video says, by Turning on the headlights you get max output (14.4 volts). Anyway what I’m trying to say is I feel like the eld is restricting voltage and not current, so if we’re at max voltage were at max amperage, but I mean I could be wrong. So if I was correct then a HO alt would be putting out max voltage (most of the time) therefore max amperage.

    not really that impressed when the entire trunk is no longer usable because of a large rectangle taking up the space right in the middle. customized space solutions would've been better.

    Not bad but mine is running better. I have a 13 accord factory head unit with lc7i. From that it goes to an arc audio for mids and highs, a hugonics zeus 3200 subamp powering 3 type r 12s. Mids ad highs 6.5in memphis component set mcx60c in the doors and infinity 6.5 coaxials in the rear tray.

      I can guarantee you this car is significantly louder and cleaner than sounding than what you just described. I am willing to be my own ball sack on that.

    • @inaminute6238
      @inaminute6238 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@furrychewbacca7just adding more speakers or a larger sub doesn't mean it sounds cleaner. I have the same factory head unit and if you look inside the car it is hard to notice anything is different from the factory. The only area that doesn't look normal is the trunk. He has extra batteries and an unusable trunk. My amps and are under the trunk liner and the sub box is above it. I have almost half a usable trunk while he has barely anything. Oh and to top it off I went through the trunk and sound deadened the heck out of it. So good luck to him with his car living. When you do things the right way things won't fall off or break.

    • @furrychewbacca7
      @furrychewbacca7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @In a Minute you do realize it was a trunk facing 4 10 setup before right? I hate to tell you this man but your equipment is not great. Memphis is a best buy brand that sells crap audio, hifonics is Chinese crap that 90% of the time doesn't do rated power. And in case you didn't even watch the video his setup is using a beefy 15 ok a true 4k amp and his mids are rockford p2 mids.. like all of that equipment is significantly better than what you named.. his setup is also sealed forward which effects the trunk zero and produces CONSIDERABLY less rattle in the car then a sub back, port back trunk setup. Just the way you describe shit makes it pretty obvious you don't really know what you're doing and most likely had someone at electronic express do your install lol

    • @inaminute6238
      @inaminute6238 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@furrychewbacca7 the equipment I have definitely isn't from some two bit best buy style shop. Yes I know the hifonics isn't the best but I can also guarantee I spent about half as much money on equipment as he did. The three alpine type r subs that I have aren't just designed for spl like his single sub and enclosure are. Oh and just to let you know crescendo amps aren't top notch either. Most of their stuff comes from Asia or low quality countries also. Almost every company has their low end equipment but the memphis I have aren't your normal low priced speakers. His set up is nice but there is now so much of the car that is unusable. The doors now are missing the storage space. Also my car still has an accessible and usable spare tire. If space didn't matter then his set up is good but to a normal person it is unusable

    • @furrychewbacca7
      @furrychewbacca7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @In a Minute yeah I get where you're coming from but dog. I promise you the stuff he has in his car would get louder and sound clearer than your equipment. Coming on here and saying yours is better is literally so dumb cuz from what you described it's not. He obviously doesn't need the extra space lol I have the same car with the same type of setup and I definitely don't miss the trunk. I have the entire back seat. And I don't have a spare tire regardless as I used that space for something else. Also the Crescendo amps he has are all South Korean half bridge amps. The new stuff they make is worse than the old stuff cuz they moved their symphony line out to Chinese manufacturing. But his amps are about as good as it gets in terms of South Korean half bridge amp tech goes. The only thing better than that style of amp is the Sundown SALT series. But you would have to sell the car you're putting it in just to afford one.
