Sorry I didn't end up having the chance to completely remake this one! Schedule's been really packed, and I don't want to end up hiding this away forever, so I just fixed the part that got it blocked and brought it back up. It's pretty boring, but I hope you enjoy :)
Weird question can I know what edditing tool you used? Mine make my voice sound like vrap when I am uploading. Also came from your haye for chinese comics vidéo and am happy to see that in 3 months your channel boomed
I began reading the manga months ago and dropped it. I dropped it after one of the major hidden details I picked up on was unveiled and I just knew that I had to stop reading to enjoy the story animated. The story rewards paying attention to and remembering the small details and it's much easier for the animators to slip in and hide those details in an animation vs on a manga panel.
This story is really greatly build around small details, and it's extremely rewarding to notice them, make assumptions, and then when the plot twist happens to say "I knew it!". But also, this story shines even more when you re watch it a second time. You know what will happen, and pay attention to other details that was pointing on this all the time, and it really starts to come up and make sense. Really looking forward to the next season to see how pieces come together
I can't wait to see the next part adapted, I can't think of any other piece of media where the actual answers to the mysteries are that interesting and satisfying. I hope J.J. Abrams watches it and realizes how wrong he was about mystery boxes.
I belive the satisfiing partt is that you are not poked into the face with secrets of the seting. On other hand, if you familiar with janre, a lot of details are prety much expected. It is just fun to see that characterrs are not dumb and are not played with cardboard cutouts.
I recently watched your video on cultivation novels and i can't express enough how relatable and entertaining it was. However, I'd love a video about the REALLY GOOD, LIKE ( REALLY REALLY REALLY PEAK LEVEL GOOD ) cultivation novels that exist, some examples are Lotm, Reverend Insanity, ISSTH, Ze Tian Ji etc. These novels are so good in my opinion they're one of the best pieces of literature ever written for entertainment and truly deserve more attention.
To say this anime reignited my love and adoration for anime would be an understatement. I watched it a few months after it released, and after the first watch I read the entire manga out of obsession and curiosity with how the story would continue. Since then I’ve filled watched it through 5 more times and even bought the Blu Ray disc to see it in better quality. Every single time I’ve watched this anime I’ve found something new I didn’t notice before, and being caught up with the manga, there are things that happen in some of the earliest chapters of the manga/anime that have finally been fully explained, it’s crazy how well thought out the entire series. I am praying for a second season because this is genuinely one of my favorite anime’s I’ve ever watched
Such a brilliant show. I found myself essentially rewatching every previous episode after watching each new one as it aired. It's just as you explained: every shot is so dense and intentional yet you don't even know what you're being shown until several episodes down the line. We need a new season to be announced already!
When I clicked on this video I immediately clicked of to go watch the anime and returned once I finished it and I got to say it's one of my favourites Please let there be a season 2!
Bro, I’m not gonna lie if this video was an hour long would still watch it I love people talking about heavenly delusion and the way you make your videos is fucking amazing
Is it possible that "Heaven" is somewhere with less gravity or rotation "emulating" gravity with centripedal force? The former would be consistent with the flight time of the ball, the descent of the teen to the ground without injury, and the teen catching the ball in flight.
Thank you for the recommendation. I'll add this to the list. If you have more please share. Media treating us like one digit iq is frustrating. Even if i don't get everything i don't want some a-hole telling me everything. Subbed.
Great quality vids by the way. It's just you don't use the speech phonetics that other creators use to retain attention that you are having a hard time. Tho i appreciate the calm narration.
(Spoilers for end of S1) - - - I guarantee that Maru is Tokio's child. I know it may seem obvious, but like I have to say this somewhere. I realized it when Dr Usami commited suicide (because we saw that owl button he had). I can't check the episode right now to remember why I thought this, but I just know its true. It's obvious that the two halves are taking place at seperate times with how they escape the facility. Also I love how Mimihime is looking at the same spot the "angel" will show up at when the anime starts.
(Spoiler) - - - - - - - - Another detail about it, the word Maru in Japanese means "something round". And in a scene with Tokyo's child and the twin doctor marks one of them with a circle on a foot before they got shuffled...
Eh, I think most of this is because the anime has only shown a few chapters, it will probably reveal these things more explicitly later on (after the anime ends)
Watching Heavenly Delusion was such an experience and I feel like many people skipped it. When I ask about it, folks just say ‘Oh, you mean Hell’s Paradise’😭 Like, no! I’m talking about the anime with the two weird kids, the mysterious and creepy orphanage, the man eating monsters and the gender-bent protagonist goddamnit!
I watched it with my best friend some months ago. It's very good, great mystery, great characters, great plot. But season 1 ends in the middle of the action so you don't get any answer. Guess i'll have to read the manga.
weeell. I love stories that capitalize on the fanatical tendency to theorize things based on very obscure details. Very few stories ever do this but you can recognize them on how lobotomized the fandom sounds if the chapters episodes come late. For example made in abyss. But what i love most about heavenly delusion is its not afraid to touch on some heavy and strange themes for reference consider episode eleven. Truly a masterpiece worth reccomending
Man this video is literally speaking to me, my first favourite anime is dr stone cause of the science, emotional beats. Heavenly delusion isn’t far behind being my second favourite but barely, I’m also probably among the 600 people who craves a 2nd season by the same director. Anyways great vid!
Recently watched the first season. Definitely a great watch. Fantastic mystery. Have so many theories for the rest of the series. This is kinda the new Attack on Titan for me, feels like that kind of attention to detail. Also a great watch right now: Isekai shikkaku. It's the new Cautious Hero, just this time Depressed Hero, which means a generic isekai with an exceptional main character, making them very funny. I kinda love it.
The Streets - Dry Your Eyes is some of the brutalest songs ever recorded. Because the radio edit shortens it in a way that clears out the implication, of the breakup happening because he's temperamental and kinda obtuse, maybe violent. Reframing the radio edit, the censored version, to be more about pity party for him, and not understanding why the breakup happened. So in this "safe" radio edit world, we have violent people not confronting their faults.
I overall like the video but I take issue with how you keep referring to the details as things only “smart” people would notice or keep harping on about intelligence in general because I don’t think you need to be “smart” to notice these details but rather invested. I feel the way you frame it does the anime a disservice because you don’t have to be “smart”, you have to care! What makes the anime special to me is that the answers are there if you look for them. If you take the time , invest and look, the show leaves these hints and moments to connect. A “smart” person if not invested can just as easily miss the shot with the gun's missing battery or the buttons (to use your own examples) and a “dumb” person who is heavily invested and wants to know and is looking for the answers can and will find them. The way you speak of intelligence just feels like you're alienating people from something so carefully and masterfully crafted :( If you’re combing through something frame by frame that doesn’t make you smart or dumb and I really dislike how you equate effort and investment with intelligence. I don’t mean this to say I disagree with your points only the way you framed them and did enjoy the video in spite of this
I've heard of and scene this anime but i've never actually watched it's clearly a hidden gem and i'm gonna watch it with a friend now thanks Btw You should definitely adapt your light novel i myself am working on a my own light novel it's nice to see you're going for it(pls pick me, lol)
Not gonna lie every time I see one of your videos I wish they were longer (I realize I'm probably in the minority but still you do good work would love more)
I at first thought when the brother began with his backstory, I thought he might explain that he was a transman, I didn't expect what happened afterwards though. This series is crazy and I'll be more than happy to get a season 2. Please, Japan it's so good.
Thank you for lead. It is 2 :00 I have watched it in full. It will be really sad if it will have no continuation. It is a really good anime, but I will get nightmares after it.
I don't think they're fans of the anime so much as the greater franchise. It likely held a significant enough role in their early lives that parting with it would have been a negative experience. I don't think I've heard of any adult fans that don't have nostalgia as a large part of their basis for loving Pokémon
@@samuek607 makes sense, nostalgia plays a huge role when it comes to entertainment fruition, maybe I wasn't a child enough to experience it now, or maybe I was never meant to seek "reassurance", in fiction, or Higurashi (that I discovered when I was over 30) wouldn't still be my favourite anime, though I was recently able to revisit with pleasure (not even a guilty one) series such as Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, Orange Road or Creamy Mami, catching the adult implications hidden in plain sight that weren't as evident when I was younger
I don't like lite novels but given that I enjoy 8/10 of your vids I'll probably read a manga if you make it. Side note: I do not recommend basing a character off of me unless you're going to go have fairly dark undertones, my professional history has been military and first responder work and my personal history is about what you'd expect from someone who can lose a paitent and make a joke an hour later. If you are going for a relatively dark tone than don't make assumptions there are enough people who have lived through some stuff and get irritated by how much people get wrong.
The one thing I can say with absolute certainty that you're 1000% wrong about is is I'd definitely watch a 30 minute video of you gushing/ranting/rambling about any subject; but that's besides the point, you've sold me on watching this anime now!
"Hell girl" is actually a she! a bit spoiler but after where the anime ended, in manga(same chapter that happened) she had a coming out moment about herself and accepting as who she is as not the brother or the sister!
not gonna lie, i follow few anime page and none of them talk about this everyone just talk about dungeon meshi, oshi no, and elusive samurai, hell i didnt even know this anime existed until i watch this vid and apparently this anime is from last season
On the point of the intro. Pokemon having a character explaining things is not because it's a kids show. It's because Pokemon is a game show and thus needs someone to explain the rules and machanisms of the game. This is also something needed in scientific shows as without the insight of the smart character explaining to the dumb characters it becomes hard to follow. Now Heavinly delusion doesn't have this because it's a mystery. There is no one to explain what is going on because the characters themselves have no clue of what hell is going on. They are looking for answers and thus are only getting the info little by little as they get closer to the truth.
Your a bit overblowing the Stories Merits. Specificly if you know what happens in the Manga. Its a common phenomena that happens constantly too. Stories over every Age of Humans, the type where you thought something giga brained is happening but its mostly coming merely from your own imagination or the speculation of others. The Author,Storyteller,Creator Ends up not standing up to these Expectations the Consumer enjoyed most, the Questions. Those you speculated together or on your own and not necesserly the things planned by the Writer. Thats why some of the Best stories are those that are careful with what Questions they actually answer or atleast attempt to. The Consumer inevitably creates false Narratives with their hopes and Expectations and it tends to create the same issue no matter how unrefined or refined the Narrative might look. Let my Name not distract you that i did indeed enjoy the Anime's Journey... mostly . Still good Video as usual
