Nirmal Purja "Nimsdai" MBE is a multiple world records holder Nepalese mountaineer. Before taking on a career in mountaineering, he served with the British Armed Forces as a Gurkha, and in the Special Forces. Purja is notable for having climbed all 14 of Earth's eight-thousanders in the 6 months and 6 days. He was also the first to reach the summits of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu in 48 hours. In 2021, Purja, along with a team of nine other Nepalese mountaineers, completed the first-ever winter ascent of Pakistan's K2, the second-highest mountain in the world.

Back handed comment to the western world/ European countries at the end of his documentary. Was a fan until his ego got the best of him! Reinhold Messier the Mountaineering Legend’s response was very interesting choice of words. Did Reinhold act like a sick after Summiting without oxygen, I bet not. Poor choice of words for a new legend!
