This guy climbed an 8000m mountain in a day with a hangover.
The team that achieved project possible need more coverage and respect and I hope that the Netflix documentary helps.
I remember watching 90 minute documentaries about K2 where they obviously portray the danger to be higher, and the fact that the vast majority of attempts are in the summer, as most Winter’s it’s too dangerous. Then I saw 14 peaks which casually included Nims K2 ascent (that bit couldn’t have been longer than 10mins)and I don’t think it even mentioned that was the first ever Winter ascent lol.
@@sighfly2928 Thats because it was not done during the winter. He did the winter ascent 1 year after the 14 peaks

I think about that a lot. Every time when I feel like shit and need to do something hard I think to myself "Nims climbed Kanchenjunga in one day while hungover, I can do this [much easier task]"

@@adambukhari8512 no, he did not as confirmed by himself in his social media updates.... Specifically addressed that it was a NO O2 ascent. Now it is for individual to believe or not. He has also released a video showing he is summiting without O2 mask.

Watched 14 peaks. Truly inspirational. I went to Goechela trek which is the best trek of my life till now and have no experience in mountaineering. But I can only imagine how fit one must be to do mountaineering, that too at this world class level like Nirmal Purja. Sherpas are always the root of all successful expeditions and the world should know about them as they are the real heroes.
