How does 1080p content look on this 1440p monitor ? Is it better to watch 1080p content on 1080 monitor ? Or 1440p monitor shows 1080p videos pixelating , unclear edges ?
For all the justified flak that Dell gets for their products and support, their monitors tend to be pretty good - and reliable purchases. I've listed this as I can't quite justify yet another monitor right now, but this or maybe a U3222 with 4k if it exists would be great.
Hi, I'm just deciding to buy a monitor for photo work, I'm quite interested in Dell, I've just found two similar models, I just don't know what the difference is ...
Dell P2722HE Professional 27 "LCD monitor
Dell P2722H Professional 27 "LCD monitor
what's the difference ?
The E model has an Ethernet port
@@AlbertLeungKYI even found another version of the 27 "Dell E2722HS Essential please don't know what the difference is? Thank you very much!
I wonder if this monitor will handle charging new macbook pro that has 140W charger included.
Good question! Will give updates if I lay hands on one.
@@AlbertLeungKY great! Thank you!
Hi I would like to ask is Dell U2422H good for editing videos, photoshop, and moba games (league of legend)?
Hey Feng I always prefer a 27 inch screen cause I like big screen but if your desk space is limited I'd say 24 is pretty good too. It comes down to price, size, and refresh rate.
@@AlbertLeungKY big thanks to you bro
can anybody confirm that this monitor does not rotate left-right on its stand? in the review it has been said that is doesn't, but the images on the Dell website say otherwise...
It does LOL
What!! the new Ultrasharp changes its stand I love their previous stand it's much more slick looking and look kinda like apple pro stand. 😭
Yeah! Much prefer the sleek rectangular stand
How about the u2723qe then? ;)
put this on a monitor arm and its fabulous pal
do you know if the U2722D USB-C port can charge the Macbook Air M1?
Yes it can!
@@AlbertLeungKYstop giving wrong info. 2722D usb c is data only. 2722DE can charge.
I bought this monitor but after an initial connection that seemed to recognize my macbook, the usb-c to usb-a cable connection only gives me a "no signal found" message. I'm forced to use HDMI since my macbook does not have usb-c, only thunderbolt. Getting a "no signal" error using usb-c seems to be a common thing. Anyone else get this?
What song is that in the beginning?
Great video bro, sub from me! Just got this monitor today, its a good buy. Could I ask what settings you're running on yours for best color etc.?
Thanks Jonas! I used a spider X to celebrate the monitor when I got it. I find it shifted a little to the warm side so I would recommend put in a little blue and lower the contrast
@@AlbertLeungKY Thank you, good to know! ✌🏼
What nas do you use?
Synology’s DS920
Avoid this monitor if you are using macos , fonts are not clear, they are kind of blurry , fuzzy . Go with some other monitor with 4k res.
Your review is on point, I am in the market for a new monitor and 60W just bother me so much
Thank you! Hope you find a monitor that fits you
It`s far from perfect. The black looks like chrome, panel uniformity is not great. Build quality is bad, part of the front is a bit loose, as i saw in other reviews as well. Menu is hard to know what is the calibrated mode, colors look off.
I clicked because i want to watch the monitor not you LOL
please shoot more on the monitor
This or Asus pro art pa27ac?
It could be a one off issue, but the one pro art monitor I used had really bad bad quality and the joystick broke within the first month
wtf, it's not even 4K.. and appears to be the exact same price as the 4K U2720Q. Am I missing something?
2720Q is well over $1000 compared to this $700?
@@AlbertLeungKY maybe it’s more expensive in your country, but they are about $50 - $80 price in Difference over here. It’s always good to buy sell monitors not actually from Dell, third party vendors seem to be able bring the price way down. Problem is none of them seem to stock this 22DE, at least over here.
@@AlbertLeungKY sell = Dell (auto correct) and it’s definitely not over $1000 it’s like $800 max.
@@Bamwich oh yeah maybe $1000 in Canadian, sorry for the confusion. I personally don’t need 4K and find my computer pushing too hard at 4K
useless conversation! it would be better to tell about the monitor itself and its color reproduction, whether it is suitable for design or not.
Nice
Most Dell monitors are terribly shiny and generate alot of reflections. Do wish they could start using matt surface technology.
4k is perfect
I thought so too, but realized QHD is plenty for 27 inch
잘 보고갑니다.
Lol for $370 I had to buy it 😂

Your review is terrible .
You did not even once try to measure the brightness / color gamut or accuracy of the monitor .
You did not even try to check the backlight bleed .
You didn't even compare the monitor to any other similar screens like laptops .
All you did is just read through the specs sheet and marketing blurbs and blindly pass it without verifying it with tests .
A lot of useless speaking
