does the key immobilizer work with Hondata currently have oem key and am getting flashing green key (immobilizer warning) on 05 RSX type S. Will this help?
A few things first. Your light is flashing because your immobilizer is disabled. Your current key is not matched to your Hondata ECU so that's why is flashing. If you buy this key you can just cut the key and program the unlock and lock buttons and be all set. If you want the green light to go away you'll have to take your key or this key to the Acura dealership to have them program the immobilizer to your Hondata ECU.

He sells the radio part on his website, and i dont think the keys work with the dc5r cause on the page it says base model and type s only although it might, id say text him on instagram or email them on the website

All the buttons work correctly. Lock/Unlock/Panic Alarm. In this video, I am only showing how to program the remote which I explained to use specific buttons to program it. That doesn't mean that's the only button that works. All the buttons will work once it's programmed correctly 👍🏻
hi. not sure if you still have this question, but the key fob itself is very similar to most all Honda key fobs from the years 2003-2012. This one does not come with the trunk button, as the DC5 does not have an electronic hatchback open/close. If you were planning to buy a 2006 civic si key to be cut to your rsx ignition, it will not work.

it should work they all have the same kind of security system i dont see why it won’t

All this does is replace your stock acura remote. Whatever system you have in place, stays intact.
What about type s with a wing keychain 😏
Type S never came with a high wing from factory, and it would take away from the Type R tag. for marketing reasons, It will not happen.

If your stock key, is able to turn on your car...All the keys have the immobilazer chip in them.
