I have had the same problem. I just wasn’t programming the remote properly. Which there are a plethora of videos on how to do properly.

Hello, I have a 2005 Mazda Rx8 and I have the same problem, the doors won't open with the remote control. It was all since they changed the air evaporator. Could that be the problem???????

l just took battery out blew into it..replaced battery used small screwdriver to softly push batterysides in to hold battery and ensure better connection..
Works again.
But had to reprogramme key to car.

If you are using a keychain led light, try turning it off. The interference could block your remote's signal

So if all power is good, and fuses are good the receiver is bad? I’ve tried for hours programming no luck, idk if it matters my radio is aftermarket.

Doesnt matter if aftermarket radio. The radio security system on stock is just for the radio not the car security system

My issue is, my car is locked. The key fob somehow unprogrammed itself from my car, now it's stuck 🤦🏼
