He is the best when it comes to class and professionalism when it comes to concerts and live
This show, I remember it vividly, when it aired, I thought was Sinatra at his absolute peak. Wow.
Do you remember when this was aired.?
@@Sinatra1915 Yes, '64 I believe.
@@LazlosPlane Okay, thank you for telling me the date of this masterpiece that was done by Frank Sinatra. I am very interested in Frank Sinatra and other jazz artists that I know of. Again, thank you for telling me.
Frank was magical
Frank Sinatra at the pinnacle of his musical abilities in the mid 60's singing a Cahn and Van Heusen standard written just for him with Nelson Riddle, his greatest orchestrator conducting the band and Sinatra wearing a perfectly tailored shawl collared tuxedo; it really dosen't get any better than that.
MrImiller07 total perfection!
His music never gets old.
I agree.
Thanks for putting this on, because it is almost impossible to find a live version of this song on TH-cam. The Voice lives on.
i want music like this everywhere
Frank was always in great form for his TV shows in the '60s.
I find it so amazing how he remembered all of the lyrics of the songs that he sang.
I will fly with him anywhere
Classic song.
i love you frank.
One take, live, so alive! Thanks for sharing your style Frank... timeless. No special effects or leapin' about. So this is a singer, singing a song. Go figure?
So much fun to watch
I would loved to have lived in that era.
You are my inspiration Frank! Your da best ever!
GENIOUS...LOVE HIM...FROM BRAZIL..
Genious! The voice ! Amaizing !
This is absolutely lifted right from the original show. I remember watching it as a kid and was so impressed by it. My parents were fans of Sinatra and that whole era of classic swing-jazz, so it's a part of me to this day. Wish I could find a copy of the whole show. If anyone knows where I could buy a DVD of it, let me know....
It's available in most digital mediums... just look up "Sinatra: A Man and His Music"
Thanks for your response and trying to help me. That's very kind of you. I have seen it on TH-cam, but am having trouble finding it on DVD. I have an old VHS of it that I recorded from a PBS special. I'll continue to try Amazon, etc.... Again - thanks!
I swear to god, i always listen to Frank while I'm cooking and even the food turns out to be so damn delicious.
Also, this is real music people. Look at the elegance, the amazing beautiful orchestra and that voice. "Artists" today look like a bunch of hobos with face tattoos, it's ridiculous.
I absolutely agree with you on the orchestras back then, they did look grand and elegant. It's a shame this kind of music has been shrouded in unpopularity ever since Rock Music became into existence. I did not mind early rock such The Beatles and Chuck Berry, but later rock became terrible and brung up even more kinds of music such as pop, soul, western and many other kinds of music, which were also terribe. I say it drastically changed in the late 1960's as there were starting to be any other kinds of rock such as Pop Rock and Hard Rock or in the early 1970's when Disco came into play and changed the world for the worst. I have gotten extremely bored of hearing the same kind of music over again. Always rock, always pop, always soul, and I hope you understand my point. I have only been able to listen to classic music by using TH-cam. It is not only music, but is also books and art pieces. For example, I like Vincent Van Gogh's art pieces, but I do not like Pablo Picasso's art pieces, but it is also the same with books, for example, I like William Shakespeare, but I am not a big fan of Roald Dahl.
This world has been ruined by selfish people who are only doing music, books, and art pieces for money, nothing else but greed is coming out of these of 'famous' celebrities that are loved by millions of people all over the world.
And yes, I am proud of today's technology and people occupations for the world, but I think it has gone to far and people have to turn themselves around and think common sense about the people who do not like their music genre and do other kinds of music. There is unfortunately no way to change time and bring classic music. Our world has been in a state of crisis ever since the 1970's for music, art and books.
Please, nobody take offense to my comment, it is just my opinion and I hope some people agree with my statement.
@@scorpionz01 It's nice to see that someone agrees with me.
can't help but smile :)

Francis, you are missed.
...Rhino's the best, Man. Thanx
Only 73,512 views? I think TH-cam stopped counting cause it didn't want all the other videos to be jealous.

this was an excellent period in American music! Luckily Michael Buble is doing his best to keep this style alive. I absolutely love it!
can no one read that the rap videos on the side are part of the march madness 2011 playlist and the suggestions are below them... most insult that music for being unintelligent yet they cant simply read thats the true shame.. none the less sinatra is a legend!
A beautiful skid fly with in your deepest soul. this for you Selena Gomez. ps .CooL

Music has gone right to hell today. This is what music should be like.
+Dr.Pingas pingas They are good examples of not real music.
Ring a ding ding chickie baby!:D
@@TheCliffandPhilShow The MeTwoers would be triggered by saying that. They wouldn't have survived the 60s.
I very much agree with you. I absolutely despise the music that is around today. I wish I could turn back time so I can listen to this kind of music more often and could watch it live on stage than watching on my TV screen on TH-cam.
Top Suggestions: Black and Yellow, Jay-Z, Waka Flocka, and T.I.
O_o
Soon frankie my partner and I will fly with you 💞🙏🇵🇭
When the final history of the world is written (even if it comes next Friday with the Mayan apolcolypse), Frank Sinatra will be remembered as "The King of Pop" (and not that stupid guy from Gary-he wasn't even the most famous American with the name Jackson). Because he INVENTED pop culture.
in llama land theres a man who can toot his flute for you? a time when a few words can sum up lots ,be humorous and inviting for travel and maybe a little ambiguous?
I couldn't do it my way Frank. Is yours okay?
Mines Frank Castle from the Punisher series

THIS TO WIZ KHALIFA DA FUQ!
I can't believe this record won the 1967 record of the year Grammy over The Beatles' Revolver!!!! Really how is it that Sinatra won this award for singing the same way for the previous 20 years of his career? Besides he'd won a year earlier too for a record that sounds just the same like this one. Anyway who gives a crap for the grammys? Zero respect and credibility. Now time has given Revolver the status it deserves for being a groundbreaking record.
When were the beatles famous did they have any top 10 lps
I have heard some of there songs they always sound like they're whining to me
@@frankmuta2227 I don't get it, what do you mean?
