Also, the carefree way he flicks at his cigarette after “I get no kick in a plane,” the ironic look up, the innocent exasperation on “nothing to do,” and clever pose at the end. We get the boost, but Mr. Sinatra winks, daring us to love him. Who can resist?

Spontaneity is lovingly allowed with all its rough and pointy edges. It all clicks, even when he seems to nearly fall out of the song from laughing.

Good song one my late Dad used to hum sometimes when showering plants in his garden. It has been about half a Century I had not heard it but it is still good to hear.
