it's not fair to mark it down because not having Yorkshire tea you're not in Yorkshire. Take a tea bag with you and only mark the food and service. You can't have Yorkshire tea everywhere you go.

That my friend is NOT a Welsh breakfast, a traditional Welsh breakfast has all the usual of the English but what makes it different is the fried cockles and laverbread (seaweed) which is also fried or can be eaten cold with the breakfast, come on McMaster! Youve let the team down you need to come down to South Wales and try a proper Welsh breakfast, I promise you the cockles and laverbread taste great fried my friend! 😮😊

Im Celtic and Welsh. We're still about. Problem with North wales we a have a south walian government so it looks after South Wales first.
We also have a problem of over tourism and second homes. If you went to Caernarfon, parts of the llyn peninsula, parts of Anglsey and the fringes of Snowdon you would more than likely hear no English.
I'm from a snowdonian family and where we are from its now second homes and airBNB. Its been hollowed out and has turned into a safari park or theme park for rich people.
I should also say the Welsh language you will hear in South Wales is very different to North walian Welsh.
North walian is more grammatically correct with less English sounding words.

This is the problem, in Wales and Scotland. There are too many English, and they get to vote in referendums. You are meeting English, because the Welsh are 'generally' introverted. I am Welsh, so I know. Remember, it's a generalisation.
As I've said before, the Scots are much more open and friendly, and the English are 'generally', borish, & this is often reported on in holiday destinations all over Europe. They should ask if you want herbs on your eggs. I don't think those toms were cooked enough myself. 😁😎

Her pronunciation of Y Felinheli is correct, except for the Y. It's as Uh (accompanied by the roll of the eyes) in English.
By the looks of it, Y Felinheli has become gentrified. Understandably. It's not surprising you didn't encounter any Welsh - the English have moved in and outnumber us. I'd suggest going round the pubs of Caernarfon to meet Cofi Welsh.

May be just your accent Lee but you keep saying Welch not Welsh - Eden may have to smuggle Yorkshire Tea in over the border or wait until Sean Bean films something there and he can load his boot full when he as at his real day job ha ha ha
The North was a hot bed of Welsh Nationalism in the 70's - burning holiday homes etc. They did.t want English folk to move in and take the place over which from what you say has happened. I know a lot of people from Liverpool retired or moved there when they were priced out of moving to the Wirral - had loads of holidays there as a kid and its a lovely place when the weather is right you can get a great holiday there. I think there was a time when the North was the place where the Welsh language was spoken a lot but I understand that with partial independence and the growth of the influence of the Senedd Welsh ( as it is also taught in all schools ) is now widely spoken. Nice place - lets face it Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny bought Wrexham FC so it clearly has something going for it.
ps - you probably can only get Liptons tea in Wrexham now though ha ha ha

Hiya Lee, me again, ok so to answer your question about the south and north hating each other, it’s completely true! Don’t trust any of those north walian Goggs! (Gogleth means North in Welsh) I’m from the south just north of Cardiff. Originally from the mining valley of Aberdare now living in Pontyclun. Of course I jest, there’s no hate, just a bit of banter. I’ve got some good friends up there. Pity they all sound like scousers though 🤣🤣….controversial!!
Ok so the brekkie. I’d have thought a proper Welsh brekkie would have cockles and lava bread but to be honest who wants fishy rubber bits and seaweed for breakfast? No, I’d much rather have what you had! So much so I’m off to Tesco to get some bits for a fry up. Those mushrooms didn’t look too good though.
And TOMATOES! Those abominations shouldn’t be anywhere near any plate of food 🤣🤣 you can’t even form a breakwater with anything as the juice seeps under and into everything!
Right I’m gonna go fry some bread! Speak later!

Tea should of been excellent, Twinnings English Breakfast is the best there is, proper tea unlike the overated mass marketed Yorkshire Tea which is an average brand like Tetley's, PG Tips etc, trouble is Lee you keep putting your milk in first so it's hard to judge the strength and that tea looked far too milky for me, the worst way people ruin their tea is putting sugar in it 🤮🤮 At least you don't do that!! Hi should have been 9.5 at the least, you shouldn't mark it down because of the Brand of Tea, i go there now and again and my daughter s etc, i i did a lot of ground work across the bridge past the hotel in the early 80s,, and there was a great cafe near the pub on the front further along through the estate that wasn't built till 2000 ish, as you turn off the main road to go to s wellies there used to be a great pub called the halfway House now flats and housing sad

Noswaith da that breakfast looks awesome it's a 10 from me I prefer chopped tomatoes as well on a breakfast. There's a really good butcher's in Conwy it's called Edwards of Conwy the sausages are really good they never shrink when you cook them same goes for their burgers as well diloch

You don't need to go far from here to meet proper welsh people. head west to the beautiful Lynn Peninsular, somewhere like Morfa Nefyn or Aberdaron. Lots of proud Welsh people there, beautiful beaches, sceenery and even a world famous pub on the beach that you can't drive to (the Ty Coch). Gwens chippy in Morfa is well worth a visit

You have to have potato of some sort with a breakfast. Little Chef used to do sauté potato’s which I could never work out how they were cooked without browning, delicious on an Olympic breakfast with mini-donuts and chocolate sauce before getting back on the road. 😎
