DRIVING From North - South Wales in an ELECTRIC CAR to PROVE That an ALL EV FUTURE by 2030 IS A HOAX

  • Sales of new Petrol and Diesel Cars are to be banned by 2030 and all cars are to be Electric and have zero emissions. However The MacMaster takes a drive from North Wales to South Wales in his EV Electric Vehicle to Prove that this is not possible as the technology and Infrastructure is not ready and probably never will be as Battery technology is still very antiquated. It simply can not work and surely has to be some kind of hoax. Get in the passenger seat of my Porsche Taycan All Electric Car and take a drive from North Wales to Cardiff in South Wales to expose the 2030 EV Mandate Hoax.

Also we have had problems with house chargers tripping out because they think the voltage is too high 🤷‍♂️people get up in the morning and their Cars are not charged 🤣🤣🤣this is defo not the future not just the charge points but the main cables can’t cope and to say this new thing of charging of a lamppost 🤣🤣🤣the cables supplying them are not big enough the government has not a clue!!!!!!!

      I am not a electrician and I even know that the grid is out of date and won't cope. What everyone forgets when they think EV's will be fine and won't crash the grid is its not just EV cars that need electricity as buses, trains, trams, commercial vehicles, offices, factories and workshops, boats, restaurants homes, shops, hospitals and other things that require electric power only by 2030 will also be on the grid. You only have to look at China to see what mass electrical use does as they have to counteract the rise in electrical use with coal fired power stations.

      Actually let the people who wish to adopt the battery powered carts do so. Just don’t force everyone down that road. It should be market driven not government driven. ICE Cars today are not high emitters of carbon and as time progresses could be even lower with specially blended fuels. Don’t know how the greenies managed to get such a foot hold of the government to pass this stupid law of no new ICE cars sale in the future.

    If it is a all electric future won’t need speed cameras because they will restrict all cars to 70mph and cars will know speed limits of all roads and physical won’t let you go over the max speed limit. All about control especially with electric cars however some traditional fuel cars aren’t so far behind either.

    Hi, please emphasis that this problem of no charging points in Wales is a policy of the “Welsh Government” This is a devolved matter, the Welsh Government have stayed that no more roads will be built, road tolls are to be introduced, more speed cameras, which is also a cash cow for the Welsh Government, 20 mph speed limits being introduced throughout Wales! "You should have planned your journey" is a false argument used by EVangelists. When do I have to plan my journey if I'm using ICE? If I'm on dregs when I leave home I'll have a choice of five fuel stations- each with multiple pumps- (that I can think of) from one end of my town to the other and I'll have a full tank in less than 3 minutes. I can guarantee I'll pass numerous filling stations on every long journey I do and never have to spend ages planning the filling stops (if needed) of waiting hours to fuel my car.

    'Speed cameras' have very little to do with speed. They are primarily a source of income for the government, no matter how they choose to portray it. One of their reasons is that they 'save lives'. If there is a section of road that is an accident blackspot, then they should be spending money on regrading that section to make it less of a blackspot, not putting up a speed camera to capture people speeding. However, spending money on fixing a section of road doesn't generate any income, whereas a speed camera generates a continuous flow of income.

      As of July this year, all new cars sold in Europe must be fitted with a speed limiter (ISA). It basically means that you won't be able to break the speed limit for more than a few seconds, until the ISA kicks it. It uses sign recognition and GPS speed to work.

    What was the problem here? Everything seemed to go really well. You started your journey with enough charge to get to Swansea or Cardiff, where they have fast chargers. You complained that there were no chargers en route, but you didn’t need them. Then, you found a whole bank of Tesla chargers en route that were available and working. If you had charged to 80% instead of 100%, you would have spent much less time charging, because the last 20% takes much longer.

    It is nothing to do with been environmentally friendly. Nothing to do with just cutting back on the combustion engine. It has everything thing to do with taking the common " person " of the roads. They do not want the ordinary person been able to move around independently . If one thing has been learned from the last couple of years during lock down is we are all been taken for a ride ,the amount of roads been dug up and relayed with miles and miles of bus and bike lanes. That kind of planning doesn't just pop up overnight it must be planned possibly years in advance. Strange it all happened when we had the least number of cars moving about during stay at home lock down. I know controversial , conspiracy theory . But if it doesn't ring bells then nothing will. Still prefer tinned plum toms on a fry up though 😆

Just saying.

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's the big problem with EVs. Too many "charge rules" and variables that need to be met for optimal use. Here in North America, we have MASSIVE distances thru MASSIVE boonies where not much happens. EVs are ok and the cars do what they were meant to do. Charging infrastructure is a Joke.

    • @hunchanchoc8418
      @hunchanchoc8418 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The MASSIVE draw from the grid in order to charge an EV at that rate also causes big logistical problems. The 'solution' is for such chargers themselves to have an internal battery which only gets charged at a more moderate rate. But that means the battery is empty when the next EV pulls up to do an ultra-rapid charge after the first car has departed. The 'solution' to this is for the chargers to have TWO internal batteries... And so on... So we have to mine even more Lithium and Cobalt and Nickel for the chargers as well as the cars... La la land.

    No problem with other EV users using Superchargers.
    Over time it would be great if other EV manufacturers standardised on the charge port at the rear-left, then each car charging would only occupy one charging bay.
    Supercharger network will triple in size …
    Your car would charge faster if you pre-heated the battery. If my battery is low on charge , say 5-8%, I get 170kW charging speeds.
    Your Taycan should charge at nearly 270kW on Ionity 350 chargers, provided they have the maximum 500A current delivery enabled.

    We know this is entertainment. I have my Harley Davidson in my garage so I am by no means an EV zealot but have had my EV for exactly a month! Today I left my home deep in the New Forest facing a 300 mile drive up to North Yorkshire. I started out with 250 miles of free electricity in the car all from solar power. I stopped near Warwick for a coffee break and drove straight in a space at an Instavolt charger where I took a 30 minute break and spent £15 on the charge. I reached my Hotel with about a hundred miles of range left towards my return tomorrow and will do so with none of the stress that the poor MacMaters suffers on every journey. Ok I have only a months experience but with 1400 miles on the clock its been a breeze. If you are rushing around the UK like a travelling salesman or always having tight deadlines then places stick to anything with an ICE. And not everyone who owns and drives an EV is some kind of cult member. i got mine for lots of reasons other than looking to save polar bears😂😂

Over 30 years I have owned every type of Merc AMG's and a range of other performance cars and loved them all including trips around the Nurburgring. The point is its ridiculous too just condemn one type of car in this case the EV as being a total disaster. I knew exactly what I was buying by doing my research and not just relying on some who could return his £120k leased Porsche back to the leasing company and do a fish and chips vlog👍Hey Ho. This is my experience too. Charging at home always works fine. It gives me up to 300 miles of range and my longest regular return trip is only 100 miles. I have done a couple of return trips of 300-400 miles and charged quickly without needing to queue. On top of that, the car is quiet and beautiful to drive.

    Great video, I think the problem is that the people who buy an EV have been convinced that they are doing the right thing, rather than accepting they have been conned out of a lot of money through ignorance and propaganda by corporate and global entities. The very same entities who will control real fossil fuel assets when they are most needed, and therefore that increases of value of fossil fuels. The very fact that EV owners actually 'think' they are helping the environment is testament to how un-intelligent they have become. We all get conned in life sometimes, but the beauty about this particulate con-trick is convincing these people that they have'nt been conned via vanity. Yes, they are being conned and they know they been conned, but will NEVER EVER admit it. This is the pinnacle of the 'climate change' hoax. Even the 'anti-capitalist' socialists are protesting in favour of the capitalist corporations nowadays. Wow! Think about that!

      Yes I agree with most of that. They don't want to admit they've been conned so they defend their purchase. Totally understandable as nobody likes to admit they made a mistake, especially one that cost them tens of thousands of pounds.
      Personally I'll never understand why people buy new cars anyway, I bought a mint 2010 diesel Jag XF with just 54k on the clock for 7 grand two years ago, saved up, no interest payments, I own it outright and even if I scrapped it after 2 years it will still have cost me less overall than even a modest EV - and I've got a much better car than the same money would buy you new. Leasing is even worse, you never own it and are just throwing money away. It's madness, I just can't comprehend it.

    There's an excellent reason they aren't installing the vast network of charging stations that would be needed - the Ruling Class KNOWS EVs aren't going to replace ICE cars. The whole point is to deprive the Working Class of private cars. How many can afford an EV at $67,000 now, let alone as the world economy is intentionally destroyed? Did everyone notice how the price of ICE cars has skyrocketed, particularly used cars? An old car with 190,000 in my area is going for $8,000!

Total cost £75

  • @topcat807
    @topcat807 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I don't really think it matters how good the charging infrastructure is, I think that EVs will not work for most people because a lot of people don't like waiting. Unless the charge time comes down to about 3-5 minutes and range goes way up it won't work. Sometimes I fill my car up with fuel and there is always someone who takes a bit longer to put their belt on, to start the car, sort out money etc and you can always see the driver behind getting impatient just because they are made to wait 1 minute longer, so how are these people expected to wait for an hour or possibly longer if someone else is charging. It's not going to work, they need to put a stop to this nonsense and stop forcing it onto people. Allow manufacturers to make EVs and fuel cars, overtime EVs will get better and the year on year improvement Ice cars were making at getting cleaner and more efficient would continue. There would be no sole reliance on one energy source, no need for millions of charges etc.
