My zfold 3 is still kicking 💪
Samsung replaced the fold4 screen, hinge, cable, and battery after one day inner fold screen just gone blank one morning 3 weeks ago. Luckily it happened in 11th month of 24 month warranty

My fold already failed after 3 rd screen replacement
Hey Greg my fold 4 started getting it and then the outside screen started too and now it won't even turn on and boot loops. Not sure what to do because it's in great condition. I'm shocked by it even happening. Loads to Samsung screen and then restarts
My Z Fold 3 now almost 4 years old still works fine but some people don't use cases.
Just had my Fold4 replaced due to this issue again at a 2nd time. Boot loop, black screen, and you name it. Samsung care + said it was a motherboard issue again. The first time they replaced the motherboard but this time they replaced the phone.
This same exact thing just happened to my fold 4 it's so weird no damage it happened after I factory reset my phone
Hey I just want to say thank you for all the hard work and the videos you post I watch them all the time. But I have a z fold 3 and the flex cable within the phone that is on the hinge Has Broken it is a known issue with a z fold 3 and I believe z-fold for phones the Wi-Fi stops working and also so does the hotspot. Samsung so far has not acknowledged this issue. I was wondering if you've seen or heard anything about this being fixed on the later generation Z fold version phones. It really sucks since I love the phone and I was going to upgrade to the 6. Thank you for your time and input.

@GregglesTV you're very welcome but I was wondering if you've heard of any fixes for this issue with the inner Flex cable braking and making Wi-Fi and hotspot no longer work. I don't want to spend $2,000 on another phone and the same thing has happened. I am also wondering if this has been brought to your attention in the past?

The three reasons emerging as the cause of the black screen is the ribbon cable, the brushes from the sweeper becoming loose and dust, although I'm not sure how you would determine dust damaged the screen.
Anyway, Samsung probably has more damaged folds over the past 5 years than all the folds pixel, open, vivo and xiaomi sold combined. They would be inept if they didn't figure out the issue by now.

My fold 4 has started doing this after the latest update... I open my phone sometime it happens asap, sometimes it takes a few mins, then gotta soft boot my phone for it to start working again....
This sounds like the red light of death from the xbox 360.

Tbh,i have a fold4,i have it for more than an year and i never encountered this problem,let's hope i won't have it until july when i upgrade to the fold6
The problem is that it's a Fold 4. Too old and very, very poor battery life.
Being old has nothing to do with it cause I'm still using the fold 3 the only problem I had was I needed a new screen protector which I put on a Whitestone been good to go
@@cellaa70 fold 3 generally considered more durable. I had both fold 3&4 and fold 3 was miserable with battery life. Fold 4 still bad but bearable. Why torture yourself.
@@Maxx134a I'm getting ok battery life it's all about how you set it up and the reason I kept the fold 3 was cause the fold 4 was basically the same phone and the fold 5 I just thought wait for the fold 6 cause I want a bigger outer screen and better cameras now it's time for a upgrade I just hope the Fold 6 give me what I want I will never upgrade each year to me that's pointless to do just a waste of money

My Z Fold 3 started doing that. I have to turn it off and back on and most times it will work. But don't Samsung give you one free fix?
My z fold 5 looks like its leaking black ink under the screen as well as frozen. I have to switch to front screen to navigate windows. I may jave insurance but the plan is in my exes name so I cant use it. I love this phone

It happened with my z-fold 4, Got the 5 through my insurance, Now my wife's fold four Can't be used in landscape mode, The Sim only work if it's closed, Just started happening..
Fold 4 is scheissr i know through persoal experience unfortunately
