- I show you how to fix a black screen issue (front and back or one of them) on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone. So even though your screen is black or blank you know the phone is on. I give you several easy options to get your screen working again.
If you tried every step at least 7 times I'm gonna guess at least 70% of you should now have a working screen.

🎉It worked! Thank you! I have the first generation ZFold and was worried that it was just too old. After rebooting several times, it only temporarily worked. Then I did the massage technique, rebooted my phone, and then the flip screen worked! Noticed that my phone was hot, so placed phone in the freezer for just 10 minutes. ❤ Bravo 👏 🙌 👌 🎉 I'm typing this message!

this shit still happens on the fold 5? i have a fold 3 rightnow and it started to give black screens if i open the phone too quickly.. it lasted 2 years but im not getting a foldable again.

I have the fold 3, and I have tried this steps & didn't work.. I spend USD 500 to replace all of the the inner screen, only due to bad cable connection..
Samsung should fixed this problem after a 5th generation.. 😡

how mine fold 3 also but nothing goes my way, i never dropped it or do anything to damage it. it just wont turn on and idk why
@barice5813 the video explains the reason for doing these things is because a ribbon came loose after a drop. The acts are meant to push that ribbon back in its socket. If yours stopped working without a drop, then it's probably not a ribbon, and these things may not fix your issue.

Same thing and it seems the only choice is to go to a phone repair store (not sure if it's hardware or not) i hope it's not that complex that needs to buy a part or something!

I have this issue. Tried the methods and my front screen came back on eventually 2/3 weeks ago. But my bluetooth only works for music but not calls. If someone calls and my bluetooth is on the whole phone crashes. Now the main screen is dead and the front screen comes on but does not respond.
Very frustrating and expensive piece of tech.
this work for work phone ,active phone. my phone z fold 4 wok one screen not on main screen. my phone open 1/4 on main screen it on but when open all full it become to all black on big main screen.

i hjave done the steps seveal time on mine but it keeps turning off, should I take it to a authorised samsung repairer.
Nothing worked so far on my F4. Massaged it several times, after hard tapping the screen is now completely black. Before I had a small useable area.
After taking out of the freezer, the folding screen still doesn't work, and the battery went down to 1%.
Does this work for the Samsung Galaxy S21?

It's good and quickly sent to service center. 100% your LCD is malfunction and are intermittently dying off. If your warranty is over. It's is expensive to replace the LCD
I tried all of these. None of them work. My main small screen works, but when I unfold the phone more than half way, the big screen turns black. I can still hear it running, but can't see it, and now my phones over heating
I fixed mine by turning off the phone, then start up in safe mode by holding the volume up button and the power button for five seconds. Select and clear the cache. Then restart.

Worked for me on my Fold 4 but only temporarily. It goes back out randomly. The tap method on the whole phone worked for me. Taking it back to get a new one for a permanent fix.

My Z fold has black ink on the display about 2 weeks ago but samsung is refusing to repair it even though I still have guarantee. Please is there any help ? Thanks
When you buy this phone, have an extra 600-800 $ in case the screen stops working so you can fix it yourself 🥲
They will fix it for free under the manufacturer warranty if it's not physical damage. My Z Fold4 had a black ink line on the inside crease and they fix mine for free then I return it back to Samsung to upgrade to the Z Fold5. I just got my first black screen after 20 days of receiving this phone that's why I'm watching this video. The volume down and power button method just brought my phone back to life 😊

It happened to me 3 times. Today 2x. The first time was about a month ago
My flip 5 is less than a week old and encountered the black cover screen and then apps widget was blank and system IU keeps on crashing. So dissapointed and been a samsung user for years, my family are all iphone users Iam the only loyal samsung user, I hope samsung will fix this issues. I fixed the issue by doing hard reset but then didnt expect this to happen on a almost brand new phone. I hope it doesnt happen often.:(

i realised when i restart while folded, both the inner and outer screens have the samsung logo. but after booting and when i tried to open it up, the inner screen shows blank.
