lol. I saw that and I thought you were swapping price tags. It was nice of them to let you swap cases, even my local GameStop has let me do that a few times.
You pretty much have to swap Sega CD, Saturn, and early PS1 long box cases. Unfortunately, they are notoriously easy to crack, and the hinges, if not careful, can break too. Unlike normal CD cases where you can go to Walmart or Target and get replacements to make them look almost brand new, those longbox cases are pretty much non existent unless you were to raids Sega's warehouse. I am currently a very late to the game Saturn & Sega CD collector and I found several rare games recently where the cases needed to be swapped to look nice. It's really your only option if you care about original packaging.
A couple of years back I bought a Sega Genesis box o stuff from Craigslist for $100 - in it came 2 Sega Genesis consoles (one a model 1 non TMSS, one a model 2), a pair of Sega CDs (one model one with the tray, one model 2 with the lid, and the clip on addition/extension that sits under the model 1) about 15 Sega CD games, menacer lightgun, justifier lightgun, a couple six button controllers and a couple 3 button controllers, all the hookups, AND a 32x with adapter plates etc and all hookups including the Genesis 1 conversion cable for 32x. Was pretty pleased with that score!
MJR, you had to ask what Final Fight was?! C'mon, brah! Really enjoyed the info and editing in this video. I'm also extremely jealous of some of those Sega CD games.
MetalJesusRocks I hear ya. I played all of the Sierra games back in the day on my family's IBM PS/2. Final Fight was a staple in nearly every arcade I went into when I was a kid.
surprised you didn't know about Final Fight. that is one of my all time favourites, and quite a popular game over here when was out. hope you had a little game of it on the Mega-CD after the video and got to enjoy it always loved the look of Mega-CD, but i much prefer the original Megadrive and Mega-CD mk1 over the mk2 versions myself
I got into the SEGA CD on the ground floor luckily, and I still have my original top loader from '93; still works too (amazingly). I've semi-retired it to preserve it though, so I use a JVC X'Eye as my workhorse system. If you can find one, I highly recommend it. No issues playing burned games, and it has the best sound output of all SEGA Genesis/CD setups. Pricey but practical. Can't fault John Hancock's selections; but I'd add Eternal Champions, Batman Returns, Silpheed and Mortal Kombat to the list if you're starting out. Mortal Kombat gets a lot of flak for load times, but it's the best 16-bit version of the game. Enjoyed the video Metal! 🤘
I realize this was 2 years ago, but have you ever checked how much the X'Eye is to fix? Because as you mentioned, it is expensive. I would probably go the other way and retire the X'Eye since it is rare, parts may be hard to come by and it may be hard to fix and run the top-loader into the ground since they are the cheapest of all the Sega CDs, the easiest to fix, etc.
budz2355 Yeah... I was pretty surprised there wasn't even a mention of the x'eye/wondermega if only because Hancock is such a well known Sega fanatic... Whatever I suppose.
The only heavy hitters that I have on the Sega CD are Snatcher, Shining Force CD, Popful Mail, Vay, Dark Wizard, and Robo Aleste. I really wish I was collecting for it back when it came out :/
AWESOME! I am proud to say I own most of those games mentioned :) I would also have to recommend: Pitfall for Sega CD, Demolition Man, BC Racers, Slipheed and Ecco The Dolphin 1&2 (AMAZING soundtrack) Popful Mail, Soul Star, NHL 94,Sewer Shark, Tomcat Alley, and Night Trap 32X/Sega CD. There are still many, many more great games for the system. HIGHLY underrated. Nice to see the system is finally getting some respect.
Wow! Some Dark Wizard love, I've loved it since the summer of 1997 when I first played it. It's why I still have a Sega CD hooked up! It's great! (The only game I went after a second copy of)
I’m also from Redding, and when John brought up a place that rented games by the hour it brought back memories. It was like an arcade but with consoles setup. They had every console and a huge library of games. So you could sit down and play a ton of different games on consoles that you didn’t own. Good times.
The Sega CD had so much potential. I still own several of the games for that system. I gave my Snatcher copy to a friend of mine a couple of years ago; crazy how much that game goes for now.
CDX is compatible with the 32X, but there is a special 32X base you had to get to allow the CD cover to open without detaching the 32X. I believe there is even a diagram in the 32X manual that shows the different configurations.
John is always great to talk to when he comes up to Vancouver for the expo, super friendly, humble and always willing to talk about games, obscure stuff and Star Wars.
Great video. I really like John Hancock and the Mega cd too! I do have quite a few titles, including some American imports. Its just a shame that a lot of the games are very expensive nowadays.
Not sure if you've ever had a megadrive, but all you had to do was cut away some bits on the cartridge entrance and you could put Genisis games in and play them no problems. That might explain why that Panasonic thing would play all region games on cartridge
It does work with the 32x, Sega just couldn't secure fcc approval, so they said it was incompatible . The worst that happens is that the lid doesn't open all the way.
Mine wants to work with it and it tries but never gets past the Sega info screen that shows just before the game boots up (that quick 1/2 a second screen before the Sega logo) with my CDX.. Not sure what is but I have heard that some do, and some don't... Can anyone confirm this? maybe my unit is bad?
Yea, apparently not all models of the Multi Mega are compatible with the 32X. Just like some versions of the Game Gear are not compatible with the TV tuner.
I had model one...no issues with mine. The model 2 could be opened with just the button while the first one you had to use the controller with it on to open it.
@@harleymoody34 That's for complete in box. Factory sealed is a much more valuable item. EDIT: I am completely wrong, I just checked the price chart and yeah, new is $1261.
@@harleymoody34 Complete nice copies go for 1k-1.5k. A sealed copy would go for exponentially more. a few reasons: price charts doesn't take into account condition sales of sealed copies are rare and go back into the past when games were cheaper price charts often accidentally allows cibs into sold listings, I have seen it tons of times games are getting more expensive on the daily. the price can basically be decided by the seller when theres probably less than 100 sealed copies in existance. bonus-pricecharts doesn't take into account extra paperwork like warranty cards You will never see a sealed snatcher like Johns go for 1.2k I would expect 2.5k+ and due to how much this game is revered it'll sell for way more. I've sold a few grails in my time collecting and have been hit with the "buuuUUt PriCeChartS saYS tHis". Yeah, but we're collectors. You know how we are. Really, we could emulate almost every retro system and game out there, but we love having the original versions. They make our shelves pretty :-D
Hence the reason why I tell everybody to get out there right NOW and pick up PS2, XBOX, PSP, Wii and Vita games... 10 years from now we'll all be kicking ourselves if we don't....
Fun fact for Keio Flying Squadron. They actually released a demo in Europe. Crazy thing about the demo, JVC left the level select code leaving the full game accessible. It comes up on ebay from time to time for about $40. So if you have a Mega Everdrive, or a way to region free your console, you can technically have a physical copy of the game. :)

It's interesting that you (along with many others) bring this up. I mean, these are really cool buying guides from people who know what they're talking about, but when it comes to the games especially, they're like "these are games we recommend you get day one," and many of them turn out to be super expensive and/or really rare. Sure they're good but buying them right off the bat seems suggesting too much.
Unless you're a super hardcore collector who needs to be %100 original, just get custom reproductions of the super expensive games. People mock them up to look almost like the real thing, case, manual, and all. Besides, being discs, not cartridges, I would be afraid of accidentally scratching an expensive disc, just by using it. lol.
For me this is such a nostalgia ride. I myself and my friends used to play Sega Megadrive back in the day. In Europe Sega was in many cases the superior system with it's broad variety of games. But few ever owned a Mega Cd or Sega Cd. It's a obscure system with a mysterious aura. There a lot of good games though. Some day I will play Shining Force CD or the Lunar games........ Ohh and what a huge difference in graphics when comparing Road Rash on Mega Cd and Playstation. That tells a lot about how fast the tecnology improved back then...... Thanks John /Sega Fan boy

They CAN stress the lens however the damage is theoretical just on that assumption. But that is not to say that would not happen with a regular pressed CD either.
I think it also depends on the quality of the CD-R's being used. For example some cheap Verbatim disc will likely damage your lens faster than a high quality Taiyo-Yuden.
There is no evidence that substantiates that. These are myths perpetuated by people with worn out lens. The fact is lens wear out over time. It's called wear and tear. Now the quality of the disc is important in other aspects. The playback is much better on the better quality CDs but that's about it.
No, at least not generally. Ideally, a properly burned CD is supposed to read just fine in most CD drives with pickups that are in good condition, including drives used on the Sega CD considering that it only runs at realtime speed (1x). What would be more likely to happen is that there can potentially be an increased risk of disc read errors that can possibly disrupt gameplay when using inferior quality CD-Rs and/or if the disc is burned at too fast of a speed (especially if a high speed burn makes use of the zoned CLV burning strategy). Cheaper CD-Rs and/or faster burns tend to have increased incidences of BLER (block error) during reading, which may usually be compensated for by error correction. However, there is a limit to how far that can help. And, preferably, there be little to no BLER. My recommendation would be to use the highest quality media you can find and burn at the slowest speed possible. However, this is easier said than done as good quality CD-Rs are getting harder to find. For instance, someone mentioned Taiyo Yuden, which are generally made in Japan and are excellent discs. However, TY has been out of the business for a couple of years now with their technology sold to CMC Magnetics, so what's left of Japanese-made TY media is whatever you can find as new old stock. Usually, you may be able to get by okay using media made by CMC or Ritek, especially if we're talking about media that's made in Taiwan. Just burn it slow to increase the odds of recording a reliable disc. As for Verbatim, they tend to be decent enough, though their DataLife Plus line of discs are actually very good and worthy of recommendation.
The collector's market for games like "Snatcher" might not crumble. Being able to download the disc images from ROM sites and to burn them onto CD-Rs would make the games more accessible. However, original and complete copies of rare and exceptional games may still be collector's pieces and may still maintain high value.
I had a sega cd model 1 back then, you don't really need a controller to open the cd tray necessarily, if you turn it on then press the reset button, the cd tray will open, and if you push the tray with your hand it will close, another trick that I remember was to reset any game without pressing the reset button, you can just press a+b+c+start on the controller
Met Reggie and metal jesus at the PDX Retro Gaming Expo today... Reggie was way cool and friendly, apparently, jesus thinks he's the real Jesus because he could barely be bothered to acknowledge a fan telling him he liked his channel. Oh well. Got some good games so at least that part of it was worth it.
Soup or Nintendo? I didn't think so either, then I bumped into him randomly and said hi and what not and he just gave the "uh huh thanks" and walked away. Reggie struck up a conversation with me over a game he could see in my bag. Talked to him for a few minutes.
Shining Force CD is reason enough to buy a Sega CD. Add Dark Wizard and Lunar 2 and you have a must own system! This review was spot on! It was so fun to see a Master Collector like John review the Sega CD. It doesn't get much better than this.
Interesting. It's called Mega everywhere actually including Japan. Wiki says it was only called Sega CD in North America and Brazil which might be a mistake.

Sewer Shark while a decent title, but is not a recommended experience on Mega-CD. Despite it being my favorite game console of all time, but some games are just a little above it's pay-grade...because 3DO! :-) That's where you play Sewer Shark, should you want to :-)
datamanmachine I mean you could apply that statement to so many platforms, as buying games for older systems is just more difficult overall due to just more people aware of the market, alongside other reasons.
I had my SEGA CD vs 20+ years , lens still works. Bought a 2nd Sega CD a decade ago, blew the fuse on it trying to hook a universal adapter to it. Fixing the fuse on that one was pretty easy, I use that one with my Model 1 HDG Genesis.
He probably also doesn't know anything about music. I can promise you that his "metalhead" title comes from almost exclusively listening to the most popular metal bands that play arenas, and bands that are 30 to 40 years old. Just like every single other video game nerd I have known that calls themselves a metalhead. That's just a pet peeve of mine, like dude, you're hardly a metalhead. Anyway, that's besides the point.
Confused.... Seems like the intent is to show games that people should buy for the Sega CD, but a high majority of these games are wayyyyyyyy out of normal peoples' price ranges. This video comes off as more of a "showoff" video, than actually recommendations that people can afford and what's actually fun to play. Kind of a shame. However, I have to say that I enjoy the videos and what you do MJ.
+single banana actually I don't consider price at all in these guides, because for many collectors they just want to know what is GOOD and they can add them one at a time
MetalJesusRocks but you say "games you should pick up Day 1" a few times in your video... If that's the case then if people plan buying the system, they should show up with a large briefcase of cash. Not a reflection on you, since it seems you're not familiar with a good amount of these games and most likely also the prices. However, there are only a few games on this list under $100. Just a friendly suggestion to be a little more open to GOOD, cheaper titles, because this just comes off as a Hancock Show & Tell of expensive games, not a good games list. Again, love what you do and appreciate the videos.
If you're after an episode showing the good and cheap Sega CD games, then this video isn't going to help. I guess MJR could have included some decent cheap ones like "Sega Classic Arcade Collection", "Road Avenger" and "Thunderhawk". Taking the price into account could be difficult. What would he base this off? Using Ebay as an example, "Space Channel 5" is usually £8 - £20. Someone was selling a Buy It Now copy for £5 and I brought it straight away. Another example being "Viewtiful Joe" on GameCube. On average, a £15 game. I myself found it in a second hand shop for £2. The point is, do "Space Channel 5" and "Viewtiful Joe" count as expensive games? While those aren't the most expensive games games out there, if your are patient, then you can get some good deals.
While you have a point, I feel like retro gaming in general is no longer a cheap hobby, your wallet is going to be hurting either way. Collecting for things like the Mega/SEGA CD, Saturn, PC Engine, NES etc is just crazy now. If you didn't start collecting early 2000's I think it's too late to join the party now, unless you have and are willing to drop stupid amounts of money on games. Better off collecting for ps2, psp,ps3, og xbox and 360, that stuff is dirt cheap right now, it wont be in a few years I bet.
The region thing: cartridges (more of than not) were region free. The mega drive checks the cartridge for the region. The Mega CD region is part of its bios, so if the disc doesn’t match the bios, it won’t boot. There are ways around this (ever drive can boot different region bios files etc) and you can get region free bios chips.

I do games ya lets talk about stealing ! Your all so cool ! Steal steal steal ! You should have been arrested
🤣🤣
MJR, you had to ask what Final Fight was?! C'mon, brah!
Really enjoyed the info and editing in this video. I'm also extremely jealous of some of those Sega CD games.
I don't really play many 2D brawlers or fighters... They didn't really come out on PC back in the 90s.
MetalJesusRocks I hear ya. I played all of the Sierra games back in the day on my family's IBM PS/2. Final Fight was a staple in nearly every arcade I went into when I was a kid.
MetalJesusRocks dont have a sega cd yet but u got me back in to collecting for psone and gameboy
MongolianCh0p I remember playing Bad Street Brawler CGA style for DOS. It was awful
He also asked where he was at the beginning of the video, and I'm pretty sure he actually sort of knew.
surprised you didn't know about Final Fight.
that is one of my all time favourites, and quite a popular game over here when was out.
hope you had a little game of it on the Mega-CD after the video and got to enjoy it
always loved the look of Mega-CD, but i much prefer the original Megadrive and Mega-CD mk1 over the mk2 versions myself
I had a model 2 top loader back in the day, one friend of mine had the model 1 tray loader, then my other friend had a CDX.
JVC x'eye?
Was just gonna say this. Not even a mention?!?
budz2355 Yeah... I was pretty surprised there wasn't even a mention of the x'eye/wondermega if only because Hancock is such a well known Sega fanatic... Whatever I suppose.
I still have my original x'eye! works great still. I was saddened by no mention
It's the most reliable Sega CD too, and can also use the 32x, you just have to make some adjustments to get it on lol
@@ZEROthefirst Eh. I'd put a Model 2 up t here with the X'eye.
The only heavy hitters that I have on the Sega CD are Snatcher, Shining Force CD, Popful Mail, Vay, Dark Wizard, and Robo Aleste. I really wish I was collecting for it back when it came out :/
I loved my Sega CD when I was a kid, Lunar: The Silver Star and Vay were great RPGs!
That's a really cool Altered Beast hat.
kthanxie dig it
I had a JVC X-eye and loved it. The oldest game I still own is Vay. Sega CD introduced me to Working Designs games and I loved all those back then.
"Lords of Thunder....and rock n' roll!!!"
Great Kiss reference!!!
Road Avenger
Soulstar
Wolfchild
Sol-Feace
AH3 Thunderstrike

Aaaaalllllleeeeeeeeeeeexxxx!!!!
Good times.
what about the jvc xeye that's a BIG one missing
Nice pick with Dark Wizard. That game is great and also has a spectacular soundtrack with separate themes for each character.
Awww, no love for the JVC X-Eye?
i know thats qwhat i was saying look at my comments lol
i love jvc xeye
That thing is the bomb...hard to find tho.
The Sega CD had so much potential. I still own several of the games for that system. I gave my Snatcher copy to a friend of mine a couple of years ago; crazy how much that game goes for now.
Love the long videos, you should do more longer ones.
My friday videos are usually longer like this. The tuesday videos are Bonus.
You forgot the JVC X'Eye. The best SegaCD and the best Sega Genesis console ever... at the same time !!
Lunar, Dark Wizard, Snatcher, Shining Force... I did not expect such things from this man.
Did you ever have the JVC X'Eye? It was the same thing and idea as the CD-X, but was bigger.
I like how Metal Jesus asks all these questions acting like he doesn’t already know the answer and details of the Sega CD
I had the Multi Mega and my 32X was working perfectly with it.
My CDX works perfectly with the 32X!
I would start by cleaning the connector on the 32X. Have you tried the unit on another system to see if it works there?
Yea, apparently not all models of the Multi Mega are compatible with the 32X. Just like some versions of the Game Gear are not compatible with the TV tuner.
Thank you for this guide. Just added 3 repros to my collection
Road Rash was so much better on the 3D0. great game
I had model one...no issues with mine. The model 2 could be opened with just the button while the first one you had to use the controller with it on to open it.
holy shit... a SEALED copy of SNATCHER?
would easily go for 10k today
@@kelley2098 as of today on pricecharting.com a sealed copy is $1261 so not even close to 10k
@@harleymoody34 That's for complete in box. Factory sealed is a much more valuable item.
EDIT: I am completely wrong, I just checked the price chart and yeah, new is $1261.
@@METATRONmusic I mean that's still a lot though
@@harleymoody34 Complete nice copies go for 1k-1.5k. A sealed copy would go for exponentially more.
a few reasons:
price charts doesn't take into account condition
sales of sealed copies are rare and go back into the past when games were cheaper
price charts often accidentally allows cibs into sold listings, I have seen it tons of times
games are getting more expensive on the daily.
the price can basically be decided by the seller when theres probably less than 100 sealed copies in existance.
bonus-pricecharts doesn't take into account extra paperwork like warranty cards
You will never see a sealed snatcher like Johns go for 1.2k I would expect 2.5k+ and due to how much this game is revered it'll sell for way more.
I've sold a few grails in my time collecting and have been hit with the "buuuUUt PriCeChartS saYS tHis". Its just not the case, they are worth more, I end up selling them for way more than price charts value. For example Bucky O' hare NES fully CIB mint pricecharts says 495 CAD I sold it for 1400 CAD with all the paperwork
@19:14 The roadrash .99 cent sticker is actually NHL 98 for SEGA that is a gamestop-EB SKU 922172
Eternal Champions and Flashback were good SegaCD games too.
starsiegeplayer I could never get into flashback
I just had the model 2 genesis/model 2 cd/32x set up myself. Friend of mine in school had the CDX. But I guess I had the last laugh as my set up lasted longer.
These buying guide videos you do are some of the best, entertaining and informative on TH-cam Mr Jesus. I can watch them all through over and over!
....And rampantly search on eBay as you go through it all!
Oh, and warning to new collectors: A Keio Flying Squadron sells on eBay for about $1100-$1200, so maybe expect to leave that one off your lists.
Or...you could emulate it... until it's released on a virtual console or game compilation.
MetalJesusRocks Agreed, especially about the Vita.
I just joined your channel. I love the info you have to share. Ever hear of the mega cd karaoke add on. I got stories to tell. I saw SOA start up in the SF Bay area. Big building. Even Electronic Arts. 3 to 4 guys, in a business park Foster City Ca. Working on old 486 computers.
Sega CD buying guide. Step 1) Sell your house. You'll need the money.
sadly too true lol
sadly too true lol
It's interesting that you (along with many others) bring this up. I mean, these are really cool buying guides from people who know what they're talking about, but when it comes to the games especially, they're like "these are games we recommend you get day one," and many of them turn out to be super expensive and/or really rare. Sure they're good but buying them right off the bat seems suggesting too much.
Unless you're a super hardcore collector who needs to be %100 original, just get custom reproductions of the super expensive games. People mock them up to look almost like the real thing, case, manual, and all.
Besides, being discs, not cartridges, I would be afraid of accidentally scratching an expensive disc, just by using it. lol.
Step 2) Find a copy of Snatcher.
The way John smiles cracks me up.
you forgot about the JVC X'EYE..
That altered beast hat is super cool!
I can't tell half the time if metal Jesus is intentionally asking the basic questions for the crowd or it's because he genuinely doesn't know
For me this is such a nostalgia ride.
Thanks John
/Sega Fan boy
Would love to see a Sega Saturn buying guide.
Funny you should mention that... ;)
MetalJesusRocks Oh?! ^-^
I remember playing Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. One of the favorites of mine of all time
Third World War was one of my favorites for the system.
Hey a very good friend of mine is also from redding California. I'm all the way in uk but I love your videos. Nothing like sega to bring back my childhood. Thanks guys.
My 32x works fine with my cdx
Rewatching this for the first time in years. The thing I like most is the long-shots of the hardware. TH-camrs of 2022, take note - it's OK to keep focused on a still for longer than two seconds. It's easier than us hitting pause to get a better look and it makes editing easier for you as well.
No JVC X'Eye (WonderMega) love?
When it comes to Sega CD games, the ones I'd include on that list are:
Silpheed - amazing shooter game
Stellar Fire - intro by Michael Dorn
Lunar: The Silver Star

Has there ever been, definitive, proof that burned CD's damage CD lens after extensive use?
I own a Sega CDX and I'm very satisfied with it. 😉
CDX FTW!
Kelly Herbert. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY CDX!
kikayei I just picked one up not long ago, and it's my favorite retro purchase I made. A bit pricey but so worth it imo.
kikayei I had a CDX a long time ago. Should have kept it. Had the games that made having it worth it, like Lunar The Silver Star and Eternal Blue.
john tracy. Duuuuuude, I feel your pain of regret. I still have those games you mentioned. 😉
So happy to see Lunar on here, but should have added Lunar 2 too!
Met Reggie and metal jesus at the PDX Retro Gaming Expo today... Reggie was way cool and friendly, apparently, jesus thinks he's the real Jesus because he could barely be bothered to acknowledge a fan telling him he liked his channel. Oh well. Got some good games so at least that part of it was worth it.
nutz4040 I got the same feeling.
Odd, he doesn't seem like he'd be like that at all.
Soup or Nintendo? I didn't think so either, then I bumped into him randomly and said hi and what not and he just gave the "uh huh thanks" and walked away. Reggie struck up a conversation with me over a game he could see in my bag. Talked to him for a few minutes.
I would feel very uncomfortable if some random nigga came up to me and made me aware of my clout
Do you realize how backwards your words truly are? Not to get all religious on you, but uhm, the real Jesus went out of his way to speak to everyone.
Shining Force CD is reason enough to buy a Sega CD. Add Dark Wizard and Lunar 2 and you have a must own system! This review was spot on! It was so fun to see a Master Collector like John review the Sega CD. It doesn't get much better than this.
Not only in Europe called Mega, but also in Brazil.
Interesting. It's called Mega everywhere actually including Japan. Wiki says it was only called Sega CD in North America and Brazil which might be a mistake.
Here we had the two names referring to the CD. In the video game is called Mega Drive.
chakanbhz Its called mega drive and mega CD every where except NA
chakanbhz Oh and in Nigeria for some reason they had both Mega cd and Sega cd and genesis and mega drive

I rented that exact copy of Out Of This World / Heart Of The Alien (Along with a player) a few times when I lived in Newport as a kid- damn fun game!
i would definitely recommend DUNE the original :D
Whoa! John Hancock traveled forward and time and became a video game collector!
No mention of sewer shark!?!?
Sewer Shark while a decent title, but is not a recommended experience on Mega-CD. Despite it being my favorite game console of all time, but some games are just a little above it's pay-grade...because 3DO! :-)
That's where you play Sewer Shark, should you want to :-)
"I kept my 99 cent price sticker on it." I like how it was also a 99 cent sticker for NHL '98 haha
haha "buyers guide"in 2016! Im happy i collected in the early 2000s! The shit was dirt cheap back then! Now i wouldn start a Sega/Mega CD Colection! 🤔
That's what's been holding me back. I have some of the must have games from the early Ebay days, but no way would I recommend starting now.
datamanmachine I mean you could apply that statement to so many platforms, as buying games for older systems is just more difficult overall due to just more people aware of the market, alongside other reasons.
Yeah... I have a nice collection of burnt cdrs in a folder but it's hard to get nice shiny copies for the shelf. They fit well with the Saturn games.
Is it just me, or does metal Jesus not really know much about videogames? Is Final Fight a fighting game? Seriously dude?
G D I think he knows mostly about PC games...
G D why not ask him what he's into as opposed to just assuming he is some sort of poser. He's actually a really good dude.
Because in the 90s he was mostly a pc gamer
The dude worked for Sierra Online before you were a twinkle in your Dad's eye. Show some respect
I love this channel cause its no fancy editing, no pandering or stupid on screen graphics. Just legit honest passion for vidya games.
I find when he has John on he always/95% of the time picks expensive titles. He spends a lot and has huge collections so he wants to show off.
Silpheed is a spectacular shooter with a very intelligent use of the FMV for the backgrounds
