Project 64 (N64) is a thing, Dolphin (Gamecube & Wii) is a thing, DeSmuME (DS) is a thing, VisualBoyAdvance (GBA) is a thing, Citra (3DS) is a thing Yuzu and Ryujinx (Switch) are a thing. There are others out there but these are the ones I've had little to no issue with not only can these consoles be emulated, most other consoles can be emulated and all of these emulators can run the games at better framerate AND resolutions than the native hardware EVER could.

Hello, from the future! I can confirm that Xenoblade Chronicles 3, one of the bigger Switch exclusives this year, was out and running on PC about a week before its official release. I honestly don't know about those other games mentioned in this video, as I am still relatively new to Switch emulation so wasn't there. However, that is one game I saw working before official release. I'm not sure how or why. I assume someone got a review copy and it got ripped somehow? I admit, these things are a bit beyond my pay grade. So, given the fact that this game, as well as Metroid Dread ran on (I think even before?) launch, I see no issue in believing any of the other claims about Fire Emblem Three Houses and Paper Mario: The Origami King. At most, Switch games may have a few bugs and glitches here and there. I've experienced that. However, overall, I'd say the PC owners get a good deal. Him not believing that we can emulate these games just seems like outright denial. You can easily research it. You don't even have to do it yourself. Just look at some videos and articles, as well as sites that offer the files. It's very easy to verify without being the "bad guy", as I'm sure someone like him would assume anyone who does this is evil in whatever stupid way. Sorry. That said, if you have the actual games legitimately, you can use homebrew software, cartridge dumpers, etc to make roms of your games without having to go to some shady website. Downloading the rom of a cartridge you own isn't legal, you have to make a rom out of the cartridge that you yourself own. As someone who dumps all their games to emulate on PC, I actually enjoy the process quite a bit, and my Switch games have never looked better on PC. Literally, just today I was playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Ryujinx (a Switch emulator) at full 4K resolution. I'm not normally a 4K gamer, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't downright stunning. TL;DR The emulator itself isn't piracy, but the rom can be. It depends on if you actually own the game and dumped it yourself.

Not defending this POS Harman but S-E is actually going downhill far worse than Konami these days. For every success they have recently there's the dead weight of failures the company has amounted. Just in the last year alone their live service games Babylon's Fall, The Avengers, Chocobo GP, FF7 The First Soldier all announced their service discontinuations. On top of those games you have turds like Left Alive, Forspoken, Dissidia NT (another game that ended it's run due to failure), Valkyrie Elysium, Various Daylife (stupid name), Balan Wonderworld, The Quiet Man. They sold their failed Western game division where franchises like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex were left in pretty crummy states (sorry but the modern TR trilogy was garbage, uninspired AAA garbage). Last year they released way too many games desperately trying to see which ones stick. Kingdom Hearts 4's announcement was met with tepid reception at best. And most of all, their garbage president still wants to continue to push NFTs in their trash games as the future. Games like FF7R isn't that good to be honest, it's another lame FF game where stutter your enemies = win win win. They bloated the first 4 hours of the game while screwing too much with the original story.
Dude Brought up n64 emulators because Project 64 (the most popular and frankly best n64 emulator) *can be* a bit of a nightmare to get working propperly. its an old emulator (2 decades at this point) and its design Philosophy is far less immediatly user friendly that others, like Dolphin. Project 64 is mostly plugin based and sometimes you need some pretty specific plugins to get things to work right. HOWEVER Project 64 is the exception, and while its the best, if you dont want to mess with it, Mupen Exists and works out of the box, albeit it is a bit worse in some places. And again, n64 is the exception, most systems have 1 definitive "go to" emulator option and you just use that one. dude did not know what he was on about.

The only switch game that runs terribly on PC is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, because truthfully, I don’t care how many thousands on dollars you spend on your PC, that game is so poorly optimized that it runs terribly and lags, but then again, the switch version chugs more. Still, modding in outfits makes it better than the switch release. I played that game on Switch because it’s portable, otherwise, I’d only play that on PC.
Cyberpunk wasn't the mess that it was made out to be... that was all a bunch of people wanting attention and it got popular to hate on Cyberpunk. Everybody that I knew that played on PC had little to no issues and about the same for the next gen consoles the only ones suffering were the last gen console people. It was a minority of people complaining a ton and then a bunch of dumb people who listen and believe whatever the talking heads tell them to believe and think.
That's really true, but there are also quite some bad console ports that run at 30 fps on next gen consoles. Forspoken, Redfall and Gotham Knights for example.

Sega sells ROM versions of Genesis games on Steam. You could play them on their emulator or use your own. You can just take the given ROM file.

Just in the last year alone their live service games Babylon's Fall, The Avengers, Chocobo GP, FF7 The First Soldier all announced their service discontinuations. On top of those games you have turds like Left Alive, Forspoken, Dissidia NT (another game that ended it's run due to failure), Valkyrie Elysium, Various Daylife (stupid name), Balan Wonderworld, The Quiet Man. They sold their failed Western game division where franchises like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex were left in pretty crummy states (sorry but the modern TR trilogy was garbage, uninspired AAA garbage). Last year they released way too many games desperately trying to see which ones stick. Kingdom Hearts 4's announcement was met with tepid reception at best. And most of all, their garbage president still wants to continue to push NFTs in their trash games as the future. Games like FF7R isn't that good to be honest, it's another lame FF game where stutter your enemies = win win win. They bloated the first 4 hours of the game while screwing too much with the original story.

Dude Brought up n64 emulators because Project 64 (the most popular and frankly best n64 emulator) *can be* a bit of a nightmare to get working propperly. its an old emulator (2 decades at this point) and its design Philosophy is far less immediatly user friendly that others, like Dolphin. Project 64 is mostly plugin based and sometimes you need some pretty specific plugins to get things to work right. HOWEVER Project 64 is the exception, and while its the best, if you dont want to mess with it, Mupen Exists and works out of the box, albeit it is a bit worse in some places.
And again, n64 is the exception, most systems have 1 definitive "go to" emulator option and you just use that one.

on the point of motion controls,i use a ps3 controller and have the motion controls assigned to a button and it works better than the switch,and faster,
The only switch game that runs terribly on PC is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, because truthfully, I don’t care how many thousands on dollars you spend on your PC, that game is so poorly optimized that it runs terribly and lags, but then again, the switch version chugs more. Still, modding in outfits makes it better than the switch release.
I played that game on Switch because it’s portable, otherwise, I’d only play that on PC.

Cyberpunk wasn't the mess that it was made out to be... that was all a bunch of people wanting attention and it got popular to hate on Cyberpunk. Everybody that I knew that played on PC had little to no issues and about the same for the next gen consoles the only ones suffering were the last gen console people. It was a minority of people complaining a ton and then a bunch of dumb people who listen and believe whatever the talking heads tell them to believe and think.

That's really true, but there are also quite some bad console ports that run at 30 fps on next gen consoles. Forspoken, Redfall and Gotham Knights for example.
