Tim have a great concern about those big Bible ribbons. I have noticed that that when they put them into place it makes a crinkle down the page in other words there is an imprint of the ribbon on the paper.
I was looking at the one in imitation brown leather. It looks and feels better than most genuine. However, on another review channel it was inferred that the Zondervon didn’t seem as sturdy as the Lockman Foundation equivalent. I’m sure the Premier Collection is top notch as far as sturdiness was however.

I saw another reviewer say that the text in the gutter thing isn't a problem in actual usage because the bible lays pretty flat when on a table but when holding it in your hands the edges flop away so the text in the middle is actually EASIER to read than if it had a wider gutter (if all that makes sense :) )
I have this Bible. It is magnificent! I also have an RL Allan one in red goatskin. Guess what - the Premier Collection beats it for beauty, durability and just overall quality! I know the Allan addicts will be after me, but there it is folks, the Premier version is absolutely fantastic.
Certainly an enthusiastic review -- so glad you like your new Bible! How many blank note pages are in the back? It's too bad about the text going nearly into the gutter. It's nearly -- maybe -- a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, it seems like a wonderful NASB. Blessings!

If only it is smaller, and not Printed in China. It is huge like the Schuyler WM NASB. Just bought the AMG NASB 1977. It is paste down binding and Printed in China. Have been looking for an excellent condition Cambridge 1977 NASB for a couple of years with no luck. Hence forced to get the AMG Ed. I am not persuaded to get the NASB 2020. There is also the The Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) too! But for now I am staying with KJV and NASB 1977, with ESV as backup.
THIS is my favourite NASB 95 ... have it in Goatskin and LEATHER. Both are great. RED hilites in references..headings.. NASB is a very good translation. And many ARE taking THAT to the bank. I have 77..95..2020..and LSB. Prefer 95 so far.
Hey is there any way to get those complete footnotes online or in a separate book - just to have them on the side? Is there even such a thing? I ordered this Bible also. Thanks.
Thanks for the review, all I needed to see was "Printed in China" and I knew that this bible wasn't for me. I've been trying to find this information for a day now and your review is the first to actually show it clearly. It's hard for me to fathom the disconnection from reality for a company to print bibles in a country that stifles the ownership of the very bible that is being printed. I'm happy to send bibles into China, but I will not buy one printed in China. And, I'm not criticizing anyone for owning it, it's a personal conviction, some will find reasons that they think you should own one, that's fine, but it's not for me.

Considering how many Americans are bilingual Spanish speakers, I don't know why there isn't more interest. Once that's done and pays for the endeavor - start marketing them to the bigger South American market and smaller European market that would enjoy them (the American market could cover the startup costs for the text blocks, and once it's done then run with it worldwide).
Great review. The text runs so far into the gutter, it's not for me. Why on earth publishers don't increase the gutter margin and less reference space or put The reference on the gutter. It is beyond me. There are so many super expensive bibles with text running into the gutter.
The text is way too close to the gutters. Definitely not for me. I don't understand this type of design? all they had to do is move the text a little more to the center and they would have hit the mark.
@@gleasonparker1684 Gleason did you get it on the net? I would like to see it to make sure it was among the updated typefaces. The Lockman - Foundation publications is good but the print strength is too weak in too many places if you know what I mean. Whereas Zondervan has more of a bolder print. Plus the Lockman does not have a great leather cover. And the better leather bible is not worth the extra price as the text and print are the same.

Probably, they could have shifted everything closer to the outer edge too. It's close to ideal though.

This one feels very sturdy. I've been extremely impressed with the premium Bibles from Zondervan.

I'm not sure... I would guess that the Lockman Foundation (primary publisher of the NASB) has something along those lines.

Would it not be better to have the references in the spine? Then the text wouldn't tuck into the spine every line, but the references would instead.

They updated this on the new edition and gave more space.
