Just to elaborate on the story a bit, the woman holding the dolls represents a demonic goddess called the gravesinger who comes to earth and forces everyone on the planet to commit mass suicide. The main character of the story is a man who commits suicide just before the mass suicide who ends up in purgatory and traverses through the abyss to return to earth, essentially immortal and alone on the planet until the stars and planets themselves die. It's a pretty dope concept and literally requires listening to the album front to back to get the story as a whole. However, every song on this album has playability based on the tracks themselves without having to follow the story as well, imho. Either way, good to see you react to it and they have plenty of awesome songs on this album. I agree with most of the folks here, definitely do malediction next. It's the end track and wraps the album up nicely i think.

The album this is on, Melancholy, is one of the best albums released in the last few years if you ask me. Would highly recommend the full album; the last track on it, Malediction, is absolutely breathtaking especially. And the guest vocalist is actually the vocalist of The Black Dahlia Murder! Btw, as far as the story goes, the album is a concept album and the girl is a goddess called the Gravesinger who can basically control people. It’s a sick ass concept if you read into it more, since this is only the third song so the rest of the album digs into it more.
Such a beautifully brutal song! Definitely in agreement with you guys. As others have mentioned, the guest vocalist is Trevor Strnad from The Black Dahlia Murder. I definitely recommend giving them a listen too. Nightbringers and What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse are my personal favorite tracks from them.

@Oscaarchaos same! Although Eternal Nightmare wasn’t anything special imo, CG’s next record could be absolutely amazing if they give Tom more writing freedom. Plus Cj is the best vocalist in the scene rn imo, and with him Lorna is only gonna expand. Plus both are great fits in a live environment
I'm familiar with Lorna Shore. They're really good. I was actually supposed to be on the same bill with them for a couple shows on the Metal Alliance Tour a few years back, but some kind of bullsh*t happened with Deicide and the whole tour got canceled 2 days in.
Pretty awesome. Their voices are great. Very technical. Just a little bit too bombastic for me. But I will check out their other songs, they are interesting!

lol. I know what you mean. As far as the drums are concerned, I honestly have no clue. I've seen plenty of drummers that can double bass blast fast AF, and then there are some that use triggers, and sometimes it's a combination of both.
