Ben Duerr and Trevor Strnad (RIP, Papa Trev) are the only people I've ever met who made me feel like I actually haven't been listening to a wide range of metal my entire life. Also, this song... a true 10/10.
I'm not a big fan of this song in all honesty, but I love Ben Duerr, and it's really cool seeing how many different bands and sub-genres he's contributed to.
I like what you said about the confusion if they’re grindcore or death metal. Whatever they’ve done since Retrogore is different. It feels like a solid fart into the next stage of death metal.
It was a prequel to how it happened the 2011 the thing or whatever. Either way it wasn’t great mainly because the use of cgi that made the thing look cheesy and very terrible. Theirs a moment on the helicopter attack that really takes you out of it.
Hardest death metal song of the year hands down, I headbang to this song as hard as the first time I listened to it.
someone really called in lornacore? wtf aborted has been around for hella years doing this style.
This is such a banger of a track. The album releases on my daughter’s birthday and I will have to resist the urge to play during her birthday party.
Had the same experience with Ben, dude just knows everything when it comes to heavy music. Always has great recs on his Instagram.

Yeah this was a good one

Aborted has been one of Ben's favorite bands since he was in his early teens if you didn't know. It must be so cool for him.
@@Tonjit41 He definitely seemed hyped to land this feature.

Неплохо неплохо
The Carpenter version isn’t the original, there’s a black and white movie from 1951. Just sayin’ (to be honest I never knew that until quite recently)
