You're exactly right Asia. South Park is South Park because Matt and Trey will give the smoke to anyone. Hell one episode makes gun of how our whole pla et is a fucking reality show for aliens 😂😂
The “mother tone” exhibited by Asia at the start when talking about Cartman was like she was saying “if that was my child, I would whoop his ass!!” 😆😆😆
Cripple fight with Timmy & Jimmy has 2 handicapped kid's kicking the crap out of each other. That was Matt & Trey poking fun at the fight scene from "They Live" but it is pretty funny
They go after everyone, it's hilarious! What makes it so funny is that America had these caricatures in the movies and on TV throughout it's history. They just create never ending bits.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone make those kinds of episodes to piss everybody off. That's the whole point of the episodes. Family Guy does the same thing, but in different ways. I also admire that Asia and BJ are able to watch this and take it as a joke and not be offended by it. Much respect.
I was expecting anger tbh. I have a similar reaction. I love South Park so much. They have so many classic one liners. Like “We checked the pH in the pool…….. It’s all pee… No H!”
Back in the 70s, things like those old Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts were throwing racial jokes right and left. Don't forget the famous movie, "Blazing Saddles". What many people don't get today is that this humor was used to laugh at ourselves to create healing. Also, it is almost impossible not to have humor unless there is some inappropriateness edge to it. Using humor to point about absurdity is very effective. Much more effective than trying to shame people for saying something stupid or worrying about offending folks. Too many people are looking for reasons to be offended or to virtual signal being offended for others. They can go to hell as far as I am concerned.
I have this boss, married to a black lady. Lots of black friends. Watching you guys reminds me of sitting around the grill arguing over pork and telling racist jokes and drinking beer and relaxing. It's like a little pocket of just chilling and not worrying about ending up on the nightly news. Pork... it unites us all
If you don't watch South Park, these clips need some general context: South Park is a social critique, of everyone and everything. They take a tough subject and push your face into it, while being extremely funny (if it is your sense of humor of course). It juxtaposes tough subjects with slap stick moments to take the edge off but still really dive into it. It is often seen as childish or immature but the show covers more difficult and tough subjects than most others. The first clip with Cartman and Butters as Chinese is taking the piss out of Hollywood portrayals of Chinese and other Asians, like Mr. Yunioshi from Breakfast at Tiffany's. A deeply racist stereotype. I can't remember this specific episode, but it will have a purpose. It will end in a way where it unequivocally shows how stupid racism is. Butters as a pimp is about him convincing the girls in his school to sell kisses, essentially becoming a pimp. It all ends in tears of course but it manages to talk about prostitution and exploitation without becoming unwatchable and painful. The Hall of Stereotypes is part of a tolerance course the boys get sent on because Cartman was being super racist again. It goes on to talk about tolerance but also the engrained intolerance that is abound everywhere, as shown by Randy mistaking the janitor for an example of stereotyping while the janitor is literally the living stereotype.
South parks episodes, lot of them, have a wonderful message too. Like the one when Cartman is Fighting, is about discrimination and Stan situation with his father and his friend in this episode was outstanding, at the end " you are right, Ii don't get it"
In this compiliation There was 4 clips from 4 different episode. 1.Season 12 episode 8 "The China Problem" 2.Season 13 Episode 9 "Butters Bottom B 3.Season 6 Episode 14 4.Season 11 Episode 1 "With Apologizes to Jesse Jackson" Would be nice if you could react to those episode, you can stream those episodes free online.
South Park are great at using shocking comedy to highlight problems and injustice in society. The episode where cartman fights the midget is one of the best.
Asia saying "I believe I know what you are saying." Is cracking me up. I'm white, and I think this show makes fun of white stereo types as much as anything. And it's just hilarious. Kenny's parents always Crack me up. Only cause I know a few people they remind me of.
South Park got me a phone call from my 5th graders school. Al Gore came up and my daughter said he's obsessed with manbearpig. Teacher didn't find the humor
Thank you for this video!! I grew up on Saturday Night Live, stand-up from Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, the first Friday film, and MAD TV. We all NEED to just have fun making fun of everything and LAUGH. It's just comedy.
Best line ever concering offending people, south park put best. " Either all of it is ok to make fun of, or none of it is" i fully agree. Thats how you keep the stereotype within a culture viewed as something we all have and a unique comical identifier versus a targeted usage of words of hate.
My prediction about how BJ and Asia would react to Butters' Pimpin' scene was pretty spot-on. Asia initially gets the shocked face and BJ just starts laughing. 😂
I used to date a girl named Asia. When she would give her name for appointments apparently people thought that she was black. They would always be surprised that she was Korean/White.
I think South Park author is absolutely genius in racist joke, not only white people like to watch, all race people like to watch and laugh , even lots of N word, M word, B word involved, make fun of black , Asian , Latino, jews as usual as always , oh also gays,😊😂❤
I'm of the school of thought that nothing, no matter how horrible, is above being a target of humor. Sometimes humor is how one can confront and cope with horrible experiences.
Hello. I just want to point out that those 3 pimps are based on REAL LIFE PIMPS that were featured in HBO's PIMPS N PLAYAS mino-series of the late 1990s lol
Most South Park episodes are based on long form jokes that have an insult, social commentary about a people, government or culture right at the end of a show. Family Guy can be broke up, but you miss a lot when you watch snippets of South Park. A full episode is the best way to get and understand their jokes.
Any person or group that takes themselves too seriously is fair game in their eyes. Satire hits so much differently when it's in cartoon form. Family Guy hits pretty hard too but in a very different way.
I just found your reaction channel, primarily for your south park reactions, i have watched since the day it aired back in 96, you guys should react to the panderverse special
The meta joke at 7:35 is hilarious. It demonstrates that you actually can laugh at yourself, something all of us need a hell of a lot more of these days. The reason these stereotypes are funny is because...well...there's some truth to them. I think South Park is one of the best in the business at picking on everybody and not giving a rats ass what other uptight people think. There's obviously no offense meant in South Park or most humor these days. More people need to realize that and just laugh. Good on you for not only saying it but actually doing it. Btw, I believe I know what you are saying.
The last scene cut off before the best line of the episode. It frames my reaction to race as a white guy. "I finally get it, I don't get it." There's usually a point to every joke they make.
Nice reaction guys, poor Butters being involved with Katt Williams haha shoot. South Park is a MESS, but they're sure funny. I believe there's a best of Butters compilation out there, check it out sometime.

Dude, sometimes, racism is funny. It is what it is. I wouldn't love Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle if I didn't think so. Clayton Bigsby is one of the greatest skits to ever exist.
