    I'd say its not religion that's the root issue but those who seek power and control of others. You'll find that religion and government work hand in hand. The religion itself isn't the issue as most urge their followers to be peaceful. Those in power who influence events in their respective part of the world are the root cause of the issue when it comes down to it. Religion is simply the means in which they manipulate people.

    I got circumcised as an adult in my late 30s due to a medical issue. As far as sensitivity goes (since you asked), when you're immediately circumcised, the head is very sensitive, because the hood that's been covering it for years is suddenly gone, and not it's exposed to the "elements" (underwear etc.), and it take a bit of time to get used to... however, the head becomes desensitized within a matter of weeks, as it becomes the outer part of skin, and you don't even notice it anymore. So, to answer your question, the uncircumcised penis is more sensitive, because the foreskin maintains the sensitivity of the head, by acting as an outer protective layer. The head is also has more moisture by comparison, because the foreskin retains the moisture on the head, where as a circumcised head tends to be more dried out. The moisture with an uncircumcised penis is a natural benefit as it conditions the head, but if not cleaned properly and regularly, it can cause hygiene issues. There's also a natural odor with an uncircumcised penis (not to be confused with a "bad" odor as a result of some kind of infection or medical issue), where as a circumcised penis has no odor (again, if cleaned properly)... whether that natural odor is considered a positive, normal, or negative thing is often due to cultural conditioning.
    I was concerned about the ramifications of getting circumcised (I didn't have a choice, I had to do it for medical issues), and found that there are all sorts of weird communities who think circumcision is mutilation, people wanting their foreskin back etc. and then the other extreme where people think anything other than a circumcised penis is disgusting and abnormal. It's all very strange. After living with both for years, I can honestly say that it doesn't matter either way. Sex is no more or less pleasurable either way, I don't feel any more clean being circumcised (cause I wash properly), I don't feel like I've lost a part of myself etc. It's really a silly thing to worry about unless you have a medical issue that makes either way uncomfortable to live with.

    • @onlyfoes
      @onlyfoes ปีที่แล้ว +11

      The difference is you made that decision on your own as an adult. And most circumcisions are done without a medical need behind it. The reasons are often just culture/religion. What about "My body my choice" here? If your newborn is healthy then there's no need to cut anything. Simple as that.

    • @mountainpeakcloud8442
      @mountainpeakcloud8442 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@onlyfoes Well, I didn't really have a choice, I had to have it done, but yes, it is different because it was a medical procedure that had to be done. I don't really have a strong opinion on the "you stole my foreskin without my consent" debate... I guess, sure, you could make the "my body, my choice" argument, but I guess the reason I don't have a strong opinion about it is that it doesn't really make much of a difference in terms of the function of the penis, or even one's quality of life, it's more the thought of having something taken without consent. In my experience, the differences I talk about are nuanced, and there really is not better or worse way of being... if anything, it's easier to keep oneself clean and fungus free when you're circumcised.

    At 11:20, this question is interesting. The scenario of the football match scenario presented in this video have maybe an answer: If two religious individuals pray for their team to win, God will act in the fairest manner possible; and, perhaps the fairest action is to remain neutral and allow the game to unfold naturally.
    We (both religious and non-religious individuals) sometimes harbor fallacious and spurious assumptions about faith . Often, we perceive God a granter of wishes, yet this portrayal does not align with the message of the Bible. In the Bible, God is depicted as a Father/Mother who gazes upon humanity with both empathy and, at times, sorrow. The message of the Bible is that God loves us and constantly encourages us to look the world as we should see it. He therefore call upon humanity to pursue justice, cultivate empathy, and to love to those who suffer in the world. Therefore, He calls upon humanity to pursue justice, cultivate empathy, and show love to those who suffer in the world.
    Faith is not (or should not be seen as) a magical gateway to obtaining what we want. If we see it as such, we will not understand Jesus’ message. Faith, therefore, should not be misconstrued as a mystical pathway to fulfilling our wishes; rather, it is the journey of uncovering the message of a God who often differs from our preconceptions and, more than us, challenges us to "love our neighbor as ourselves.

    Well about the spirituality , yes , 90% people are using it wrong , "praying" like speaking a mantra or looking up in hope , using the greatest force to solve City - United disputes or so on :))))) About the religion being the cause of most evil , it really isn't. I know there are some clear examples and some weird changes in the european landscape now but the most attrocities were still commited by fully declared atheists in WW2 or in socialist countries no matter war or peace. Greed and ego would be the root of all evil rather than spirituality.
    We as individuals are not separate from God. If you want to explore this, start with Florence Scovel Shinn readings and so on. All the inner perspective will change. Good luck!

    I wanted what religious people had in their lives and started investigating the idea of joining a church. There was a lot of information about prayer. We prayed to give thanks and develop more of a sense of connection with our belief in God and Jesus. We prayed to be grateful. We learned that we had been promised to have enough to get through each day (referring to our daily bread in the Bible), and that’s a big gift right there
    re what you said was your objection, the Holy Word doesn’t promise victories for every struggle in this world. It promises one victory in the next world (under a certain conditions). There’s the story of Job who was a good and faithful man. Everything went wrong in his life. I have no idea the point of the story of Job, but I’m just saying prayer and faith isn’t all about asking for the best prize. Sometimes, you might ask to be able to handle a win or a loss
    I stopped attending church a few years ago. I don’t believe. I never knew if I was just pretending. For the comment , ,I just thought I might try to explain that prayer life can be more than a wish for a win. Prayer life can grow and develop too, beyond what I know.

    Religion is about salvation. The prayer, the fasting and every religious practices are intended to be saved from sin and damnation. Anything happens in this world in our favour or against our favour doesn't change the fact that God is with us. In fact God knows what we really needs in our life and He always provide us with what's really necessary for us even though the ultimate goal of a religion is salvation.

    I think the common sentiment in a situation where two people pray for 2 irreconcilable outcomes is that God responded to one of their prayers because he believed they deserved the positive outcome, while he left the other's prayers unanswered because he saw no merit in in the positive outcome and instead wished to send that person a message, or to test their faith in him, or have them reflect on what they couldve done better on their end to achieve their positive outcome without relying so much on God picking up the slack.for them. God doesnt protect everyone from pain all the time, because it is only through our many trials and tribulations that we become stronger in our character and thus more capable of even greater heights

I went to Catholic school, and i am sure you're all aware based on some of your reacts that high school football is huge here in the states. my high school was 5A and competed against all of the local 5A level schools, but there was only one other Catholic high school that qualified as 5A in the state and they were our rival. Both schools are about a hundred years old, and both have a huge winning legacy. Their school was Jesuit, ours was Franciscan. before every game our priests would bless the field and the players from the 50 yard line, good game, no injuries, etc. But for the rivalry game, our priest would take the field on our side in his brown robes and their priest would take the field on their side in his black robes both facing each other and praying for a good game, no injuries... but i always wondered. hahaha

    A non-circumcised willy has more nerve endings, that's why the pleasure sensation is increased. Cleanliness is the reason circumcision is popular in the states, but it also seems to have some sort of religion influence as well. Cleanliness isn't a real issue though... you simply teach your child how to clean themselves, problem solved. I'd say the real reason is because they get to charge you a stupid fee for the procedure. As for it having an impact on penile length... I have no idea. I wouldn't imagine that to be the case as I have plenty of sac skin that's connected to my shaft that would make more than enough room for expansion. Not only that, people seem to be obsessed with penile size these days so if it were true, I'd imagine that sort of knowledge would spread like wildfire, lol.

The commandment to circumcise was a covenant made with Abraham and is recorded in Genesis 17:10-14, reading: 'And God spoke to Abraham saying: … This is my covenant which you shall keep between me and you and thy seed after you - every male child among you shall be circumcised. Giving your life to Jesus will 100% change your life. It’s changed many peoples lives actually. Christianity is the real religion and there’s evidence proving it’s real. People just don’t want to accept the truth. Events that are said in the Bible are coming true. How are you gonna believe in evil aka paranormal, murder, crimes, etc and not in good? A Christian has peace, a purpose, and hope at the end of the tunnel. But the people who don’t believe in Jesus and don’t have Jesus in their life, they are walking through the same suffering in life with no hope or peace at the end of the tunnel and they will find themselves in hell to suffer even more for eternity. Would you want that? Jesus is all love and powerful, He will accept anyone that believes in Him. I hope who ever reads this gives their life to Jesus and you’ll see miracles happen and prayers answered. If you have any questions lmk. God bless✝️❤️

    It’s interesting to me how an officially atheist nation/ union of nations-the former USSR-was also one of the most aggressive, expansionist, and anti-human rights nations/union of nations ( mostly forced “union”). So I’m not too sure about religion (or really, “religion”) being the most common reason for war. It certainly is used as the pretext for war and aggression. Biblical Christianity doesn’t support aggression as a means of evangelism. Just think of the early martyrs who died, often in grotesque ways, rather than respond with aggression to persecution.
