      I just watched the other newer 68 video and I wish you put some driving footage in it or atleast told us how the truck felt after and what advantages you had doing that mod. Looking to get a 4th gen and really want to see how a 68 will hold up. I tow usually every weekend. My trailer weights about 2K and my load is usually ATVs, a tractor, or a Jeep. So total load is usually roughly 5-7k max. Please tell me everything you possibly can about the 68 and what you like and don’t like about it if you could

      I realize I'm pretty randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?

    I'm in Alberta Canada where we see temps -40 and +35C (-40 to 95F) so running it wide open year-round would be a horrible idea. Love how Mishimoto has a thermostat option. We all run their higher-temp thermostats in the winter.

    How much fluid was lost

    It's the new way of warming up the trans faster just like how the older gen trucks had that stupid heat exchanger that always went bad and mixed coolant and atf together. Only this bypass doesn't kill your trans or fill the coolant system with trans fluid which if anyone has a 3rd gen they know that when the heat exchanger goes bad it makes an absolute mess of the coolant system haha oh what fun it was... wish I had though to put a bypass in years ago lol. I bought the 3rh gen bypass like you did and I put it on my 3rd gen and it works great for the 04's 48re

      @@purepanorama8484 I have a 08 6.7 with the 68rfe and I just did the triple disc torque converter last month and the other day my trans hit 180 degrees and it went into limp mode. I'm wondering if my thermostat isn't the problem. After seeing this video I'm going to try this product out and see if it fixes my problem!

      Hey Joe. Did you figure it out yet? I don't have the answer but wondering what the problem is

    • @williamtaylor3372
      @williamtaylor3372 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’re tune didn’t come with transmission tuning that is going to be your issue. If you don’t mind me asking who supplied your tunes? Ray @ DRD? CCS? If either of them contact them and they will get you back up and running usually when you delete they up your line pressure to 190-225

    Does this apply to the 2012? Just picked up a 2012 with 39k miles and don't see one on the website for 2012.

    Will this void warranty? I wouldn’t think so

    • @purepanorama8484
      @purepanorama8484  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not to my knowledge. It's designed just like the factory one, just better quality and yout can gut the thermostat to run cooler in hotter weather. I had zero issues when I had warranty work performed on my truck.

      Not a problem, man! I try to get back to people as best as I can. It gets a little hectic at times and I miss comments because I have a bunch of videos on the channel now that people comment on. Sounds like you're getting a nice truck for your first diesel. I'm hoping to start having more content coming to the channel in the near future, as there is plenty of stuff I need/want to do with my truck. I just began filming some things last weekends, so hopefully this summer there will be new videos dropping more frequently. I appreciate the support!
