OK, I’m now confused and could use some perspective. Based on this and several other videos on this topic and installed the ATS bypass on my 2015 RAM diesel with the 68RFE tranny. These blocks just make it more convenient to not have to cut your stock lines in the event that you want to go back to the stock cooling block, especially in colder weather.

@@Mike-01234 I know it was a common problem with Nissan vehicles, and the idea of it it's not really that solid. Thousands of trucks that will need transmissions
@@sav300 have 6 diesel trucks 2018-2022 no problem
@@gb4807 congrats on playing the lucky game. The reality of things is, you’re relying on a part that will eventually fail and cost you a transmission.
There wouldn’t be a product to replace it if there hadn’t already been failures. Get it? Not if, when. I know of 5 68rfe’s that have been replaced. One just pounds pavement and gravel. The others live with a trailer attached. But hey, if your pockets are deep enough to afford 6 new trans keep on trucking without it.
@@sav300 if the thing would not work right and there was hundreds of trucks broken because of that thing there will be a recall
@@gb4807 your hilarious. It’s a wear item the way they look at it. Just like a thermostat, like the one in your cooling system. Too many variables to deem it warranted for recall.
Like I said before, if you have the pockets to pay for 6 new transmissions then keep on trucking. Otherwise, your mind is already made up so there is no getting you to understand
What does it do!
Increase fluid flow to the the tansmission.
The made a fancy aluminum block without the thermostat.
As someone noted. Take the factory block off and remove the thermostat.
