Fun watching you guys build stuff. When you put those larger forks on the 50’s I’ve found you need to slide the forks up in the triple clamps 2-3” to get the front end back down. Otherwise it’ll be choppered out and ride rear heavy. You can slide them up until they almost hit the handlebars or until the edge of the flat portion of the forks (before the taper).

Definitely didn’t get that shock up high enough, it’s almost completely maxxed while your sitting on it, starting the shock higher with more angle would have put the bike in less of a low rider bike if so. Check out how pitbikes are setup for the rear shock, either the shock is too short for the build or it’s just set too far down. It’s gonna do nothing but cruise at that angle, if you wheelie it be careful of breaking the front forks from the extreme front rake angle

Regarding the GoPro sound issues: do you guys regularly format the SD cards from the camera itself? For some reason this is kind of a requirement for GoPro's or else they tend to get corrupted files. I format mine almost every time I go out shooting and I have never had an issue since. When I first got my GoPro I was having issues with videos having no sound or glitchy video. Formatting my SD card on a regular basis completely solved my issues. Just make sure you do it from the camera not on a computer! For some reason it really does matter.
Good luck guys. LOVE your videos!

Just an FYI fir those playing at home, that adjustment in the shock doesn't change the spring rate. It changes the preload. So, springs have a rate. Say 10kg/mm. So 10kg compresses 1mm, 20kg compresses 2mm, 100kg 10mm, etc. If you add preload, you're taking up the initial compression. So if you add 5mm compression that means for 50kg you'll get 0 compression then 60kg you'll get 1mm. So it's exactly the same. Until you put less than your preloaded weight on the bike. So a 20kg rider. They'll get 0 spring rate until 50kg them 10kg/mm spring rate, which can feel horrible mid corner when your springs go from full hard to soft.

Man. I wanna live in Utah. Washington doesn’t allow people to take anything out of the dump. Closest I’ve been able to take out of the dump was a 2 stroke 80cc Honda motor. Needs rebuilt which is the plan

@Fab Rats I'd love to hear your review on those Hercules impacts, seen you using them quite a bit. Hercules vs Milwaukee? Id imagine with Milwaukee, if something fails you'll have a easier time with replacement and battery platforms staying the same. I've been looking at the Hercules because of the price, but worried about longevity. Love the video!

Paul, you have yourself a pit bike sir. I still have two of these Honda CRF50s and each one has been converted to an 88cc big boar kit. Never mind I thought you said at first you were building this for you Paul.

Wow you you must have a different type of a garbage dump then we have here cuz that thing would never make it to the dump everything makes it to a motorcycle scrap yard or worst case scenario scrapped into a million pieces and part it out

I can’t figure out why, when you have a motorcycle that is too small, that you would start a rebuild with the same frame. Every old town has motorcycles everywhere rusting away. $25 would probably get you something the right size with a couple of larger wheels. Will the second half answer this question? Back to the video…

I have a shed full of crf50 stuff I've been collecting for years we're really into these and building them there used to be tons of company's making high quality parts for these and frame kits and stuff. You can still get engine parts and stuff my latest builds are a couple matching billetware framed bikes with 124cc dohc kitaco motors with takegawa 4 speeds and takegawa manual clutches.
