I can honestly say, your channel is one of my favourites, I'm a welder fabricator of 35+yrs and love what you do. TIG welding aluminum is an art, and I am seeing that you are certainly getting better at it. Can't wait for you and your wrecker to "kick ass" at the Olympics, I follow all you fools and love every minute of my time watching. Keep on... Keeping on. Oh, tell Michelle when she crashes next time... It's the muffler bearings fault. LMAO
Best interview ever! I was paralyzed 3 years ago by an infection in my spine. By the grace of God I’m regaining my ability to walk. I’m going through years of not having a regular sleep schedule. I started watching TH-cam because I can’t take the crap on tv. I have not watched tv in 4 years. Your interview was great man. I hesitate to watch interviews with people because most of the time the interviewer is looking to boost their ratings and not provide a good interview. Good stuff! Thanks
Thanks for this comment Steve! I'm glad you enjoyed. I'll have videos with Matt's off-road recovery, Merlin's old school garage and chads fab coming out over the next few month
As an old man I so appreciate Paul and his team. I grew up watching my dad make the smallest things just to keep old trucks and tractors going. When I was grown and well on my own I asked dad why we would spend all weekend make a two dollar part, his answer’” I didn’t have the two dollars.” He installed that I can make that attitude into my entire life. I watch you and see the hundred of old men who made it all their lives making stuff we couldn’t afford. God bless Paul and all he does.
Same. Love all the channels, but man, I can just watch/listen to Paul in his shop for hours. His relaxed approach to just about everything is so enjoyable.
Listen to Ben work at a job you love and never work a day in your life. Paul and Ben in the same work place is a recipe to never work a day in your life. I enjoy these guys so much the youtube channel is very organic and non scripted. It great seeing people being their self.
"Life gets pretty depressing". So true! I think that's why I love watching MORR, RAD, Robby and Fab Rats. Everyone is positive, building g cool stuff, helping each other, helpingstrangers and customers. Beautiful scenery, cool off roading and master craft work. I always feel good after watching any of the videos! Thanks to all those related channels!
Very nice video!! Thanks for this profile. FabRats are great and you’ve added to the knowledge banks of their lore. You’ve also made me a fan of yours now!!
I'm the guy that sent all the machine tooling to Paul. Glad to see he's still following the story line we worked out. 😂😂 Michelle (and her cousin) are both divas of editing. 👍
Fantastic interview, fantastic interviewER; ask a short question, listen for the answer, the way it should be done. Thanks for asking all the questions we ask when we watch these lovely people doing their thing; I'm glad you teased out the family tree. Paul and Michelle are such humble people, that's one of the many reasons why we love them so much.
Paul and Michelle seem like the kind of people that would be good to have as friends. The fact that they are so involved with their kids, shows they are good parents as well.

From "Down-Under", in Wonthaggi Australia. Paul Michelle and the rest of the crew thank you for just "being human" and so natural. I look forward to watching every video you guys produce
This is so great. The best thing about Paul is how he includes his family in the whole thing. We need more popular shows like his and Matt’s that promote values and are genuinely heart warming, funny, interesting, and suspenseful for people to watch. Cheers to @Decent Garage for highlighting FabRats and thanks Paul and crew for putting out consistently awesome content.
What a great video y'all! The edits with Matt and Robbie were GOLD! 😄 THE FR crew are simple, humble, hard working, and just an awesome family to watch. I do have to take this opportunity to give a HUGE shout out to Ben. That man is a literal machine of a man that gets stuff done, must be great to be around, and really knows how electrical. I also miss Randall but I'm stoked to hear he's getting on well.
Thank you for sharing us this video Fab rats,Matts off road , Robby Layton , chad fab.. They all have wonderful families and good friends always enjoying their videos.
Apart from enjoying all the cool stuff that gets built with the try it and see method, it's the love that goes on around the shop and the family that makes this my favorite channel. Great to see good people doing well.
Thanks for doing this with not only FabRats but with all of the related influencers in their circle. It's so refreshing to see such good wholesome content. It put a smile on my face and made a great start to the day. Thanks again.
you all have such a good, family thing going on. this little episode made me cry. i dont have any family left, so it just thrills me to see you all so involved. thank you gor doing what you do.
Great video!!! Fab Rats is my all time favorite channel. I found their channel through Matts off-road recovery. Pauls custom fabrications skills are awesome. Great family friendly channel. Michelles editing is awesome. Love the shirt Michelle!!!
I love all of the projects on Fab Rats and I have learned an amazing amount from Paul and Ben, but, bar none, the family dynamics are my favorite part of the Fab Rats channel. The love, respect, and adoration are amazing to watch! It really does exhibit the importance of family. I like all of the "Southern Utah" channels, but Fab Rats is far and away my favorite!
You need to do one of these with the Robby Layton crew and Matt and his crew. Very informative on who everyone is. Happy to watch all 3 of your channels
My dad was a hobby/home machinist and had a basement full of lathes, mills, shapers, etc. My bedroom as a teenager was in a corner of the basement and I was often woken from sleep by the sound of a lathe at early weekend hours. Nice to see craftsmen like Paul keeping old skills alive.
Just watched the family tree video. I've always watched Matt and Rudy , and Chad fab. Thanks to this video I now have another favorite. I recently retired and spent a week in the Salt Lake City area. I wish we would have went further south to the Hurricane area! Been looking for somewhere to relocate for our retirement years. Who knows we may be neighbors! Keep up the great work.
You missed Chad's Fab from the channel's family tree. He and his wife (+kids) has been down helping Fab Rats out so much with wiring ECU tuning and stuff that they should be included in the family tree. And their neighbour chef who often pops in for a chat. He was also the chef for his sons, Fab Rats and Chad and at the 24h Lemon Race. And maybe Grandma Lolli's sister with her burger bar where Loli also works and their Fab Rat's burger.
Totally agree! The funny thing is, when we left fab rats after filming, we went to the burger shack and ran into 3 other people who were related to Paul or Michelle. Trying to capture them all was a loosing battle to begin with 😅
I agree, if you have the opportunity, check out Chad's Fab channel. They're getting more and more involved. I think it would be good to get an interview with them as well.
Thanks for doing this. We feel like we know the family and friends but it’s certainly nice to learn some of the back story. Hope to see you interview some of our other Utah TH-cam friends.
