    Nawala yung struggle ko sa pagda diet mula nung napanood kita Doc. Andami ko kasi sinubukan pero lahat puro umpisa lang dahil diko ma sustain. Pero dahil magaling ka mag explain, nalaman ko na pwede pala mag lose weight na walang food restrictions but all in moderation. Now na reach ko na yung goal weight ko, naeenjoy ko pa yung pagkain ko. Super thankful sayo Doc! 😊😊😊

      @@rizzasinadjan3189 @Esang Villalobos Nag IF ako (intermittent fasting) search nyo, may video rin si Doc about dun, talagang naging guide ko tong channel nya, start sa 12/12, then 14/10, then 16/8 tas 18/6 ngayun 20/4 pero ayoko na ipush pa sa 23/1 kasi maintaining nalang naman ayoko. Happy nako sa katawan ko, ayoko na pumayat lalo baka mag mukang may sakit. Nag ra rice pa rin Ako,pero unlike nuon na unli talaga, ngayun 1 cup nalang. Wala akong bawal kainin, pero kain nalang or tikim, not lamon 😅 Tas follow lang ng workout dito sa TH-cam. In 3 months from 55, now 47 kg nalang ako.

      Nice same, nagstart ako 2 days ago ng keto diet with IF kaso nung napanood ko ang vlog ni Doc tungkol sa keto ayun na discourage ako ituloy😂.. Kaya focus muna ako sa IF 16/8 dahil nagloose din naman ako ng 2kg within 2 weeks from 54.5 down to 52.5 without ristricting what i eat and moderate exercise like walking and sometimes zumba.

    Saktong sakto yung mga sinabi ni Doc Dex sa turo sakin ng Coach Joy ko. 65 kgs dati ang weight ko for a 4'11" woman na 25 years old.
    Sa loob ng 6 na buwan, I turned 55 kgs. Then several months pa, naging 52 kgs.
    Dumaan sa proseso, naging consistent sa diet. Sinigurong Low GI foods ang food kahit sa ultimong snacks. Nag-aerobic workout. At sagana sa tubig. Hindi man ganun kabilis ang pagbawas ng timbang but I loved the result. May iba akong nakasabayan na puspos sa workout, nakapag weightloss pero luyloy ang balat at me mga tagong sakit. Sabi nga ni Coach sakin nun "di naman kasi natin alam kung naging consistent ba talaga sila sa mga kinakain nila althroughout the day kahit pa hindi naman tayo nagkulang sa paalala."
    Wag mainip pero maging consistent pa din sa lahat. Lalo sa foods. 80% proper diet, 20% exercise.

      This is true! It all boils down to proper diet and nutrition. Nung face to face class pa, I always eat banana and apple as my breakfast then I eat sa canteen wherein yung rice unti lang (tipid sa bigay eh). Tapos nakakaubos ako ng 2L of water a day. Pag sa gabi ulam na lang at banana and apple kinakain ko. Pero ngayon hindi na hahahaha wala na me pambili ng banana at apple.😂

      @@nestorenriquez3284 Parehas tayo! Banana apple din ang meryenda. Uy, merong murang apple sa Hypermarket. 125 lang or mas mura pa yung 10 pcs hehe.
      Half cup rice din me. Hihi.

    Doc simula po ng matagpuan kita sa utube na inspired n ako mag reduced ng weight..August 2020 ako ng start ..diabetic ako may hypothyroidism acid reflux at pcos..thank you doc last april 2021 normal n po ang laboratory ko pati fbs at Hb1ac..at un weight ko na 62-65kls now 53kls n lng..low carb lng ako at exercise..ang height ko ay 5" at ang BMI ko now is 22...at isa p po doc im 52 years old...THANK YOU SO MUCH po talaga..slowly but surely po ang ginawa kong pagdadiet .hindi ako nag keto or FAD diet or crash diet nakinig ako sau..at un exercise n sinusundan ko ay un kay Joanna Soh..thanks ulit Doc..

    Ako dati 90 kilos now 74 kilos natutuwa ako kc nag wowork un diet ko every month nag lose ako ng kilos happy na ko dun di naman kc minamadali ang pag lose weight

    I know that the safest calorie count to lose weight for women is no lower that 1200 calories. We want to make sure that we don't lose our muscle mass, because our muscles give us the leaner physique that we want.

      It is not about the calories deficit alone. it matters most about your macros, micros and fiber balance to have a healthy diet or as what you call the safest. Let me explain in more simplistic way, the average number of calories you expend per day is what we called Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). To estimate it, it's easiest to use a TDEE calculator such as: www.freedieting.com/tools/ca...calculator.htm
      Keep in mind this number is only an estimate. What your real TDEE is can be found out by monitoring your weight and calorie intake over time.
      Note that:
      1g protein = 4 calories
      1g dietary fat = 9 calories
      1g carb = 4 calories
      In order to lose weight, you have to subtract a moderate amount of calories from your TDEE, for example 500 calories. However, macronutrient intake has a minimum requirement on protein(0.4~0.7g per lb of bodyweight), and dietary fat(0.3~0.5g per lb of bodyweight) and the rest of the calories can take up your carbs.
      Some people do better on higher carb intakes while other people do better on moderate or lower carb intakes. It is not necessary to set a specific numbers for each macro, what matters is that the total calories with MINIMUM fat and protein are achieved.
      Your diet should contain enough macronutrients, micronutrients and fiber. General recommendation for fiber is 38 g /day for male, and 25g/day for female.
      As a general guideline for sugars try to keep added sugars limited to 10% of total calories or less. The sugars that are naturally present in whole fruits, vegetables and dairy do not fall under this rule, you can be much more liberal with those. Reducing added sugar intake to 5% or less may provide additional benefits.
      Eating predominantly whole and minimally processed foods is generally a good idea. This doesn't mean that processed foods always have to be avoided. Processed foods can be part of a healthy diet. Focus on getting enough macronutrients, micronutrients and fiber.
      A simple guideline for good health is to eat at least 500 grams of vegetables and fruit combined per day. Higher intakes likely provide additional benefits.
      In order to get an idea of your micronutrient intake you can occasionally use the website www.cronometer.com. Keep in mind that it's not absolutely necessary to reach 100% of each micronutrient every day. I do not recommend checking your micronutrient intake daily, it’s not necessary.

      That information according to University studies shown that women who eat 1200 cals or less gain more weight after what they lose due to the body unable to stabilise during the maintenance phase. Also, you lose muscle mass which lowers your metabolism. When I was overweight weighing 87 kgs, 160 I'm height at 43% body fat and 26% muscle mass, my nutritionist and doctor advised me to follow 2000 calories diet and ensure through my daily activities of walking and strength training that I maintain 2500 calories burned which means I am in 500 calories deficit. Within 6 months, I lost 28 kgs, 14% body fat and my muscle mass is now 38%. If you eat fewer calories, you will not sustain a lifestyle based on 1200 calories instead you will end up setting yourself up for failure. Your diet and physical activities are the main keys to a maintainable healthy body. Remember the higher your muscle mass the higher your metabolic rate which means you can eat at a healthy 2000 calories and enjoy your life without starving yourself. My aim is to be 55 kgs with 15% body fat and 42-44% muscle mass while still eating 2000 calories.

    Just want to put it out there, maraming mga Pinoy hindi nila alam nagsasuffer sila ng senyas o sintomas ng eating disorder. Hindi alam ng marami na sa lahat ng mental disorders, ito ang pinaka-nakamamatay dahil sa mga long-term effects ng mga ginawa nilang pagdidiyeta. Hindi ko maintindihan bakit marami sa mga nasa fad diets group ng mga Pinoy ang gusto maging underweight. Literal na nasisiyahan sila at nagpopost na underweight na sila.
    If you can't have a good relationship with food, time to get professional help.

      Maraming factors. Number one talaga lagi genes, lifestyle, diet. Unfortunately kasama ako SA tabain. So I changed my diet, lifestyle and obviously work for me. Bumaba timbang ko Ng 20 klgs. Through Zumba at iniwasan ko sobrang carbs at sweets. Dapat forever na ito otherwise babalik ulit me SA pagiging obese or yo-yo dieting

    Very informative doc. I tried eating less than 1200 calories and nawalan ako ng period, nalagas buhok ko and nag-dry lips ko. Wala rin akong energy especially pag nagwowork out ako. Napansin yun nung trainer ko sa gym, since then sinabihan niya ako to eat up.

    Ako Doc, nag start ako nag diet April 26, 2020. 67 kgs po ako. Yong kinakain ko po more on green leafy vegetables and fish, hinde kc ako kumakain ng karne, no rice na din po. Now my weight 55 kgs, exercise ko po tennis twice a wk.

    Dahil sa tiyaga at pagod ko sa pag exercise I'm now 52 kgs from 64 kgs. Nagdiet din ako paminsan minsan haha kaso ang hirap lalo ako ang nagluluto dito sa bahay😅 mahirap magstick sa diet so pag napapasarap kain ko i work out more. Pero nowadays i don't take sugar anymore so no sweets for me cguro paminsan minsan pwede ko naman ireward anh sarili ko😁

    71 kgs po ako nung Jan.and now 66kgs.everyday po ako nag eexercise 30mins yun.3times a day po ako ng rrice peru one cup lng.iniwasan ko ang mttmis at fatty foods.malake tulong lo Kai bumaba cholesterol ko at naging normal sugar ko without taking medications.nd oo gnun kbilis ang pgbwas ko.     As per dr jamnadas doc naging fully developed ang brain ng tao dahil sa protein at fats doc yun talaga daw ang essential ng katawan ng tao at hindi ang carbs kasi yung carbs was discovered only ten thousand years ago noong nag agriculture na ang tao.

    ngtaka din ako sa 800 calorie diet na yan.for me mahirap sya. Ngtry ako ng 800 calorie diet na yan bumaba ang pottasium ko.Bagsak tlga katawan ko. Di konna inulit. May pcos ako at insulin resistance ang diet ko now e less to no sugar, less carbs more on protein,veggies at fruits. At exercise tlga kht low impact. 😃

    I did LCIF i dont count calories. Sugar is the culprit in gaining weight. Rice or carbs then turn to sugar. I cut rice. But i sub it with cauliflower or cabbage. But i still have meat. Chicken or fish. I avoided starch. But sometimes kumakain ako pero ndi madami. And i think gradual sya kasi from 73 to 60 kg in 5 months. I also drink ginger tea. And spinach is very nice.

    Fasting talaga. Hehehe. Proven since the old times.
    EDIT. I did a lot of fad diets in the past and after a month or 2 babalik ako sa dati. I have been doing IF fot more than a year now and I have keep off the excess weight though nag seasaw sya na minsan tumataas ng 2 kilos which is normal. I can also eat whag I want and di gaya dati na napaparusahan ako dahil di ko makain gusto ko, I learned discipline din, yung kahit nakikita ko sila kumakain hindk ako natetempt. IF rocks. And syempre excercise.

    Doc paki explain naman yong blood type related sa pagkain . B positive type ako kaya di na makain ng chicken kaya I ate more beef meat at saka protien powder, soy milk and tufo . Tks in advance.

    Hi po Doc! Tanong po lng po bakit sa edad ko po na 55 y o ay hirap na mgpababa ng timbang? Hindi na po ako kumakain ng rice sa gabi..breakfast is biscuit or tinapay with 3 in 1 coffee tas lunch bihira lng din po ako kumakain ng rice sa gabi wla dn rice pero kumakain ako ng biscuit at tubig o turmeric tea bago matulog..ang gusto ko po sana maalis ay etong bulging belly fat ko po na prang salbabida na..pls po Doc hoping na mpnsin nyo po eto pra mtulungan nyo po ako sa problema ko..isa po akong dh..salamat po in advance sa pgtugon nyo sa problem ko

    how about ung paginum ng slimming tea like biofit tea every 3 days masama ba doc...para lang maplus out ung kinain sa loob ng 3days kc pagprutas at gulay parang hnd sapat na malabas ung toxin sa katawan.
