Doesn't surprise me that he was a fan of Free . That was one great Rock and Roll band. Bad Company got more commercial success, much more actually, but I always loved Free even more. To me they were the perfect rock band. They took a simple formula with no gimmicks , no bullshit , just 4 guys playing bluesy rock and did something original and memorable with it. There aren't many bands that can do that these days.

Bon scott was a wild child of rock and roll. He pushed rocking to the limits. But loved to drink wich is a lot of singers downfall. Who knows where he would be today. As he rocked the world. I always thought he got his stage moves from rod stewart. But his songs were all his. We will miss you always bon. Your voice will always be what made ac.dc famous. So amazing that Bon was the 2nd singer (Out of two that sang at the same time) for the group : Edison Lighthouse - "My Love Grows Where my Rosemary Goes"

She's being very kind to his memory, leaving out the voracious womanizing she must have suffered through. Not bashing Bon, but if what I've heard is true, not many females were safe around him.

Great interview with Irene, she seems like a lovely lady. I always thought there was a little Alex Harvey in Bon and i'd figured the Young brothers were into Free which brings me to a track Paul Kossoff's new band "Back Street Crawler" recorded in 1975 from the album "The Band Plays On" titled " It's a long way down to the top" hmmm sound familiar, cheeky Bon.

When alcohol becomes first love, it's quite a mess for a human being, a self-inflicted mess. When I was younger I was lucky enough to have a warning bell ringing loudly in my head at one point... and I quit that shit.
