Yeah, the guy was badass, a true legend, yet, very humble. It is rather nice when He says he was a driver and was hired by ACDC when said He could sing. He clearly shows that He wasn't expecting to be the great singer that He came to be.
@Pickled. He could be silly he could act dumb but he could also tell a deep meaningful story about his life that is way too often overlooked in what made his time with AC/DC so special
He was a great guy, full of humor and caring ❤ I use to hang out with them in Melbourne in the 70's, they use to play for free at the city square. My mum would always freak out cause I was 14 at the time. Bon was a gentleman and a fantastic guy ❤
He was Australia. Everything we love about our country and culture - the laid back ways, the larrikinism, the kindness, enjoying ourselves, having a laugh, having fun, our accent - he represented it all. What a beautiful soul who gave so much in such a short time.
@@thomp5347 I was recently watching the video for Cold Chisel "Cheap Wine" with Jimmy Barnes singing. Yes, he has this amazing Scottish burr. Sorta Scottish mixed with Australian.

Bon Scott was, is, and will always be one of the most coolest, most awesome, most greatest, and most legendary rock and roll frontman's of all-time R.I.P Bon Scott 1946-1980
Unreal and effortless talent… Bon Scott era AC/DC is so much more than a rock band… It’s one of the purest, most unbridled forms of angst and energy that mankind has ever produced. Long live Bon Scott, long live the REAL sound of AC/DC 🤘
Bon will always be my favorite front man cause he wasn't fake, he was the same on stage as he was in real life and that is why he will always be my favorite front man in a band. Period.
Factsss I swear sometimes I don’t think I was supposed to be born in the generation I was! The talent that the bands from the 70’s and 80’s and even farther back from that had is so untouchable! I wish I got to experience shows like this in person 😭 not that artists now don’t have talent cuz SOME of them do but the energy in music from these older eras are just untouchable
@@Lerxstification Once they used everything in Bon's notebook, they were never really special again. They were just too big to fail. There's a reason 80% or more of their live set are songs from before 1979.
Bon Scott!! So much charisma , but next to that he was one of those few rockstars, who had the qualities that were extremely rare in this business; humor, kindness, elegance & a lot of charm!!!
How humble can you get when asked what he thought about himself as the others in the band were talking him up . Do you think your a Star ? ahh sometimes i see stars hahahahahahahaha

good old 70s... ohh how I miss it. Bon Scott still doing live shows. Life was great. The music was great Bon!! You have lived an legacy, and made beautiful music. I love AC/DC!!
I think more than his voice what DC lacked after his death was his song writing. Love Brian but the songs lack the danger and bite of Bons. He was the lighting bolt in between the AC and DC.
yes, more raw, raunchy, on the edge lyrics with Bon. I often wonder if they would have become as huge as they are without Brian though, becoming more "moderate " lyrically possibly expanded their audience base, but I still prefer Bon, my listening results in about 85% Bon Scott era, 15% Brian Johnson era.

Bon was scottish though. Granted the accents are very similar between him and the rest of acdc.
I wonder if he could still speak with a Scottish accent in his later years. He sounds like a broad Australian accent here.
How did Bon Scott accent sound? Was it Scottish? Australian? Or both of them?
He was young when he came over, but he did retain a very slight Scottish burr. Not as much as Jimmy Barnes though.
