MDB, Venusaur is basically guaranteed to crit with Razor Leaf. Crits are based off base speed in gen 1, and the high crit chance moves are guaranteed to crit i believe above 65 base speed. However, it can miss or fail based on the 1/256 glitch. Just accept he's going to crit you if it rolls razor leaf over vine whip. Dammit you had me excited when you rejected the Helix fossil and then went to the Dome Fossil. But then you rejected that one and went right back to the Helix. So I am once more asking you to take the fossil opposite the one you say just to see who notices. And I know people last time said you already did. I checked and couldn't find it. Where did that happen? All I know is it was addressed as a "it would be funny if I did" once, but that's it. So, MDBAMA - uhh... do you like cheese?
Yes, Starmie and Slowbro are psychic type in gen 1 Edit: also you said tackle missed due to the 256 glitch but that's incorrect, tackle isn't 100% accurate in gen 1
Venasaur has a 99.6% chance to crit due to speed higher than 64 since the crit chance on high critical hit ratio moves are base speed/64. It's supposed to be 100% if 64 or higher, but there's a 1/256 chance it won't crit.

I was shocked cause this was the time it actually made sense to use the fossil lol. Also no Lapras.
I’m about to do this same challenged when yellow legacy comes out, early old rod and better fishing encounters will make it interesting.
"Hey, if we get to Cinnabar Island, that that would be a really great place to quickly grind them up!"
Water Pokémon are some of my favorite in the games. This sounds like it’ll be a cool run.
What fossil did you take?
I'm so thankful you kept my boy Blastoise ❤❤❤
MDBAMA: When are you bringing back MDBAMA?
Pokemon [insert version here] but only using Route 1 Pokemon. Starters don't count, and some of these guys finally get some love.
Who didn't like cheese lol there's so many different kinds of cheese that asking if someone likes cheese is like asking someone if they like music lol
Gotta say...I love that you used a Vaporeon. My second favorite eveelution
Pokemon Black or White with only one Sandile! Great vid as ever MahDryBread!
These "only type" runs are great. When is "only fighting type" coming?????
So did you decide on the Helix Fossil or the Dome Fossil? It looked like you were deciding between them and I wasn't paying attention
I knew Starmie would be a beast if you used it.
Two questions:
1. Why didnt you buy the Magikarp outside of Mt. Moon?
2. Which fossil did you take?
I know I say this every video, but I'd love to see a Falinks run.
Yes, Starmie and Slowbro are psychic type in gen 1
Edit: also you said tackle missed due to the 256 glitch but that's incorrect, tackle isn't 100% accurate in gen 1
Here's an idea Pokemon Platinum with only a team of Grass types pokemon
I like how you almost took the Dome Fossil this time.
How come you didnt get the lapras after the silph co rival fight?
Wait a minute... That Helix Fossil is actually usable this time!
Well, so much for that idea. Oh well.
Blastoise, Starmie, and Lapras are all good choices for soloing the elite 4. Golduck and Gyarados aren't bad either.
One the easier gen 1 challenges.
Venasaur has a 99.6% chance to crit due to speed higher than 64 since the crit chance on high critical hit ratio moves are base speed/64. It's supposed to be 100% if 64 or higher, but there's a 1/256 chance it won't crit.
What is a specialty item that you love to eat? Or a certain more 'elegant' meal that you prepare?
I probably would have taken Omastar, Poliwrath and Tentacruel above Cloyster, Dewgong and Slowbro, but you can’t really go wrong with gen 1 water ☺️
Happy to see Starmie used in a run. ❤
