Soviet AT rifles are the reason I lose most of my light german armor. Panzer 1s or Panzer 2 Cs are very vulnerable to these rifles and from a decent range as well. They even post a treath to the sides of panzer 35(t)s and panzer 38(t)s and if you are really in a bad spot, they'll knock out panzer 3s and panzer 4s as well
Id really like to see an AT field gun guide, either general tactics like where to hide or whether or not to transport them via car (or which cars can tow them, which can be towed, etc) because i love the whole kinda...ragtag AT squad sneaking around and killing tanks (wish you covered later game AT squads too) but something about having a little trap laid out with a hidden field gun is just *chefs kiss*
I also wanna say that it's not an L in StuIG. it's a capital "i". StuIG 33B stands for Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz 33B. This means "Assault infantery gun/artillery" depending on how you want to translate Geschütz.

Regarding CTA: GOHO, Hey Puggo i just found your channel and would like to say I love ur guides so far!! Personally, I'd love a video talking about your favorite/best units to use/go for in conquest for all three nations. Keep up the great work! Love from Israel
I sent a message for this comment, but don't see my response posted to you. Thanks so much for your kindness! Really glad you're enjoying these videos. I love the suggestion for videos! I will for sure be doing fav/best units to use in future videos. Feel free to drop more ideas. Thanks again!
@@PuggoRebornChannel ohhhh gotcha. Well you do you man. I get it. Video games are a time wasting tunnel of doom lol. Enjoyed in moderation. Whenever you come back, I’d you do, a video on destroying tanks and properly aiming/positioning anti tank weapons would be a HUGE help. Seeing the enemy before they see me is my biggest struggle right now. Cheers 🥂
A lot of these tests are pretty silly, because the armor model for vehicles in CTA GoH is very realistic and oftentimes different parts of the tank, including the front, will have variable armor thicknesses. This is especially important for something like AT rifles because there is very little post-penetration damage when the shot penetrates so you actually have to hit where vital components are. The 14.5mm historically proved to be a significant threat well into the mid-late war and it can be used effectively if you know where to aim. Even on late war tanks it can destroy tracks and on several tanks it can penetrate at weird angles directly into the crew compartment. Panzer IV's and Panthers are vulnerable from the side, do not underestimate the power of an AT rifle when it hits the right part of the tank. If you know the internals of the tanks you can fairly consistently destroy even medium tanks if you set up your AT rifles properly, although you would still want a HEAT warhead for most situations. Even still, into the late game they are very capable of preventing enemy light vehicles from approaching, and I often prefer to take them over a light AT gun due to their versatility and stealth.
Sounds like the only reason it's silly is bc of your knowledge of this weapon. I would venture to guess most ppl don't understand these things like you. However, I respect what you're saying for sure! Feel free to leave anything you feel is best for folks to know and I will pin it. Thanks for the feedback
@@PuggoRebornChannel oh don’t get me wrong, these tests are great for showing the basics of what the weapon does. I come from a background of historical knowledge, so I know that things I assume are common knowledge often aren’t; sometimes I forget not everyone knows about every minute detail of world war two firearms/equipment haha.
@@WaluigiIV haha no doubt, I love talking to guys like you who have the knowledge of this stuff. Truly Fascinating. Would love to do videos with the history of WWII, but not big enough of a game to hold the attention. Feel free to drop knowledge for ppl man. At the very least I'll learn some things haha
U never want purhase AT rifle squad at late period of war for 190 mp. It's some sort of overkill to counter sdkfz 221, if u afraid to prevent of ruin game by light armor car, wich crushing infantry like in GTA. Even if u kill sdkz221, then this AT rifle aquad will lose combat to any junk inf squad like Fusilier or auflerer. The same logic applies to AT rifle detachment. It's to expensive (65mp). U spent to much only for not take risk crushed by rushing sdkfz 221 at the start of the game.
Dude Thanks for your effort and your videos, THEY ARE FANTASTIC
Awesome vid brother!
I love your guides, they've really helped me get into CTA. I hope you make more videos eventually, they're really good!
Thanks!

Very helpful thank you 💚
Would love a guide on armor pens since some tsnks I have no idea how to penetrate
I have plans for this!
...and infantry engagement too at different distance and cover. I predict that in late period of war there are huge holes in balance.
Very useful in deep tests!
It's been a blast to do!
Great guide, going to watch the entire series now😊
Awesome, more coming within month timeframe
Very well done.
Very helpful thank you
Great work! Evacuete its - quick RUN BACK!!)))
Thanks a lot for the guide!
It seems from what is shown in general you need to be very close on the 25-50m to do damage to most tanks?
Hey man. Thank you for the video. Are you continuing to upload GoH guides?
I would like too. Just been busy with life. Thanks for the support! If there was a video you'd like to see feel free to let me know

Much appreciated brotha, I will keep this in mind!
Why do you see the health damage at 3:30?? I don't see such stats in my game! What am I doing wrong?

Agreed
Doubt an anti tank rifle like that could be fired from anything other than a prone position with the bipod extended.
agreed lol
Type "shoulder firing PTRS-41" into youtube lmfao that one crazy guy pulls it of
