    Thank you. The rice cooker for camping was my main objective! Great video 👍

    This was quite timely. We're thinking of picking up a battery bank and I think you helped us decide on which model. Very thorough. I love all the data points you give.

      I'm glad you found it helpful. Ecoflow products are great! If you decide to get an Ecoflow that's not the River 2 Pro, I can provide you with a discount code giving you an extra 5% off. Just let me know!

    Of course the info I was looking for was riiiiight at the very end, about how the x-boost functioned, which is how I assumed it might (less of a 'steady surge' and more of a 'step down your appliances, IF they even have that capability to run at reduced power'). Thank you for including that info and all of your different tests and examples, really appreciate it :)

      I wish if Ecoflow explained it better on their website about the functionality. It took a bit of digging and testing to figure it out. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the vid. Wife and I just bought 2 of these and 220 solar panel. We live in an apartment in S Fla. Can't run a gas generator if we lose power due to a hurricane. So we opt for this route. My worry was my Box freezer that is full of food and my fridge. Losing all that food would be bad. I ran my Box freezer for 12 hrs "If I remember right" On one full charge. Of course I would not need to do that if we lost power. Only till if turns off and then in a few hours plug it back in to keep it frozen. Watched a guy run his fridge for longer. Great battery for the price.

      That's a great plan to have 2 battery pack. You can go somewhere with electricity to charge one while the other one is used to keep your fridge running. Thanks for watching!

    Great review! There are many other around-750-Wh batteries, but it looks like supporting surge 1600W output is almost a class-exclusive in under 1kWh battery packs.

    • @SirCampalotOutdoors
      @SirCampalotOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure! But I think people should get it for the bigger battery capacity. I wouldn't count on the surge support too much. Thanks for watching!

      doesn't look like x-boost works at all, looks more like a marketing gimmick. As suggested, get a proper battery for what your use case is. I bought this to power an electric cooler and bundling with the new 220W panel, it was great value. If you need to run anything that heats, 2000W should be sufficient across the board. I wanted to get a 1500-2000W bank to use a induction burner so I don't have to use butane anymore, but I think I'll stick to butane. Bigger battery = heavier weight = need bigger car. I should be able to live with this driving my sedan. I was looking at Jackery for the longest time thinking EcoFlow was outside my price range, but EcoFlow prices aggressively with a better product.

    Good video. I luv that you tested the rice cooker😊. I wanted to get something like this to power a space heater in like (-2°), would the eco flow river2 b3 be able to do that? Thank you in advance.

      If you want run a space heater, I suggest you get an ecoflow delta! Thanks for watching!

    Can you combine the river pro with another river product, like charge it with some extra watts from a river mini on a clouded day? Can you charge a river mini from a river pro and vis a versa?

    • @SirCampalotOutdoors
      @SirCampalotOutdoors  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes of course! However you will loose some power (efficiency) when using a battery station to charge another battery station. If you turn on AC on a power station, it takes about 5wh to run the inverter. Though you are not loosing much power when charging from one to another, it is not recommended. Instead, Ecoflow developed extra batteries for the delta series that you might want to consider. Thanks for watching!

    Great review. I just want to know that 750Wh battery backup translates to how many mah?? I just don't know how to calculate that and I can only understand in mah capacity, can you clarify on it.

    • @PWCDN
      @PWCDN ปีที่แล้ว +2

      without knowing your voltage, it is impossible to calculate but based on 12V @ 768W, its 64000mah. 24v is half that at 32000mah. if you need any other voltage value, just google "768Wh to mah", it brought me to a calculator on rapidtables where you just punch in the wh and v and gives you the mah. Might be useful for you in the future.

    • @SirCampalotOutdoors
      @SirCampalotOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for replying! And yes, Ecoflow does not specify the voltage of the battery. It could be 12V or 24V.

    I just ordered my first EcoFlow product, the RIver 2 Pro. I don't know anything about solar charging, I did see that I have to buy a wire/connection because it will not come with any when it arrives. Can someone help me with the cheapest solar panel and wire set I need? It doesn't have to be a foldable solar panel for me. Thanks in advence!

    • @SirCampalotOutdoors
      @SirCampalotOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome to the Ecoflow club! If you're looking for the cheapest and do not need it to be portable, then you can just buy rigid solar panels - amzn.to/43kCilI . You have to get the XT60 to MC4 cable to hook up to your solar panel - amzn.to/43eNJeS . If you have 2 or more solar panels, you will need to hook it up in parallel or series and will need extra MC4 cables. I would just get 1 solar panel since you are new to solar charging and see how it goes. Let me know if you have any questions!
