    Excellent video, I had fun, as always!
    There's another way to charge from the sun, even at night :).
    Just connect a charged battery with a voltage in the range for solar charging to the EcoFlow connector for solar charging.
    This way, for example, you can charge another battery separately during the day and in the evening/night when the sun goes down, you can charge the portable power station from the added battery instead of from AC power. Or have this additional battery ready in a charged state when it's a bad day for solar charging as a replacement for the sun.

      @AveRage_Joe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Man! Appreciate that! Ya you could 100% charge from another battery!💥🤘

    • @ahaveland
      @ahaveland ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AveRage_Joe then you need another battery to charge that battery, and another battery to charge that one too... etc etc 🙂
      Sooner or later, we just run out of batteries and have make do with salads.

    Hey Ecoflow, I hope you have been watching this practical review of your product and reading the comments as well.
    To improve this product and similar portable power stations, it would be great to place replaceable rubber corners (not expensive) in areas scratched from drops as an accessory for users.

    Come on AJ them "Barrel connectors" are 5.5mm x 2.1mm in size the first outside diameter and the 2nd internal diameter and is the main size used in the wired security camera industry. there r many other sizes of barrel connectors in the world and we all know laptop power connectors can come in many different sizes cos they are all a$$hole manufacturers.

      @@AveRage_Joe BTW buddy i forgot to add, that the chinese sh|t manufactured barrel plugs both genders will only handle 3 amps so be warned, I have used many of them and anything over 3 amp just stopped working and cos i dont have much stock i pulled them apart and soldered wires to the barrel and pin part that stayed intact after cutting into them.

    Guess why I'm here? Because I dropped my EcoFlow. Of course the outside looks great but I am wondering if I did any damage to the inside. Is the power station going to catch on fire if it is internally damaged? Having it just not work anymore is nice and safe. But lithium can be dangerous so what are you guys think?

    DC5521 ports could be used to directly power telescope equipment. Eliminates the need for the power brick that comes with most telescope mounts and devices.

    I’m asking my favorite TH-cam channels a question. I have an off grid main electrical panel powered by two 240 volt LV6548’s (Sp6548 SunGold Power), can I add 7 - 215 watt 240VAC Enphase micro inverter to my off grid panel without damaging my SunGold inverters?

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I honeslty dont know. I wanna say I read some comments about doing it but I cannot confirm that. I dont think it would hurt them as I would think the micro inverters would sync to the inverter then take over the load. But again I cant say

    This whole drop test video is null and void. Every drop test must be redone to verify its validity. I mean, at the end of the video he shows pulling off the protective shipping layer. THAT's what protected it from all these drops! Those peels are like a magical shield protecting the contents. Have you ever seen products shipped over seas *without* the peel on them!?!? OMG!! They are in pieces. BUT!! But, those that have the peels on them, immaculate condition.
    I demand a redo!!!!

    When the load (i.e. heater in your case) is too large, the power station adjusts the output voltage & current to prevent the power station from being over loaded. This means your heater is not being provided with sufficient V to operate as it was designed to operate. The power station is NOT outputting 1600W (e.g. 85.5V * 9.224A =.788.65W ≠ 1600W) The way that they accomplish that electrical magic is most likely by changing the switch mode power supply duty cycle--that's my best guess--which means they have made it automatically programmable based on over-load conditions--which is a 'smart' feature--but not so smart, if you were trying to power a motor that needs a lot of power or it will be ruined.

    55/21 cables are for connection to things like Mini-computers, CPAP machine's, telescope mounts, 12V appliances, etc. I am a little surprised you are not aware of that?

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im surprised as well lol So after I plugged in that 18650 charger....my head exploded and realized all the things Ive used in the past that could possibly use that port! Honestly tho, id say most things I use nowa days has a usb port and cable so I actually dont see this very often. I like that you could power a CPAP or medical devices direct tho!!! Im a big fan for that!!🤘

  • @ab_ab_c
    @ab_ab_c ปีที่แล้ว

    800W output and 960 Wh energy capacity isn't really enough power & energy to do much, imo. It should at least run a microwave or a 1500W heater, imo---especially for 600$...

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  ปีที่แล้ว

      True and I dont even know if I would use a modern microwave. Maybe my old one we have, dont think there is anything newer then 1980 in it lol.

    Cool vidoe joe ,i was just thinking that if you put out two sticks you could sting up the solar panels in-between them them, you could get the sun in morning and later in the afternoon

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool idea! I wonder if that could work. I did some solar panel testing and it does produce over 100w on the back side🤔

    • @Thebigmanmetaldetecting
      @Thebigmanmetaldetecting ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AveRage_Joethat what the one I used to use for camping was double sided one side produced 20% more so about 1pm if I could be bothered I'd turn it round also with the air flowing across the panel cools it down and make it more efficient,I'm going to miss your videos(terminal cancer) but hopefully I'll be watching from the other side lol
