    Hi. Could you explain why, in this case 21:21, the station will be powered for 8-9 hours instead of 12-13 hours? Based on my calculations, 47 multiplied by 8 equals 376, not 637(which is 83%). I understand that the station requires some energy to operate, but does it really need that much? Or could it be due to the station's efficiency? I bought a new station and with a 100% output of 53W, which lasts only 8 hours and 15 minutes. Why is its performance so poor?

      The lights I use for filming are old and vary the pull of power they do. They also do read well. As you saw everything else looked ok for power time with this station.

    You mentioned several times that you cannot add an external battery. Yes you can. Just connect the appropriate size battery to the solar input and you are good to go.

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews
      @Wanderer001_Reviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That was more about how the version 1 had the ability to buy and expansion battery that could plug right into the unit.

      @@Wanderer001_Reviews According to the manual the solar input voltage range is 11-50v. So all you need is a battery, or multiple batteries, wired to output 12v, or 24v, e.g., find a mating connector for the River 2 solar input, and voila, more power.

      Most likly not without topping off the battery in the day. My reletve has the Delta 2 and said they got 2 night out of it at 8hrs each night.

    This is quite a complete review, although you failed to mention the 5 yr warranty. That's big, to me. Also, there is no solar charging cable included - that is not cool.
    Price today is 399 on EF site.

      Thank you for the feedback. I tend to forget about things like that doing a hardware review. My thoughts on the no solar charging cable being included is that most of the solar panles EF sales come with them.

    What makes you think pure sine wave is required for your computer? Did you know that most UPSes are not pure sine? The psu in your computer converts power form AC to DC before it get to your motherboard anyway. So AC power does not touch your motherboard... Pure sine may be better for your psu but it doesn't do anything for your internal components.

      Did not think it was required, more of a nice thing to have and one less thing to worry about.

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews
      @Wanderer001_Reviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It does support passthrough charging. I would say it depends on your desktop. I have a gaming laptop but a good gaming desktop can draw more power than my laptop can put out.

    • @JamesShisiah

      @@Wanderer001_Reviews Great. I intend to use it as a UPS. We usually have random power blackouts which last 2 minutes to a couple of hours. I will purchase the unit and find out. Even if it doesn't power the desktop, at least it will keep my Starlink online.

    so tbh, i love the ecoflow river 2 pro in this stage, with only 1 monitor and desktop computer, i can pull 45 watts just idling at like 10 hours at least, with 800 watts maximum, thats very good.
    now, i have my full rig up with both monitors and i can get like 7 or 8 hours with only at 65 to maybe 70 watts. giving me that amount of runtime. only for idle. if i was on full load, then i may have 3 hours to play gta 5 on my pc. if my pc was going for a full load of 300 watts. though thats not the case. so this is very portable, and yet, i don't have solar panels which is 220 bifacial solar panels, i use this MAINLY for my desktop computer, and maybe a laptop computer if i go out. i have to take out the battery because it tends to get very hot. and at 100% i can run my laptop computer for 15 watts at least a days worth.
