Instead of building in garbage speakers, Carpuride should support better Bluetooth Connection. My W701 worked for 3 months ok-ish, now i am no longer able to establish a Bluetooth audio Connection to my Kenwood Car Radio, which works excellent with my Android Smartphone.
I just purchased the 901 Plus. The 9-inch version, and I love it for my older car.
The Android 12 runs fast and I'm able to download any app from the Google Play Store.
Way better than the regular Android Auto devices.
I must say, although I will finish watching the video, I had to stop at less than four minutes to comment on the extremely irritable and distracting background music. I cannot listen to music and concentrate on a speech at the same time. Not everyone is the same. It’s always better when you are giving instruction to never have any distractions in the background.
I am having Catpuride W701 plus. Is it possible to use external gps antenna or external gps signal from mobile to use navigation in Androi 12 mode

One question. You mentioned that the device does not have GPS. Does it mean that I can not use any navigation programs installed via Playstore on that device?
Any way to use the GPS from my phone or an external GPS with this device?

I've had my W701 Plus for a few weeks as well and I was a bit disappointed that Carpuride doesn't allow customization of the boot logo like they offer on the original and Pro models, which run on Linux. I also think that the startup time is a bit lagging.
The second drawback is that there is no option for a steering wheel controller.
Overall, it's a decent product, but for driving, I think my Pro model is a better choice.
Can I ask, since the device has wifi, will it be possible to connect it to a wifi-cameras hotspot?
Yes it can as long as it is on 2.4GHz network
@@klgadgettv and still have internet access? If the unit gets internet from the phone via WiFi? Or does it support Bluetooth tethering?
