Props to you for still doing videos with 2 toddler boys running around. Anyone that complains obviously has no idea what it’s like to do other things while watching kids!
Not necessarily. I have two kids… it gives me a bit of anxiety. I’m trying to relax here 😅 but I do give her props for even being able to focus with all that’s going on. I just can’t.
I did the second version of this video first where you spent time apologizing for the noise/distractions from this one and have to say that I prefer this version! As a first time Mom that’s 34 weeks pregnant with a boy, this is showing me what to expect! Thank you for not taking this one down.
Lori, it's for women like you that I'm still showing up. THANK YOU. Congrats on 34 wks with your son on the way!
that’s exactly what i feel too 👍🏼 it’s so beautiful to see how creative the kids play. would be so sad if they’d just silently sit in one corner with a smartphone
I prefer this one too, thank you! Your workouts are awesome and I love that your kids are around, it is real life❤
I came here from the updated video. I absolutely love the real life of this video! The kids running around and the dog making an appearance is just so comforting for me. ♥️
Minnie, you rock. Women like you are why I stick around! Thanks for your encouragement and I'm honored to be your trainer. Hope you have snagged my full prenatal program to save time and take all the guess work out (it's FREE and I use it myself!) th-cam.com/video/bfGBdysywAE/w-d-xo.html
I love it!!! REAL MOMMY LIFE!!! ❤️ These all felt great! What a great reminder that my environment while working out doesn't have to be "perfect" without my kids around! It's a reminder of WHY I am trying to be fit and healthy... Not just for looks but most importantly to be strong in my everyday life!! Thank you!! ❤️
As a mom of 4 (soon to be 5) I love the complete real-ness of this video. As I'm doing it, my 4 year old son is also running police and fire trucks around my mat making All the noises 😂 It's real life.
I also want to say thank you for doing these videos. I had lost 150 lbs before getting pregnant with baby number 5 and I was a nervous wreck. worried about losing my fitness while also worried about what was safe during pregnancy. I feel so connected to u being also a lover of God, married to an Army Veteran with 4 kids. I can't thank you enough for your program. You are an answered prayer for me.
I really appreciate that your kids are in this video. Especially considering its a prenatal workout, those bothered can take it as a training opportunity lol. You can't count on working out while they sleep with multiple children. Extremely relatable. Mine climb on top of me like little baby weights lol. They make good makeshift kettbells too as toddlers hehe
This is exactly what I needed today at 35 weeks!
I am so glad you did not shoo away or edit out your little minions. It’s nice to know I’m not the only mom trying to do this with littles running circles around me!
I love that you have your kids running around in all your videos! I find it oddly relaxing... maybe because I can hear them without having a little body crawling on me ;D. You show that it's still possible to take time to care for yourself in the midst of all the craziness. Also, these stretches feel amazing. Thank you!
I just wanted to say that the "background noise" is the sound of Gods blessings❤️ I loved the stretch and I love hearing your little boys playing so well together !
I've done your videos for my second and now third pregnancy and this is my preferred version of your hip and back release workout videos. My girls love watching your kids play while I do the workout and as a mom, it feels way more realistic. Almost like you and your kids are at my house doing this workout with me while your kids and my kids are playing in the background. It's awesome! Thank you so much!
Clearly you're a seasoned mom Suzie.
My 14 month old daughter loves watching the boys play in this video and then she starts running around and playing! This was a great stretch! Thank you!
Hiiiii, I just needed to tell you that you have made my pregnancy so incredibly wonderful. You inspire me every single day because I always think, “wow, I don’t even have one kid yet and I’m starting to make an excuse of why I can’t workout or eat well today. But look at you with all your kids making the time to workout, eat well, and make videos to share to help make the world a better place.” It really motivates me! Like, “if she’s not gonna take the excuse, than neither am I!” I’m six months pregnant and have been following you since my first trimester. Anyone who has anything negative to say about your incredible work is mistaken and needs to check themselves. You are a gift to the world and you have changed my life and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you. You've helped me safely stay fit and looking and feeling good throughout my whole pregnancy, and I’ve had little to no pain or discomfort. Most recently, I’m having some new symptoms of nerve pain (embarking on my third trimester), but thanks to your stretching videos I’ve been really focusing on this week, the symptoms have gotten so much better. God bless you and all your hard work. Also, I know what it’s like for my husband to be away on the road for work for weeks at a time, and it’s really hard and sad, so huge props to you for being so strong and still taking the time to help other women, on top of temporary-solo-parenting. Anyway, God bless you! Xoxo Hannah
Hannah, it's Ashley. Congratulations on 6 months along into your healthy pregnancy and taking such outstanding care of yourself (and your baby)! Thanks for resonating what it's like to be solo parenting for periods of time, I get it completely.
You are the queen of calm! I'm inspired not only by your energy level and strength during pregnancy, but also by your warm disposition toward your kids! I also appreciate the advice you give at the end of this video, I've been heeding it since the first time i watched this video 8 weeks ago and it does make getting out of bed easier in the mornings (and the 4 times i get up to pee every night). Thank you, Ashley!
Rachel, thanks for stopping by to share this with me and lift me up today. I know EXACTLY what that's like waking up several times per night to pee while pregnant and it's a lot mentally and emotionally to not have gotten full night's rest for so many months, BEFOER the newborn season arrives. You have my entire Free Prenatal Program, right? www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
My boyfriend asked “ how can she think with all that noise?” My reply “ she knows were they are and what they are doing. That is peaceful in itself.”
Right? thank you so much! And- for my updated version (no kids) of this workout you can use it here: th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
I could never tolerate this lol
I don't think people realize that you seriously become deaf to it lol at least, before kids I didn't get it. I had a friend with 4 babes, and it was always chaos around them. I admit I thought poorly of how she never intervened to quiet them. Not proud of that. Now I realize, she probably barely registered how loud they actually are lol I see it with my 2 toddlers now, how other people can be overwhelmed by them and I'm like "yeah, that's nothing..."
Officially 28 weeks and this was the PERFECT end to todays workout. I added the 9min total body DB workout just for an extra sweat and to lift some weights. Saturday I fell slid down the steps with my 2 year old in arms and my back and butt took the brunt of it all so this was a Perfect day to ease back in and be reminded of the BLESSING our little ones are. I APPRECIATE your boys just being themselves in this video it really encourages me as a soon to be mom of 2! You’re AMAZING Ash! Thank you for ALL you do!
Thank you so much for providing women with great free pre-natal content. I just saw you rerecorded this without kids and distractions. However, I prefer this one as it shows me I can take care of myself and exercise with toddlers running around. You are a great inspiration and thank you for keeping me going!
Lol I love the realness of the mom life in this video! I haven't experienced it myself yet because I am expecting my first, but I bet most moms can relate! Lol
Loved this video so much! I’m 35 weeks with my fourth so I know what it’s like to workout during chaos. I also feel that working out in front of your kids allows you to lead by example and show them how important self care is. Looking forward to the 12 week post pregnancy plan.
I started with your updated version of this video and immediately came to this one ! I’m sorry you had hate comments when you are only being helpful and real! I love this video way more … thanks for the realness and for being an amazing strong mom and woman! Don’t feel bad for the haters … we love you !
Ashley, you rock on with your bad self! You're inspiring, kids and all, and for your fans, you still fit these workouts in your busy schedule! Thank you!
I loved the boys running around! #reallife
These stretches felt great on my hips and back, but the last few on the ground were pretty uncomfortable for me at 37 weeks so I did my best to modify. Thanks for the great pregnancy videos!
I love this video thank you so much! I am 22 weeks pregnant now and this really helped release my back tension. I also love your kiddos in the background playing-my 5 year old son is always playing while I workout and it is real mom life. My son actually loves to climb on me when I'm in down dog or planking and I just see it as extra challenge! I also love to see how patient and sweet you are with your kids. Thank you again
My favorite stretching video thus far. It gives me such relief. Watching your precious kiddos living their best life is the cherry on top. ❤️
Thank you for your videos!!!
LOVE this video and the sweet kiddos. My little boy loves watching them while he "stretches" with me. Keep doing what you're doing!
Awesome to hear your son loves watching/joining in with you because he sees my boys! Thank you!
Thanks been suffering from pelvic girdle pain amd this helped alot
Love all of your stretching videos!!!
Elizabeth, I'm so glad you enjoy my stretching videos! If you do the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan, the Post Pregnancy Mobility routine (linked as a BONUS) at the bottom of each clickable calendar is 100% safe for postpartum recovery so you don't hurt your abs or pelvic floor. It's very active and not boring-type-slow like some other postnatal stretch routines you'll find. If you do the 10 Minute Plan in the future, it has the best Mobility Series (each 10 minutes) and will get you super flexible and doing splits. Then when you do Firm30 it has a few half & half workouts: the first half super burny and intense, the second half stretchy and flexy for injury prevention and feeling youthful. I'm excited for your 2024!!
Watching how calm you are with your boys running around while you work out is so good for me to see! :) I can be so uptight sometimes with our three littles when they are just being kids. Thank you!
Awe thank you Lauren! This video specifically was the first time I ever got harsh comments for having my kids present because they were particularly loud. If you want the updated version too, I have that here: th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
Have I mentioned how I love this video!! I'm 25 weeks pregnant and two weeks ago started doing this video 2x a week. Helps my hips feel soo good after. Also my husband and I always get a kick out of the kids, and are so impressed at how calm you always are with them! I love it!
I appreciate this video. I’m 6months pregnant with a lot of hip pain. And I must say I feel so much better after following along with your workouts!
this makes me SO HAPPY to hear! And if you want the updated version of this routine (quiet) you can get it here th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
My go to stretches as I've gotten further along in pregnancy and the aches and pains that have started. Much needed!
I'm so thankful for this video. I am just entering my 2nd trimester and it feels like my hips have stretched over night. I finally got a little relief from my hip pains. Going to do this every day.
I love the realness of this video(as well as the awesome stretches!). Thank you!
Thanks so much for being here and congrats on your pregnancy! If you want the updated version of this workout too you can snag it here th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
Both my 6 & 3 y/olds decided to join me on this! I think they were drawn by the sounds of your kids!
Thanks so much for the video! So helpful! I would definitely rather hear the children playing and enjoying life than some of the ‘music’ on some workout videos.
So excited for these stretches! My back has been so sore this time.
It is hilarious and adorable watching your kids play around you. Mine love to climb on me every time I'm on the mat. Adds another challenge haha!
Awww they’re so adorable!
As a mom of 5 boys (ages 9-2) I LOVED seeing your kids playing in the background through the video!
Hannah, you are a gem! I so admire you having FIVE busy boys ages 2-9 and thank you for being here. I hope you have my Free Prenatal Program for this pregnancy, too: www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
I am absolutely doing your free prenatal program! You are so motivating! I have never exercised this much during any of my pregnancies because I thought I didn’t have the energy, now I wake up every morning excited to workout. And I love telling my mom friends about you.
This is one of my favorite glowbodypt videos! Feels like I'm really getting prepared for labor already at 28 weeks with these stretches.
I'm so glad this felt great for you at 28 weeks along Lauren, well done! Have you tried my brand new pregnancy stretching video too? th-cam.com/video/b8_6bApD1ec/w-d-xo.html
@@glowbodypt That one was definitely a challenge! Glad I can start these stretches now in these last few weeks before baby comes :)
This felt so good! Especially that last stretch. I needed that one. Thank you for sharing real mom life! As a mom trying to work out pregnant with a 4, 2, and 1 year old climbing all over me, this is encouraging. My kids love it when Miss Ashley’s kids and dogs make appearances on camera!
Gah, thank you for relating Christi, it means so much to me! Love that you have a tribe of young children too. : )
Thank you so much!🙏🏼💖I will need to continue to do this, maybe twice a day. My lower left side struggled so much😓🙏🏼
Shauntae, have you done this one as well? th-cam.com/video/b8_6bApD1ec/w-d-xo.html
My toddler loves watching your videos especially when your pups and kiddos make an appearance. It lets him know it’s ok to play around me while I’m doing your videos! ❤️
Having your kids in the video makes my kids want to watch while I do this exercise!! Haha, I just have to give reminders “move your head please, so I can see the screen!!”
Mine too! Haha
Thank you for this recommendation! It felt really great for my back. I've had sciatica on my lower left side since hitting 6 months & this felt like a really good stretch for that area! I'd love to see more videos with stretches for sciatica! We're also waiting until the birth to find out the gender of our 3rd! It seems I'm due just before you!
I loved that you let the boys around. As a mom to be (very shortly) it's inspiring how you just continued. I grew up in a busy household. I imagine my poor mom with 4 kids would have loved this! Lol. I enjoyed your video. And videos . You have a new subscriber
As an 18 year old dude this feels amazing for my hips lol thank you
Loved this thank you. And so relatable with the kiddos 😂😊
Agreed
Thanks Ashley. I'm here in Cambridge, England, appreciating the stretches (yes, they feel great!) and how this video is good practice for staying focused as a mama when the kiddies are making noise around. Perfect training! :-) Happy new year.
I totally picked this video because of the real life scene of boys (I have 4) playing, thanks for showing how it really can be done even with littles running around and your cool temperament made it so peaceful. Love it, will use again, and the stretches feel great!
You are SO KIND! I love knowing that you have 4 kids Natalie (I delivered my 4th baby Laurel 8 months ago)...because I know you get this video 100%. Go snag my Free Prenatal Program here if you haven't already. I meet you exactly where you are in your pregnancy and take all the guess work out of what is safe when as we prepare your body for labor and delivery. www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
Thank you Ashley! You are so inspiring, love all your prenatal workouts, they really help me get through my pregnancy 🙏🏾
GlowBodyPT yes sure I’m following your prenatal plan and it’s so helpful 💪🏾🤰🏽
Kisses to the kids they are super cute 🤗
Nice stretch routine. Made me realize how much mobility I have lost at 31 weeks..that figure 4 and the rocking was hard for me .I'll keep working on it.
There is nothing more joyful than listening to our little ones at play. I can't wait for my son to have a little playmate.
You have the BEST attitude. I even have a *new version* of this routine on youtube because of women who complained about my kids being in this video. Rest assured, you will see my kids in plenty of the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan and it is the absolute best at restoring the integrity of your core and pelvic floor postpartum as a mother. If you don't have it already, go snag my FREE Prenatal Program! Use all of the workouts highlighted as my favorites for 32+ weeks to set you up for maximum success during this labor and delivery, and for faster recovery postpartum if you get on the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan. We will get your flexibility and mobility back...and maybe even better than pre-pregnancy!
@@glowbodypt Great! Always nice seeing someone else who let's their kids be kids and be present in whatever you're doing.
Yes, I just downloaded your prenatal plan and I definitely plan on following the postnatal plan! It's such a peace of mind following your workouts, so thank you!
Just found you on TH-cam and ugh I wish I had found you sooner!!! This is the BEST video I've found so far that ACTUALLY worked for releasing my back pain. I'm about 25 weeks now so it's getting real! I'm sure I'll watch and do this routine again and again!! Thank you so much!!
Also so cute seeing your kids and your dog and props to you for your kindness and patience to them, to us and most of all to YOURSELF, for making it to the end of the video! Go mama!!
PHEW love that this is real life AND my sensory overload was raging…. Yall pray for me and my baby in December 😅😣 some days are better than others!
Hey they are playing and being kids and not suck in front of a screen which can be my go to to often, so cheers to childhood imagination! I enjoyed the video thanks! Thanks for the whole prenatal program as well I’m really liking it.
I watched the new version first and while i get why people complained, i also think they must have been in their first pregnancy, or don't have boys 😂. My son is always with me while i workout so this really didnt phase me LOL. Also I'm expecting a second boy so this gave me a glimpse at what the dynamic will be once there are two haha. ❤ Thanks for all you do, Ashley!
You GET it Brianna! Honestly I am so incredibly grateful your boys will also be fairly close together. My boys are truly best friends. Congrats to you and thanks for taking the time to say Hi here!
Enjoyed the stretches! Also SOO impressed for keeping your calm when your lights go knocked over. #goals Staying calm when there are accidents, still working on that with my first one :/
Gosh, thank you. I think God has given me a little more patience with each little human added to our family! Grateful to have you here.
I loved this video!! Felt great stretches in my hips! I’m a first time mom 18 weeks pregnant and am noticing my hips could use more mobility. Would you suggest doing this video often or is there another video that can help with hip mobility? Thanks for making such great informative & encouraging content!!!
This is awesome! Really having trouble with the last two stretches, though. My belly is definitely too big at 30 weeks, and the last twist did not feel good on my belly, so I tried my best to modify these two.
Eva (love your name so much....it is super close to my baby girl Ava's name!) Try this version instead, I think it will help you a bit: th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
@@glowbodypt Oh yes, that one works great for me. Will be doing that from now on! Thanks so much for doing these
That must have been very challenging to do with the kiddos about, but more power to you for showing up even when it’s hard! It’s just real life as a mom! Loved the workout and honestly this noisy kids didn’t bother me a bit since they weren’t mine LOL.
I definitely needed this! Also, thank you for all of your pregnancy tips!
You’re super inspiring. Look at you, pregnant, looking beautiful, filming a workout video with two crazy little boys. Teach me your ways! Lol
This video basically mimics my life with a 3 + 5 year old “working out “ with me! Great stretches.
You did quite great with your boys playing around... thumbs up!!!
You are doing amazing! Great job keeping your focus with all the wildness in the background!!
Thanks for working out with your kids. All these "mom" videos on yt and there are no kids. ??? Where are they? Mine are at my feet all day!
Love it! Real mom life!❤
THANK YOU. How many weeks are you Krystal? Have you snagged my free prenatal program yet? www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
Love this video! My hips and back actually feel better already!!
That makes me so happy to hear Jem! And heres my updated version for you too th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
First kid for me, I couldn’t help but giggle and remember by childhood with my younger brothers.
@@glowbodypt I'm good, learned a lot, I just in general remembered how I was with my brothers making a ruckus at home with them so I found this more charming and endearing lol and thank you I'm 4 months and a half along with my pregnancy I'm excited yet nervous lol
Can’t concentrate with the kids right in my ear through headphones but I really want to do these exercises regularly.. is it possible to remake the video without the sprogs?! Would be amazing if you could.
This really helped thanks
You should try my updated version too! th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
Hi, are you using any yoga or pilates exercises pls? If yes, could you recommend or add link to workout for pregnant where there is non of these pls?
Yea I must be ready for my baby cus I can watch this with ease with all the extra chaos 😂😂
I love your boys! I have 3, and it's so wonderful to know I'm not alone! haha
The best! THANK YOU for relating as a boy mom of 3. : )
OMG love your yoga pants. Are they Lulu's?! And I love how comforted I feel with you munchkins in the background. My lil guy (1-year-old) is the same, so it's nice to see another mama working out while juggling our young ones!
These are cheapies actually, called Queenie K (amazon brand) and my other favorites are all linked on my website www.glowbodypt.com/products
Felt awesome on my not pregnant body :)
I was working along with you with my own two little minion boys running around and being crazy! 😂
I like this video better - prepares you for all aspects of motherhood 😂
my back was hurting/feeling so tight--just the stretch I needed!
Hannah, I'm so glad this one provided relief for your tight and hurt back during pregnancy!
You need this one, too (a GlowBodyPT FAVORITE): th-cam.com/video/b8_6bApD1ec/w-d-xo.html
And here's an updated version of this same workout: th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
@@glowbodypt thank you!!!
Yes I have two boys and pregnant with a third this is definitely my life! My husband always says he doesn’t think little girls would be so crazy 😜
not thaaaat relaxing with your boys in the background :D but I can totally understand it, with also 2 kids jumping in my background :D
I can appreciate having your kiddos in the video to show real life, as I’m a mother to a 3.5 year old as well. However, I found it extremely distracting and hard to hear you over them. I also have sound sensory problems so sudden, loud noises tend to affect me negatively. It was also hard for me to relax my muscles into the positions to get the best possible stretch because of this. I am high anxiety though, so others may not have this problem. Just something you may want to keep in mind to be more inclusive to a larger audience in the future. Thanks for taking the time to make this video though!
Boho Bella I updated this video years ago: th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
How are you so Zen with the kiddos running around? My kids would've def smacked me on the head with a back swing from the hockey stick, or be constantly hogging the camera spotlight 😅 thanks for the video. Regarding one of the last ones where you twist a bent knee across to the other side (I used to do that a ton pre-pregnancy), I thought we shouldn't do that/keep clear of anything that twists your torso? Anyway, as long as I didn't feel any pain or discomfort, I still did it hehe. I trust you (and my body).
I totally relate with the kiddos this is the true depiction of mommy life. Also I'm so impressed with your ability not to even look phased, great little work out!
American Mom (love your name-- Go America!) you are the kindest. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I also uploaded a *quiet* version for those who left harsh comments, and in case you ever want that version it's here th-cam.com/video/ueZ3TG6wGsU/w-d-xo.html
Is it safe to do that twisting spinal stretch second and third trimester I thought there was no twisting allowed?
No rapid twisting is allowed. : ) Gentle twists are just fine!
Where can I find the updated video? Yes, I agree that real mon life is lovely. But between her kids and mine, I simply can not hear a thing she's saying. Plus, if I ever get a moment where my kids are quiet, it's nice to enjoy a calming stretch rather than have it filled with different loud noises. I say this with love, respect, and gratitude, just wanted to show another perspective without being hurtful
It's on the bottom of the plan, after the calendar. The stretch will you to the new one.
I also agree 100%. It's very difficult to get the proper information if you can't hear, also. I think that her mentioning it in multiple videos also continues the anger that people feel the need to comment on. And I'm someone who's done her programs for 3+ years and bought 2 programs.
Question. I am 34 weeks and experiencing some rather strong muscular soreness/pain around my vagina. I understand that it is normal with the pressure from my uterus increasing. However, I'm wondering what I can/should do about it? I would like to still work out but not sure what is safe. And are there stretches that would really target that area for relief?
I came back to this one. I like the noise and your sweet boys playing with each other. The other video is too quiet? 🤷🏻♀️😅 37 wks! Thanks for the videos
Hi Ashley! As of yesterday (I am intending on seeing a doctor today) I stqrted experiencing symptoms of Symphasis Pubis Dysfunction and I must admit that what I read about it online is panicking me. It says that iften women have it until after the baby is born. Working out has been such a crucial part of pregnancy and at this point it is difficult to walk let alone work out. I would like to know if you have any imput, stretches, or perhaps work out recommendations 😁
@@glowbodypt thank you! A pool sounds like a fabulous idea too
@@glowbodypt I have had SPD in all 4 of my pregnancies. Is there anything that can be done between pregnancies to prevent or lessen the severity of it in the next pregnancy?
@@nataliedavis1305 Hi there, I'm a birth doula and this is what i share with my all clients who have SPD. hope it helps! (sorry this is my husband's you tube account lol) www.plus-size-pregnancy.org/pubicpain.htm#Planning%20for%20Birth and don't be alarmed by the name of the site - the information on SPD is for mamas of all shapes and sizes!
thank you so much for this video. Can i please confirm that this video is ok to do after week 25/week 26 and how often do you need to do it? Also, when you are rotating your hips in the earlier part of the video (1.37 mins into the video- is the motion circular? I can't hear your instructions due to back ground noise and just want to confirm :)
@@glowbodypt Thanks so much for your reply :) so it's safe to do this in week 26? Do you have any other videos that you have done that your recommend to make birth easier/more manageable? What kind of squats are ok to do from week 26 till due date? Thx in advance for your time :)
Admirations for working out, even when kids are running around. I do the same with 3, and a fourth on the way! So I don't get all the negative comments..
@@glowbodypt Girl, honestly, there is nothing to feel bad about. it is an amazing stretch, and i prefer this one rather than the other one, as I can relate more 😁😁 Thank you so much for your wishes! xx
We don't live in a culture that sees the value in children, and that's a damn shame. I have two toddlers and an admin job, which are thrown together by merit of it being an "at home" position. I completely understand this atmosphere lol you handle it better than I do sometimes! Especially if I have a client on the phone. I've had to apologize for the background noise more than a few times.
I find the back release pulls my tummy, is there another back stretch?
Love to do this one in the morning bc I usually wake up with sore hips. Question: Is the last stretch a safe twist? I’m not super clear on what is considered cross-body twists and what isn’t.
Thanks!
I feel like I’m having a hard time opening my hips up (always have, this is not a new pregnancy symptom). I’ll try and do this video multiple times a week to see if it can help. Any other suggestions?
Stephanie, Keep in mind that if you've always had trouble opening up your hips it is likely related to your anatomy (genetics) verses just mobility restriction. Your femur has a head called a greater trochanter. We all have a different size neck and head that goes into the hip socket. The angle of your hip socket or the angle of the greater trochanter and it's head are very likely contributing factors to your limited hip range of motion. The only things you can are continue to work within your own limits. I want you trying this routine now: th-cam.com/video/b8_6bApD1ec/w-d-xo.html Then once you're postpartum if you get on my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan you'll want to do the Post Pregnancy Mobility routine at least every other week for maintenance since we know this is a weak/limiting area that you may need a little extra work at in order to prevent injuries long term. : )
