Your awesome :,)
🤣🤣🤣

Can't believe they played "hey" that's a hell of a underrated song. John chorus sounds like an angel singing on this one
I needed almost 10 years until I realized how awesome this song is!
I couldn't believe it either, I really hope they keep on playing underrated songs like that on the tour.
My favorite song!
One of the best songs. Anthony was kind of out of tune in some parts.
@@carloscafeteve2572 he almost always is, except for maybe slane castle. but that is okay, that is him and that is part of rhcp and i really would not have it any other way
Flea- “I feel so happy. So happy that John frusciante is here with us tonight.” Me too flea, me too.
time stamp?
@@ilanrodriguez7698 21:11

Me too...
Sooooo happy he's back!
Chad honoring Taylor on his bass drum is AMAZING!
Man, it's fucking Frusciante, every sec is hard to believe that he's really back
Yeah, i swear everytime i see his public appearance is like seeing a yeti lol
Thats why I need to go see him with my own eyes. Who is with me ?
@@theextramile7438 I’m with you! August Atlanta here I come
I'm only going cause Frusciante is back. Roll on June x
Chad Smith pulled all his tricks for this new album I am so impressed. Frusciante really brings out the best in these guys. Chad in These are the ways, Flea in Acquatic Mouth Dance, and Anthony in Not the One? This is inspired music-making. Not to mention Frusciante in Here Ever After!!!
Oh yeah they let Chad cook in this one. Especially These are the days. Sounds great.
John said this album "Unlimited love" would be more "rhythmic"
That solo for Here Ever After...that is exactly what I was waiting for 15 years.
For real.. jf went crazy 🎸
And Hey is amazing
I'm so excited by the fact that they played "Hey". It's one of their best songs ever and I so hope they play it in Florence when I'm gonna be there
Lucky you! Have a blast!!
So happy John Frusciante is back in the band
Philly as well!
see u there man
Which minute?
Chad deserves more love he's fucking KILLING it up there
Absolutely
Frusciante's background vocals on Snow are superb
And the smiles! He smiling when he is singing!
@@jackchn23 , like never before.
I still can't believe what's goin on.
It's the fourth time I watch this show and only now I am able to look at a band member apart from John. The previous three times I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I'm so glad my boys are back together blasting their music, love and energy ❤️
I come back and watch this almost every day. I'm a Metal guitarist, but I love John so much and to see him happy and shredding again, puts a smile on my face.
Hell yes! He is an amazing person and guitar player; that has overcome so much!
If you haven’t, listen to the following: Curtains , The Empyrean, people obscured by clouds … all John solos … they are beautiful
@@juanvaldez5422 lol u mean shadows collide with people?
@@whynotzara yeah, sorry . Was off the top of my head
@@whynotzara ya know what I did there ? Lol. I was thinking of the Floyd album “Obscured by Clouds”
Johns solo in "Hey" blew my mind
I didnt think he could put anymore emotion than the studio version, but this goes to show to never underestimate the man.
Very many thanks for recording and uploading all these videos over the past 24 hours Lucid. It feels so very special to watch their first concert after so long.
I was very fortunate enough to be there. I’ve been to a lot of amazing shows, but that was easily one of the best I’ve seen and a night I’ll never forget. To see John, my favorite guitarist ever, back in the band again and even walk out of the venue with a Chad Smith drum stick made it even more memorable. Thank you so much for capturing the full set so I can relive that moment for eternity.
How did you get tickets?
@@mindy561 I was gonna get a ticket for their show at Amoeba that day, but the line was way too long when I got there. However it was 8 AM and they officially announced the Fonda show that morning, and tickets were only sold at the box office so I just got in line and stayed there until I got my ticket!
@@kevincollins2761 ahhh. Did you hear about it on kroq? I just got my sofi tix but would have much rather seen a small show. Glad you loved it!
@@mindy561 I actually saw the band’s name up on the Fonda when driving into the city and then I asked people in line at Amoeba if they were playing that night and they said they were!
Almost 4 decades creating music and have better energy than the early days... What an amazing band!!! Unbelievable album!!! The Chili Peppers are back on the road!!!
Man I would have never thought I'd be watching RHCP live with John in the band. These are the ways.
Under rated comment
I mean I must say he adds nothing to these live concerts and I've watched 20+ RHCP full live concerts... Josh was the way but they lost that gem. No more dark necessities Josh incredible solos, no more dark necessities at all tbh such a peak RHCP song. Now they're back to spamming the old songs they wrote while only John was in the band which we've all heard a billion times. Their new stuff seems to be missing the sweet spot as well. Personally I don't care if John is ''the OG'' member, Josh really outdid him by a mile with his clutch saves by jumping in and singing, doing insane solos etc. Just listen to ''by the way'' they did in this concert. Half the lyrics are just wrong and John doesn't even bother clutching it. Idk how ppl think this is better ..
@@Daminionz I was kinda scared to say that lol. I miss Josh, he is so great live. Great!! And I've listed to the new album maybe 10x and fall asleep about 5 tracks in every time. I really didn't see that John brought much to it. The Josh albums have way more interesting guitar parts. Where did Josh go? Id like to hear an interview with him about how his firing went down and what he's doing now.
honestly it still blows my mind that I got to experience this show in person. It was incredible.

pin it pleaseee
I read it first and I thought they had played encore one of my favorite songs 😢
I can't get over how these guys still play like they're 16 pushing 60. So damn inspiring!
Chad putting on a master class. Such a powerhouse.
Great seeing them all playing together again. Loved every second of it
Chad was frisky for sure
Really think that he is overplaying. He seems so bored and compensate with too many fills..
@@21stCenturyWarlock he was always somewhat like that. Live shows are there for you to put more energy and power in your playing, especially with RHCP. And Chad, as well as anyone in the band, is anything but bored. It must be the time of their lives now that they have their best lineup back
@@felipepestana Agree that energy should be put it. But objectively, he is not serving the songs, he is overplaying. Same pretty much goes for Flea, but well, that is RHCP for you. Been a long time fan, but it is getting hard to enjoy the live shows.. Take a look at Slane, there they are much more in disciplined and in control.
chad play always like that overbeating the drums and i like it..👍🏽👍🏽 energetic🥁
Anthony to the wardrobe dept.: Give me the "kid going outside to play in 1983 look please".
THEY STILL GOT IT BABY!!! LOVE THIS.
Seeing a modern Marshall Stack, the same way you would see Hendrix use on stage in the late 60s, makes perfect sense for a player like Frusciante. Man, all of them sound great already, Chad’s drumming is on a completely different level now!! Cannot wait to see these guys later in their tour, they’re only going to get better!! 🤘❤️
Agree! Chad's next level! You can tell they've had so much fun jamming for this album.
@@kareasutherland6367 Most definitely, they were meant to create an album like this at this current stage in their lives. Easily their best since Stadium, I like that they’ve deviated from the typical hit song formula that they’ve had. Plus, going completely analog with the instrument tracks (Anthony’s vocals were the only element that ran through a computer) really benefits their sound in a huge way. 🤙🌶🔥
its like they all make each other sound better and play better, i missed this chemistry when josh was the solo guitarist
@@rubenca5586 Most definitely. In a recent interview with Rick Rubin, John mentions how they’re very similar to jazz players. An example would be with accompanying Flea’s bass parts, John says that it already has a guitar part built into it. He just has to be aware enough to play what’s already there in the air for him, in that moment. From there, their sounds are infinitely revolving between Flea, John, and Chad. Such a beautiful thing to hear and see. ❤️
31 years later seeing them play give it away with the same energy, unbelievable
Chad's drumming is OFF THE CHARTS!!! They got it going on! Tight! The 4 are back!!!
John is the comfiest looking rock star in history.
I never thought I'd see John Frusciante with the band again but dreams do come true sometimes. The band never sounded better. I am in rock and roll heaven 😍😍😍
Not rock n roll but sex funk rap rock punk metal pop alternative with a healthy dose of psychedelia from heaven and bone crunching mayhem
The Jhon Frusciante covers mid concert is what my life needs
I'm really expecting they to play "The Heavy Wing" soon just to see John on vocals at the chorus, seriously.
Love that song. So far my favourite of the album
yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh. And shes a lover too
I'll take either that or wet sand honestly
Thats the song that Frusciante fans have waited 16 years for
I’m going to cry sooo hard if I have the chance to see this live… seriously! It would be freaking amazing!
Very accomplished musicians individually and a great band altogether, still got it after all these years.
Only this jams between songs could be musical careers of many bands
It's happened 🤣
Outstanding drummer
This makes me smile so much seeing them come together right before the music starts playing.. Flea peeved at Anthony for something, Chad chilling and John quietly amped up. Love seeing these 4 guys together at the same time.
The guitar solo from "Hey" gave me chills I can't imagine what the people in the audience felt!!! 😍
I was right in the front and let me tell you it was amazing 🤩
@@Shmoobin97 how freaking cool! I bet that's something you will remember for the rest of your life! 🤟
They’ve literally never been better than right now! 😭🤯 they continue to blow my mind. Cannot wait til September 1st!!!!!!
I'm there in June x
Charlotte nc.trying to talk my wide in to going with me.
Love how George Clinton has a hype man following him around dancing on stage with them 🤣
THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ARE THE RED HOT CHILI PAPPYS AT THIS POINT 😄😇 THESE GUYS ARE IN THEIR 50S!!! AND STILL ROCKING HARD IN 2022. OH MY GOD, GOODLUCK.
Dr. Funkenstein! Still out there doing it!! Filled with joy knowing the Chili Peppers are back and with Mr. John Frusciante!! How bout y’all?!
Mr. Johnny Frusciante is my favorite guitarist of all time. One of my favorite songwriters as well. Seeing the peppers back in 06 with an estimated 90,000 others in nola changed my life forever.
We’re all so incredibly thankful he’s back!!!
I think it's great we still have musicians today like RHCP. I have loved their music and performances for many years. Fantastic.

Im fallin in love with "not the one" ♥️
Muchas muchas gracias por subir esto a Ytube, It feels so very special to watch their first concert after so long (x2).
Bring on June 22nd Manchester, I have waited a lifetime to see them together 🥰
I love how at first it looks awkward, like their having technical issues. John changes guitars, Flea's mic doesn't work. And then in a few seconds they gather center stage and kick off without the expected intro jam and completely rip their best new song in over 15 years. Pretty simbolic.
Chad Smith is a fucking beast behind the kit!!! 👊
I have no words. This is amazing. Thanks for sharing it
Thank you so much for uploading it!!

Already watched twice, will watch again!!!! LFG BOYS, feeling the love
Amazing thanks for this
Can't help but think Taylor Hawkins was fresh on their minds when the first words they spoke after "These Are The Way," was to praise Chad. Definitely a reminder to appreciate all these guys while they're still with us. Thanks so much for this upload.
I wish I knew half of what Flea forgot when it comes to my Bass playing. 👍👏👍
Thanks for the video !
I have seen the Chili Peppers live since the mid 1980’s and they are still true to the music. Only difference, no real mosh pit like the 80’s. Saw them play almost three hours in the early 90’s with George Clinton and still hear the show in my ears.
Moshing has died down pretty much everywhere. You got to go to hardcore punk concerts now to relieve the pits today.
When George Clinton comes on to perform Give it Away, You know the funks going up a level !!!!!!!
Thank you very much Lucid, God bless .......
So happy to see John. A true creative genius that is needed in this chemistry
