I mean, I don't really get it. You can make just about any riff sound heavy if you play a bunch of low E palm mutes or power chord palm mutes. This isn't exactly an achievement.
People can say what they want about Metallica but we should all be grateful they are still together and still touring. Because the day will come when they'll play their final show

On the Garage Inc., they all seem pretty solid to me, even if some people complains about the 1988/1992 covers not being produced, or being barely produced (The Prince, Breadfan, etc...) and the Motorhead cover being recorded live which means far from the studio quality. The 3 covers they made that ended up on the HTSD deluxe edition are amazing as far as I am concerned (and still astonished they never played live two of those). The Ennio Morricone tribute they made in 2007 of the Ecstasy of Gold is fantastic. The only ones that can be debatable are probably the Ramones covers they made during the St Anger period (some of them are OK, but some are horrible), and that acoustic version of Alice in Chain's Would? they recorded alongside with the Blackened 2020 is also quite debatable for it doesn't brings justice to this amazing song.

Some people bother me when they start complaining about why he cant yell and shout like he used to, but they should be thinking about if they'd rather have Metallica still around or no Metallica at all. Because if he had continued to blow his voice to shreds, Metallica would have been cooked
His best since the late 90s, 80’s can’t be touched. And through no fault of his own. Can’t expect him to sound like Seattle 89 when he’s 60 years old. He sounds amazing though!
The stage setup is crazy - a combo of the Death Magnetic and M72 stages. And everyone just seems happy in this video. I'm glad this band is still going after everything they've been through.

Fantastic song and a top concert in Oslo 2024. The first time I saw Metallica was back in 1986 in Skedsmohallen, Norway. On bass was Cliff Burton, I shook his hand that night. 2 days later he was gone. RIP ❤️ 🤘
Wow! This song means so much for me.. About 15 years ago when I studied drums playing in the Russian outback, me and two young guitarists chose this song to play as a part of exam after our learning. We spent hours playing only this song again and again until we managed to perform something alike - simplified, but still driving the people in front of the stage (our friends mostly) go slam. It was my first public performanse on drums and this moment and this song I will never forget. Unfortunatelly, after the years I can't event go back to Russia to see my friends and parents as Putin attacked Ukraine and I'm against it so can be jailed for years. But thank you, Metallica for that cover, thank you Brian Tatler and Diamond Head for the song! I would be so happy to watch this live, but I visited Metallica show in Madrid. The very end with Lars and James killed me. I love Lars but as a musician myself i can relate and understand the underlying humor in it when someone fumbles. I love how they played on that a little bit. Us musicians take our talents seriosuly however on stage you cannot be TOO serious.. mistakes happen. You keep playing no matter what then make a joke about it later on. We are only human. What an honor that must of been for Metallica to have Brian join them on stage. Great performance.

This venue is like 30 minutes from the city center by bus, and you could hear them play as clear as day from there. So good.
