I think Josh held back both him and Flea on the past 2 albums, they are much better with John. By the way, I like Josh since 2001 so it's not bashing him or anything but I think that they are better with John.

My gosh Chad!!!! I always love the communication that happens when playing live. Flea goes at 4:10 and is like "give it to me chad" and Anthony at 4:25 is like "I want some too". Just the raw feed of power is contagious.

One really unbelievable thing about RHCP at this moment is that they renewed their old energy which is so unexpected but so valuable in this time when Rock n Roll kind of doesn’t exist anymore
i think they are one of the few groups that was born in the 80s-90s and they are still capable of figuring out a sound that could fit nowadays without the energy from past years...
Small notice - it doesnt exist anymore IN MASS MEDIA, it still lives spiritually, Chilis have influence on media since early 90s

Chad is shining so bright on this album. it's their best and everyone in the group has upped their game.
They've been going for nearly 40 years, it's just incredible that they keep coming up with the goods like this.

This is the type of set that will live in the folklore of TH-cam algorithms for eternity. That was hands down as good or better than any studio album. RHCP just amazing performers. And cool to see Chad going off for Taylor's memory... RIP.

This is great .. so free form and unusual song structure wise. When one sees a band like U2 who have overproduced the life out their last two albums to the point it's unrecognisable as an actual band playing music. So refreshing to hear a straight up 4 piece. Whod have known it, Chilis are the band of 2022!

It's the complete opposite...the last few U2 albums have very little production...zooropa, Achtung Baby , Pop and No Line on The Horizon were big layered productions. Songs of experience and innocence, barely had any layers or production except for The Troubles
