Frank, I'm so sorry that your parents aren't involved in your life and aren't there to see what a great husband, father, and person you are. It takes a lot of bravery to put yourself out there in this way, but I think it's really important and it definitely makes a difference to everyone that watches this. Not only does it let us get to know you a little more but it also shows us that we're not alone in experiencing seasonal depression or having strained family relationships. I'm glad you joined TH-cam and have been able to find community here, we're all here for you! 🙂
thank you for being vulnerable and talking about mental health. so many people struggle and it is important to talk about. depression can be confusing and I'm sorry you have had to go through it and that your family is absent. we all stand with you and this community is a chosen family ❤️we love you Frank!
Good for you for being able to talk about it Frank. Seasonal depression is very real for a lot of people. I deal every year after losing a loved one many years ago a week before Christmas. I've learned that during these times taking it one day at a time can help, and if it means doing what's best for you those that care for you will understand.
I appreciate you watching the video, and I appreciate you telling me a little bit about yourself. As I mentioned in the video, always feel free to reach out. That's why I started my YT channel.
Thanks for sharing and I'm sorry that your family isn't in your life. It stinks. I have seasonal depression as well and sometimes it means a lot to know we're not alone. I'm so very glad I found your channel. Big virtual hugs.
I've dealt with it almost every day for about 3.5 years. To be honest, It's probably been longer, but that's when I started to acknowledge that i had something going on with my mental health. Hang in there and just take it day by day. If you ever need to bend an ear, hit me up. I mean that. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Frank. God bless.
Thank you for sharing, Frank. Everything happens for a reason but you have your family and that is the important thing. We all have issues in one way or another. It’s important to stay healthy: physically and mentally. We love see new videos posted. Keep up the amazing work and remember to have a happy holiday. You rock.
Frank these mental health awareness talks are valuable. Everyone experiences mental health challenges and only recently became ok to speak out. My mother died in February after cruel illness of dementia/alzheimer's. This Christmas and rest of my life won't be the same however I think of what she would have wanted which is for me to move forwards. Anyone in current situation and future advice...DO NOT SELF ISOLATE and talk to someone.
Oh man. Bumber about your parents. There is nothing more challenging than family issues. Sounds like your core family you have created is very good, and you have a lot to love, enjoy and to be inspired by. I found my dad last summer who had been sick for some time, and being an only child from a split home was very difficult in having to deal with a lifetime of mixed dynamics, great memories, and regret, along with taking care of all the estate stuff myself, coming off the heals of some type of injury while still trying to work my challenging job. Things are much smoother now, but the challenges of life never stop, but there is sooo much to enjoy and love as long as one has decent health. My only advice to anyone, is sometimes its ok to let go of a standard, expectation or to not participate to heal. I just got sick and completely lost my voice to laryngitis yesterday - major drag , and it will likely be taking me out of x-mas festivities this year - what can ya do...
Happy holidays to you and your family! I was watching your Barnes n noble video from last week and was thinking about how sweet it was seeing someone buy thoughtful gifts for their loved ones it is nice to be known and seen by others. I feel like my family doesn’t really know my interests well enough to know what to gift me so I’m usually the one getting them for myself haha so in a way I understand where your coming from feeling like somethings missing. I think your doing a great job as a dad and husband :) keep it up, take care man!
Thanks for sharing your story and for being brave and opening up and talking about it. It takes a lot of courage. I suffer from Depression too and this Christmas has been a struggle for sure. I try watching Christmas Movies that I love and try to put on a smile but it's not working at all. It just feels forced. Hang in there, stay strong, and we can kick Depressions you know what! It won't ever win!💙
No problem and thanks for telling me a little bit about yourself as well! As I mentioned in the video, always feel free to reach out, so far I've found that to be very helpful as well.
