Now you can go back and watch some of those region locked blurays with all those special features from those overseas 4k's that have all the special features on the region locked bluray's. 😊

You’re not kidding Frank,…I just finished watching Troll Hunter last Saturday when Amazon delivered it last Friday….holy cow it’s really good, cinematography is out of control beautiful & has some very funny scene’s with that Hans troll hunter guy😂😂😂….thanks for the other suggestions & looks like I’m gonna have to buy a Panasonic Region-Free player now😂😂😂…your showing some serious Region B movies there….🍻cheersmate like always, good stuff🤘🏾😲🤘🏾

If you like the Norwegian trollhunter, I would imagine you would also enjoy a movie called the Ritual. It may not be a found footage movie, but the combination of you enjoying a dark foresti trollhunter and the Borderlands makes the ritual a perfect antidote. 4 Brits who decide to take a shortcut through a thick Norwegian forest who ends up being hunted by something even more sinister than the troll Hunter himself. If one has a sound system, expect to hear lots of low frequency ambient effects. Fabulous British character actors too

I know of one person who enjoys found footage films. Everyone else just says they’ve seen Paranormal Activity. I’d have to connect with the community online to find more interest haha A lot of these Ive seen in theaters have honestly been the best movie experience I’ve had! Solid list Frank!

I have a region free sony blueray player and automatically launches movies without pushing any buttons

Nice, after 4+ yrs my 820 started having trouble read disc. Seemed to happen after update firmware last summer. I had new 820 bought several yrs & install but didn’t update firmware, plays great. My Oppo 203 is modified so can play UK disc. Found the hack 820 won’t play some UK labels

I've purchased the DP-UB9000 region free for £1000. You can buy them already region free. Just open disc draw and press 1, 2 or 3.

Just bought one in Uk for £435, all the multi stuff works fine. The is a problem with the newer viersion and a weaker lazer, where it freezes and pixalation occurs; somehting to do with sourcing lazers from a different place. But it came with a 3 year warrentee.

I went for the best region free 4K/Blu Ray Player when it comes to picture and especially sound quality: the Magnetar 900. Never going back!

My ub820 lasted 3yrs thats normal,I'm a bluray burner i only watch bluray movies,don't stream nothing just bluray movies..i learn to always have a player on stand by, i am think going dynastar region free ...let me know in a couple of years how it went for you,thks

For me far as found footage goes I don’t think the Blair witch is that good. It paved the way but for me personally the girl drove me crazy. Good pick ups frank.

$$$ I pre ordered the Trilogy. The music score by Ennio Morricone is dramatic , coyote howling ...it amazing sets vibe. "The Good Bad Ugly" is my favourite; yes the start is very slow burn for 1st hr because it setting up the character development and story....u will think wtf nothing happening but be patient 😂 all sudden it will smack u in face and no turning back. It does this when Clints character is dragged into civil war and they in trenches...then it just awsome from there. I also got Arrows spaghetti western box sets and i sometimes just listen to the Soundtrack because i love that guitar 🎸 playing.

Nice box set. However, it's not 4K and the book (or should that be "buch"?) is in German, so I won't buy it.

Panasonic makes good stuff. My TV and surround sound is made by them. And they are superb. The top of the range Panasonic 4K player is supposed to be amazing and then some.

I have a Sony X700 multi region player...and as I live in the UK..I can play all those Shout Factory and Kino Lorber Blu Rays from the USA...well worth it.

Kind of Poitless Blu Rays are Mostly Region Free You can spot a Blu ray Free By Looking the code on the disc The only Region locked Blu rays are those made in country But I see use on the DVD side those are Dead Locked

I had two uB820s but ended up moving up to a Reavon 4k which is also region free. There's a lot of discussion as i made a video comparing the same disc in two 820s it had over 14k views. Check with your region as the player may be locked onto region. B and you may need to switch it back over to region A again to play US discs.

How much did you spent in total? My wallet did a big damage this month ever 😂

Only the blu ray is region locked the 4k blu is not. Multi region if you want blu ray to play. And even then it depends on your tv excepting signal.

The DP-U820 can be bought in the UK with full Bluray and DVD Multiregion mods for the equivalent of $556 (£449), $200 cheaper than the original US price, and almost $100 cheaper than the price you paid. The UK model seems to be something of a bargain in comparison.

Among Severin finally sending their BF stuff, my VS sub haul and the sale shout had on John Carpenter UHD's (the completist in me LOL), it'll take me way too long to watch my January haul. I can sympathize and empathize... but I've loved Iced and Child's Play from VS... 😂 Arrow's UHD of "Alice, Sweet Alice" was fantastic!

If you have your 820 plugged into a surge protector, try plugging it directly into the wall. I had an issue with mine where it wouldn’t read discs (all of them) and would only work if I recycled the power to it. Found out that I had a failing surge protector. I replaced my surge protector with a brand new one and never had the issue again.

You don't know the hack you can do to all Panasonic's also the standard 820 to play all discs?

I have two UB 820 and I would get the older one multi region here in Australia.

Get your other one multi region.

after pressing 2 for region B you would then not be able to watch your region A if you just put it in the tray, you would have to click 1 for it to work, it remembers the last number you pressed so every time you change region code you need to press the required number
