Thank you again for another great training video on Camtasia, Russell. It's useful to be able to add our own assets and to be able to save them. Camtasia really does have a huge amount of functionality!

@@ttvRussell I can believe that, Russell! Until I started going deeper with Camtasia, I had no idea the amount of functionality the software has.

Unlocking the powers of the Assets in Camtasia is not the problem. Paying $200/year to unlock them is, especially when having to pay for the same assets that were there in 2022, 2021, 2020, etc. I've written Camtasia about this and they have yet to come up with a cogent response. They simply tell me that they're talking about it. Well, talk is cheap, and $200/year is not uniform when compared to the yearly maintenance update for Camtasia, which is about $50/year, and that for significant upgrades.

I understand your frustration with Camtasia's asset pricing, and the lack of transparent communication about it is indeed disappointing.

@@ttvRussell Thank you, Russell. I appreciate your willingness to understand. I only wish Camtasia would and then do something about it. Camtasia has a great thing going on with this particular product, and I have supported it for years with regular paid upgrades. And I have paid the $200 a couple of times for the Assets, as they were helpful in producing some of my own videos. But, someone at Camtasia seems oblivious of the disparity that exists in its main video production software (Camtasia) and its auxiliary software (Assets). A person can still make videos, as long as they have Camtasia, but a person cannot make videos by merely using Assets. Yet, the latter is more expensive than the former, and that just does not make sense. Therefore, if Camtasia's $300 is an upfront purchase, along with ~$50/year maintenance, then Assets ought to be $200 upfront with maybe an ~$30/year maintenance fee. That would make Assets at least someone consistent with Camtasia, and also make it worth keeping as an "asset" to the video producer.
      Anyway, thanks again.
