It sucks that there's actually only 4 types of suits excluding the hacker suit dlc. All of them are the same engineering, security, vintage, or advanced suits in different furnishes.
With the 4 types of suits you get and the numours re-skins of them especially the security suit...you're bound to find something in you're colour that will satisfy unless very picky...I'm quite more than content...I wish they put most or more of the security suit type of model in DS 3 cause I loved how many versions there were in the 2nd.

Unpopular opinion but the Vintage suit is just so awesome to me. I love the 70's cosmonaut look, it looks so distinct and unique. Hacker is probably my favorite. To me, it just sorta adds to the survival aspect of the game. Your wearing basically just regular clothes with little bits of armor that could have been just scavenged. Plus, I just think it looks cool.
Imagine how awesome it would be if you could start out your day like that. Get out of the shower, get dressed and before you go put out on a suit that gives a huge advantage in combat.
I think that the real better suit is the Level 6 Suit in Dead Space 1, I feel that even with the awesome aspect of the new ones, the Level 6 Suit was part of the escence of Dead Space, because somehow, that was part of the game, all your weapons, where tools, and your defense was a suit that was never made to fight a Necromorf. Now everything is made for warfare, not for enginering. But I still want to play the damn game.

Kauan Christian there's a glitch in the game where you can't have the hacker suit and the elite advanced suit in your safe at the same time, it will delete one of you try and you'll have to refind the schematic and he clearly wasn't in chapter 11 so that's probably why he couldn't show it, the same glitch is on the zealot and security suit, that's why he didn't have the security suit in his safe already.
All the games in the Dead Space series should be brought to the 8th-generation consoles in one package and the games would be featured in chronological order. The chronological order should be: 1. Dead Space: Extraction 2. Dead Space 3. Dead Space (mobile) 4. Dead Space: Ignition 5. Dead Space 2 6. You're missing the Elite Advanced Suit. It's located at the top of a long engineering elevator where you are attacked by a bunch of necromorphs. I think it's a little bit before getting to the drilling rig.

Thank goodness, the XBOX ONE will give us backwards compatibility later this year. I would love to play the Dead Space trilogy again and finally give Dead Space: Ignition a try.
It depends on the difficulty, if you started the load on easy, you will only recieve that suit, if you play on casual you will recieve Another, but not if you switch down to easy. The harder you play, the better stuff you'll get.
Old video, I know, but when it says "your RIG retains the highest upgrade of Armor and Inventory", that basically means once you unlock the highest tier of armor & inventory you can pretty much wear whatever you want at that point for style, right?
I like a more plated and or exoskeleton look with small details like back pockets,utility pockets,leg,shin,fore arm guards etc.Bonus points if combined with hoody and jacket and or markings like symbols.
One thing that I'd really like to see though, is that we get to see the suits in action worn by other NPCs in the game. Dead Space 1 nailed that pretty well with the Level 6 suit, giving us the feels that these suits aren't made specifically for Isaac but other people can wear (As well as die in it) as well.
