Nice fabrics! I love thrifted fabric. I use mostly sheets, tablecloths, curtains, and such. Fabric feels like it's "special." What's next weeks project? I just finished a summer dress and cut another. This time, I will try a knit fabric dress. I am not very familiar with sewing knits. However, I did just thrift a huge amount of knit that's pretty. I get hot in knit from the polyester. I also need to get someone to get some pictures to send. I have a vintage dress with a matching hat that I absolutely love! It's raining today, so maybe hubby will help.

Be careful with the placement of those medallions😂. It’s sew easy to end up with them somewhere you don’t want them. The green fabric looks to be quilting fabric. I’ve never had luck making garments with it. It just doesn’t hang right.
You two got some great deals, as always! I very much enjoyed seeing the Felt Mansion (for a minute I thought it was maybe a toy house made of felt, LOL!). Very interesting to see the styles and customs of another time and they truly don't build them like that any more - especially the 8 inch thick cement walls! When it comes to the "average" rating for patterns, sometimes that's because they just have more steps than an "easy" pattern - the steps may not be harder, there are just more of them so it takes longer and is a bigger commitment of time and effort. Sometimes a pattern rated easy leaves us all wondering what they were thinking, too, when they called it that!

Medallions can be tricky! Quilting fabric is for more like fun clothes.
